3 Mary

A few hours have passed since Savannah got kidnapped she is currently tied to a chair in the basement. Her Kidnappers are currently upstairs talking to someone who sounds like Steve, and the thought of playing right into their hands from the beginning has Savannah at a breaking point.

I called out and the sound of crying started to die down until eventually I heard someone ask "is anyone there." It sounded as if the person was right next to me, so I tried to recall the layout but all I could remember where the stairs. I kept trying to recall as much information as I could re-playing all the events that happened up till this point. Then yet again I heard someone call out " Hello is anyone there" and this time I reply swiftly with a "yes, my names Savannah I just been kidnapped." In return I was gifted with a sweet chuckle which really weirded me out. "You haven't been kidnapped this is just a prank my boyfriend setup for me and someone you know must have did the same... oh and by the way my names Mary" I was in complete awe that she honestly believed that, but for all I knew that could have been the truth so I asked her why did she believe that. " It's simple. why would anyone want to kidnap me?, Jack said where playing a game, and most importantly I was supposed to be meeting my boyfriend before they took me, and he said once that he hopes I get kidnapped.... we joke around like that sometimes."

Mary wasn't making much sense and I didn't know who jack was, and her attitude was to preppy for our situation. I had so many questions to ask her that I didn't know where to start, but then it dawned on me that what was bothering me the most was that she was crying not to long ago.

In an attempt to bring that up she cut me off with some questions of her own. "So who are you playing the game with? How long have you been here? I just woke up so i didn't notice you coming in." Mary was a bit odd but she was someone to talk to so I answered all of her questions in order "um I'm playing the game with my sister I guess, and I have only been here for about 15 mins; although I am strapped to a chair so that sucks. "Oh that must be tough my boyfriend ain't shit, but to be sent here by your own family… that must really suck I'm breaking up with my boyfriend once I leave here but your stuck with your sister for life. I was getting real worried for Mary because the more she spoke the more I realized that our life was in danger and she just thinks this is all some elaborate prank set up by her boyfriend. I wanted to try and break the news to her so that we could both escape together.

"Mary if this is all a prank when do we get to leave" it went quite so I assumed that she was lost in thought. Thinking I'm going to get a definitive answer from her set me up to lose all faith in her. As if she wasn't even listening to me she says in the same preppy tone " I don't know for sure. Jack said I have two days but I haven't really been keeping track…, so... You said your tied to a chair? How's that? What do you plan on doing when you have to pee? I felt that no matter what I said I wouldn't be able to make her understand the danger were in.

Meanwhile up stairs Steve is supervising Nathan as he mops up the water that was tracked in earlier. While the suited man is composing a text to Savannah sister to go along with the picture he took of her. It states that *If you want this person to survive you have 48 hours to find us, and if we feel that cops are even a mile near this place we will kill her immediately. Good luck and happy searching we'll be giving you hint tomorrow at noon till then this phone will be turned off*.

Immediately after the message was sent the suited man got a reply with a lot of facepalm emojis *knock it off this isn't funny* He noticed that yet again he wasn't taken very seriously in a rage he grabbed Steve by the shoulder and pushed him out the door and told him to go home well call you in a couple days when it's time for another job. This stunned Nathan at first, but when he was told to grab his tools and the other phone he jumped up and gave a brief salute than ran around the house looking for his bag of instruments. The suited man grabbed a chair and some twine and headed down stairs.

I heard a commotion upstairs and soon after a door was slammed shut. Mary finally went silent so I sure we were both trying to figure out was going on. Someone was running around above my head and I also heard a chair being dragged. The sound of the chair stopped for a seconded then seemed to be making its way down here. I had an ominous feeling something bad was about to happen, but even worse I felt a sense of relief because whatever they were about to do they needed a chair for it and I already had my own.

After the chair came to a stop and both men appeared to be down stairs someone walked over to where Mary was being held. I heard her talking to someone in a friendly tone" Hey Jack wheres Joseph?" From the other side of the room it sounded as if Nathan replied so I was confused on what was going on since she happily yelled back asking is it time for dinner already. The man she referred to as Jack chuckled before replying "not quite were going to start wrapping up your game early." Still sounding as if she doesn't have a care in the world Mary says "okay" and continues to follow their directions I listen as she allows them to tie her to the chair making comments like "now I'm just like Savannah" making my mind shift from let's make it out of this together to bitch keep my name out of your mouth they might have forgot I was here. Soon after she said that someone started walking in my direction, so I started to worry Nathan opened my door smiled then walked up to me. He reached into his pocket and pulled out my phone then pressed my thumb up against the sensor. Not too long after that the sound of a couple phones ringing echo throughout the basement until I hear my sister's irritated *Hello and some dudes yelling *were you at bitch.
