1 A Sunny Afternoon

In the Shopping mall.

A young woman was carrying shopping bags full of clothes, garnering stares from every passerby. Immune to the stares of jealous girls and smitten guys, she walked to a sleek car in the parking lot. As she started the car, her phone rang, and the caller was listed as 'Brooke'. So she put the phone on the speaker while driving towards her destination.

"Hey, Emma are you back yet? We are having a high school reunion at the beach tomorrow! Will you be attending? I know you hate these kinds of social gathering however, it is important to socialize more! So please accompany your best friend there, okay?"

She is Emma Chen with silky black hair, peach blossom eyes, skin as translucent as jade, and soft, pink lips. Emma paused shortly, mulling over her decision and asked, "... All right; I have nothing scheduled tomorrow anyways."

Emma's best friend replied cheerfully with, "Great! I finally get to see you after two years. You have no idea how much I missed you these two long years, of course, some of our classmates as well! See you tomorrow at the beach!" and then ended the call.

After the call, Emma rolled down the window, allowing the refreshing sea breeze to dance with her hair. Enjoying the warm sunshine, she finally arrived at her destination in thirty minutes.

It was a grand villa in European style made of weathered marble. She parked in the big garage next to her sister's car. Emma walked out in her low high heels and opened the door.
