6 Ch 6 On the road

Chapter 6

I've been on the road for 2 weeks in the caravan. The merchants are good company though they seem confused as to why a 13-year-old child wishes to travel to Nepal.

When I told them it was to learn magic they scoffed and probably assumed I was crazy.

Other than hiding the gamer system I'm not too interested in keeping secrets anymore.

I was never that good of an actor and I never got any skills relating to it.

While I was traveling I entertained myself by Sculpting wooden statues of characters from the future such as Captain America or hulk. My inventory is full of wood for fires and sculpting.

I'll try to sell them later, I hope Shield or someone else finds them one day being confused as fuck, I signed them as The Mandarin.

In the Shang Chi movie, Xu Wenwu seemed offended by the name because it was based on the Chinese food dish, but I always liked the name so I'm taking it.

While the merchants chatted away I heard hushed sounds coming from the forest ahead of us to the right.

It could be bandits. I ready myself for a possible attack.

Suddenly 8 men with swords and spears rush in front of the carriage and 4 cover our back.

"Give us all of your v-" before the bandit could even finish his sentence I threw daggers at him and 3 others hitting them in their necks.

The bandits all panic as pandemonium breaks out. I manage to kill 2 more before they wise up and start attacking me.

The closest of the remaining 2 bandits come at me with a sword in hand I parry the sword with a dagger I just summoned to my hand

I kicked him away, I could hear the sound of another bandit from the 4 behind me who was about to charge me with a spear.

I quickly spin around and guide his spear forward into the bandit that I kicked away. I then slit his throat with one quick movement.

I throw another dagger at the last bandit attacking from the front and turn to face the remaining 3 bandits.

They stand still frozen in fear they turn to run but that makes them even easier to hit. I threw 3 more daggers hitting them all in the head with enough force to pierce their skulls.

Gamers' Mind seemingly keeps me from freaking out over the 12 deaths on my hands.

Ding Level up

Seems killing people is a much better way to level up. However I have no interest in becoming a mass murder, there will be plenty of bad guys in 6 centuries so I'm in no rush.

As I went around picking up my thrown daggers the merchants all looked around stunned. The head merchant spoke up.

"Yang thank you very much for saving us, we didn't know you were so strong"

"Well I need to be strong if I'm going climb the mountains of Nepal to learn magic" I said as I laughed

After that, we continued on our journey. Interestingly enough one of the merchants Dong Long seemingly believed me about the magic asking questions about it.

I told him that there are sorcerers that are hidden from the public that protect the world from unseen threats.

Talking with him was interesting and 1 week later we parted ways in Nan Chang Fu.

Where I took a boat to travel down the river towards Tibet and eventually Nepal.

1 year later

With one of the fights against bandits, I finally found out about injures and healing when a bandit fired an arrow into my shoulder.

After killing him and the rest of his bandit friends I pulled the arrow out and bandaged the wound, I had seen others do this after bandit attacks.

Likely due to 20 END my body healed faster than I would expect for a human but much slower than a gamer.

It took about 1 and a half months to fully heal due to my RES I could push through the pain and keep traveling. I'm not looking forward to getting more injured

I arrived in Tibet in a city on the outskirts of the country where I finally put on the silk tang suit that mother had given to me, and I look so badass.

I don't know much of Tibet other than the portal to Kun-Lun where the Iron fist is from lies somewhere here in the Himalayan mountains.

Maybe once I'm immortal I'll come to visit to learn about chi, but for now, I'll be heading to Lhasa the capital where a river runs all the way to Nepal.

I have learned that Tibet is not that large so if I narrow down the search area to somewhere in the mountains I'll be able to find it relatively quickly.

I have also heard rumors of a powerful organization called the Ten Rings across my travels of China.

They are apparently recruiting skilled fighters, maybe I should apply and then sneak attack him as one of his soldiers.

A new skill I've focused on is animal taming. I did this by feeding birds and foxes and trying to get them to listen to me.

Taming LVL 13

I currently have 3 Swallows following me in trying to get them to be my scouts but I've failed so far.

As I sail down the river I ask questions about legends of temples high up in the mountains where you can be taught strange abilities.

One man told me of one such place but it wasn't Kamar-Taj or Kun-Lun but a place where apparently the monks could transform their bodies into colored smoke.

I couldn't remember this in any of my MCU knowledge or small comics knowledge. But as an explorer, I will investigate after I get access to magic portals.

Funnily enough, when I first started saying I'm an adventurer or explorer it was just to justify my trip to Nepal to my family, but now I'm getting into it.

If this does work I think I will journey around the world, maybe visit Wakanda or Atlantis that would be fun.

To that end, I've started keeping a journal that's chronicling my adventures without mentioning my gamer system.

As well as describing Thanos invading in the future that way if I die maybe it can help others rise up to do what I failed.

8 months later

20 months after I first set out I arrived in Kathmandu Nepal. I leveled up 5 times finally getting the 5 stat points every other gamer gets at level 2.
