PART I: ORIGINS, THE BIRTH OF A CADET

That morning when I decided to become a Marine, I woke up like every day but there was something different, a feeling of interest in the sea, of knowing it from the eyes of a military man, it was as if the sea itself was calling me, a sign. From that day on I knew for sure that my destiny was to be a Marine, and I didn't want to wait; When my best friend, who was now my brother (he knew everything about me and I knew everything about him) found out that I wanted to be a captain in the navy, he didn't hesitate for a second to support me, after processing the papers and some exams, I had to wait 6 months for the test that would define if I would enter the academy, I felt very anxious and every day that passed he did not stop instilling in me the knowledge about it and telling people how much I cared about my dream.
