Prologue

"Where were you ?!" Her sound resonated throughout the mansion. But what did he know he was young. To be exact he was only four. And now you may ask what happened? Well here is the thing, the poor boy sneaked out of his house. Why? Because he was never let outside. He'd watch children running and laughing and playing. He wondered why is that they would laugh. He'd sit hours staring outside of the window if it wasn't for his mom calling him. He knew that normally parents of children of his age would take them out for playing. He knew those children would be showered with love and affection. But he? He never experienced those blissful moments. The only thing he remembers is being yelled at by his parents. He didn't even know what it was for. Why? Because he was the sweetest little boy one could ever find. Kids of his age would usually goof around having fun while he would be their calm and collected. Having guests everyday is quite not fun is it? When these so called guests come he would be like a good kid he is and help them around. Everyone who met him would go all crazy over him because of his sweet nature. But then again he would be yelled at. He never understood why. And here we are again. Being yelled at. But this time it was different. It felt Awesome? Exhilarating? He didn't know. He knew that whatever this feeling was it was good. Because he knew the cause of why he is being yelled at. And other than that he got to know the world outside. It was beyond what he imagined. It was beautiful. Ryu knew he belonged there.

"I asked you a question Ryu! Answer!" she continued to shout. "I went outside mom. I wanted to see what was over there. It looked soo beautiful from here, so I wanted to see it up close." A sudden rush of confidence finding its way to his mind. He always used to stutter. He was scared of evrything and anything. So he wouldn't talk much with people. This incident right now made everything here to go on a different route. His mom gasped. "What did you say?! Going outside?! Who told you you could go outside? You aren't allowed to go without anyone escorting you and you are not yet the age to go out! What where you even thinking, huh?!" He kept quiet. He didn't want to argue. What is the use of that? He mom stomped out of the room. He slowly walked towards his bedside, sitting on its edge remembering what all he saw out there. He wanted to go ou't there again. He decided that he will. For sometime he has to remain quiet though. He don't want everyone keeping an eye on him so that he won't sneak out again...

Ryu Harris, the only son of one of the most prominent business tycoons of the world, was a half Japanese and half American. Since young he was trained to be a perfect heir to the empire. Being homeschooled wasn't any better. He wanted friends. He had read about those, he was fascinated by the fact that friends wouldn't want anything in return unlike the people around him, who expect many things from him. He wanted friends soo badly. He was one of the most intelligent child one would see. He understood most of the matters that an adult should understand at a very young age. He was straight 'A-ranked' in every subjects. He understood the concepts of degree courses at twelve, which was pretty amazing which got him skip many classes to the top. This was the time when he first got access to the internet. Slowly slowly he started to understand that he can make friends via internet. Although a computer was inconvenient, having no other electronic gadgets he continued the use of the computer to chat with different types of people. Some where older than him while others where younger. Most kids whom he met online where teenagers. It was fun talking to them. He's found everyone cool and awesome. He subtly started envying them too. After almost half a year later he found his best buddies. Ofcourse online. There where two girls and two boys. The girls being Natalie and Vennesa. The boys being Victor and Sean. He found out that they lived near his house. He again got out of the house without getting caught. There was this particular time when anyone came to check on him. He was let of around the time of one to four. He usually sneaked out during this time mostly to see that one thing he found out when he was young.

He still remember how beautiful it was when he found it. He also started playing over there. Which caused him to like his favourite season winter. He would go out there to play every time when winter approached. The lake that is. Because it would be frozen at that time. Which allowed him to skate over it. He want this season to last forever. He knew it wasn't possible. Still he didn't stop those thoughts finding its way into his mind. He started thinking about magic. Like in those animes and cartoons. Just only if he could. He tried to do some magic? Well that's not how it works boy! Still he didn't stop trying. He started doing exercises. Working out. Waking up early. Jogging in his garden. Going to thee gym in his house. It is usually used by his father, but he is even more busy nowadays that he's can't find time for the workouts. Ryu would wait lift and what not. He just wanted to become stronger. It's not like being four matters for becoming strong. And then he'd go out, near the lake and sit there for long admiring the view, occasionally trying to do some magic. This went on until one day. He was sitting under the tree staring into the lake. He was trying to get the image of water into his head. Suddenly a small droplet of water fell from the tip of his finger. He couldn't explain the feeling. He was in extreme joy. C'mon, the poor boy had been at this for almost an year. No one can blame him. After jumping around for an hour or so it was time get home. Until he saw this man over the corner, in the shadows.
