3 Familiarity

Matheus breathing increase and decrease, he was relieved that his cousin Draco was still alive. I'm glad I made it on time. He looked around to see if he could find something they need. I need to find food and shelter in case he wakes up. Why is this place very familiar to me? Have I been in here before?

He clears his mind and make his way towards the forrest. There should be some trees in here that is source of food. He started gathering woods. He gather as much as wood, he decided to build a shelter for the two of them. After finishing, he gather more wood to use as firewood to they won't feel cold at night. After walking for some time, he saw a tree bearing fruits. Peach and Pear tree, this could be useful to them to ease their hunger. He found more fruits in bushes, blackberries, serviceberries, lignonberries, elderberries, blueberries. Now what I need to find is water. He walks farther, he seen some spring of water. He rushed towards that place. The water was so clear, it is safe to drink.

He took the bottle cap and filled it with spring water. This should be enough for two days. He went back to where he built their shelter. After placing all the things he found, he went to get his cousin. He saw him moving, he's awake, a smile curve on his face as he walked towards him to help him get up.

"How are you feeling?" he directly question him, he could see he was surprised to see him.

"I'm feeling better now, but I'm hungry. I'm so glad to see you Matheus." he smiled as he shed tears.

"You're safe now, everything is okay." he comfort him, it was a relief. He survived from the demise. "Let's go, come with me I've prepared us food."

They walk together towards the forrest where he built their shelter. As he led him there, he feel like someone is watching him. He look around but he saw no one. Maybe it's nothing, he shrugged and continue walking.

When they arrive, he help him sit down since he had hard time walking.

"How did you know I'm here?" Draco asked him. They are eating while talking.

"I couldn't sleep last night, then I heard a loud explosion. I rent a boat, and saw there's a black smoke in this direction. That's why I found you." Matheus explained to Draco.

"Ohh so that's why. I really thought no one will come rescue. Did you find the others?" He asked him again.

"No, it's only you that I saw. What exactly happened to you and your friends?" I really wanna know what happened.

He began to narrate what happened that night. It was quite a long story. Draco said that they heard a song, his friend, the one stirring the wheel, sail the yatch towards the rocky shore. Then the yatch got hit on a big rock, Draco jump before the loud explosion.

"It was a good thing you survive. We're like brothers, I can't afford to loose you. I've already lost dad."

"You still could not forget what happened to uncle? It was five years ago, forget the past and live on the present."

Matheus sighs and shake his head. It's hard to forget about it when all his uncle blame him. He didn't even want that to happen. After his mother died giving birth to him. It was his father left to take care of him.

He question himself, what did I do wrong? Why God take my parents away. He smiled bitterly and drink some water.

"We will stay here for a few days, when you heal we will go home."

Draco nod in response.
