1 Back story

You all know of mermaids and mermen well not this one...

Many many moons and waves ago. Where met people ruled the tides. There was harmony peace and love. Before mermen and maids lived and loved each other in peace. Every merman and maid was given a moonstone with unique powers. The merman used the stone in a trident. The merman would keep it on a necklace. The powers were used for good not bad, to keep peace along the ocean. Until one group of mermen decides to see exactly how much power could be concealed into a trident. After a quick experiment They discovered how a moonstone of a mermaid and merman United gave them enough power to control those around them.

After discovering the power they maid a plot to take every moonstone from every mermaid. willing or not they would be killed. They soon did so but the few mermen and mermaids that were mates feared for their children and flea to safety. Many were slaughtered, even children. After a day of slaughter the sea had waves of crimson red. there wasn't a mermaid in sight. Nor existing…. Or so they thought.
