_Did it increase my strength by 2 or 3? Or maybe I've been strong all this while?_ Morningstar thought as he couldn't help but recall all those hard works his uncle pressured him to do even without nourishing him for days.

Just then...

*Grrrrrowl*

About 400 Zombies with salivas dripping from their mouths appear. Each of them has sharp fingernails that can rip apart human skin.

At the sight of them, everyone couldn't help but tremble in fear. How couldn't they recognise such creatures when most of them have watched them in movies?

They are literally called *Zombies* or *Walking Dead!*

At first, they thought the fairy would play a video and teach them what to do but it turns out, it's a tutorial that might end their lives!

"Wh... Why don't we back off slowly? Surely they won't make a move if we don't." One of the females said softly and the others couldn't help but nod in agreement. With that, everyone starts moving backwards.

{Access denied! Only 100 people can leave here!} 

A robotic voice suddenly said and the people moving backwards suddenly felt like an invisible wall was blocking their way. 

"Fuck...! This unfair!"

"How are we meant to defeat those things?!"

The people screamed in utter despair, and some of the weak-willed ones couldn't help but start sobbing.

At that moment someone suddenly pointed out another problem.

"Ahmm, guys? It feels like the wall is pushing us back towards the zombies!"

"Not only us! It's... It's pushing the ZOMBIES towards US!"

Without any expectation of resisting, the people start banging and stabbing their knives at the invisible wall in the hope of finding a way.

Just then, one of them who tried pushing a different section of the invisible wall suddenly fell towards the other part.

"How did you do it?"

"I don't know actually. But I think a road is here."

As soon as they heard those words, another one passed it. Right then a hologram pops up in the air and display

"What does that hologram imply?"

"Let me see." Another one passed the open section.

At this point everyone's countenance changes as they realise the dark truth.

Only a hundred can go and the other hundred must fight.

Suddenly, like a switch being flipped. Everyone made a mad dash towards that section to run out.

Who are they kidding? It's better to run than to face those scary monsters.

"Get out of my way or I stab you to death bitch!"

"You also should get the fuck out!"

"I've had enough of this!"

*Punch*

*Slash*

'Arrrrgggh!!!'

"Oh boy, seems like I won't be able to go out. Why don't I try fighting those things? They look slow to me and with this knife, I might be able to get some unique runes." 

Morningstar said as he looked at the ongoing chaos. He didn't even care about trying to save or advise them. 

_They will figure it out themselves._ With those thoughts he takes a deep breath and starts moving towards the zombies which were already staggering towards them after seeing the chaotic scenes unfolding in the human's place.

From what his future self told him, Low-level Zombies can't see in the daytime so they relied on smelling living things to attack.

With such thought, Morningstar who felt his heart thumping from excitement lifted his knife in a crude manner and stabbed it several times right into one of the zombies which was close to him.

Right then, a rune and a 1.5-meter crude spear dropped.

_Now this is what I wished for! It will help me keep a safe distance._ Morningstar thought as he quickly picked up the spear and absorbed the rune.

His stamina increased a bit from that rune. Just then, one of the zombies pounced on him. Catching him off guard. As they both tumble down. Morningstar struggle and pluck the knife into its skull. Killing it and obtaining another rune.

With his newfound stamina. Morningstar didn't feel out of breath but rather energised. With his spear in his hand, Morningstar went after those slow zombies one by one. Although not all of them dropped runes or skills. But with the ones he got. His stats rose slowly.

Those who saw a student fighting against zombies with utter disregard for death couldn't help but have second thoughts especially when they saw him picking runes.

At this rate half of them will die, not by the zombies but by themselves. Why not kill zombies and get strong? Besides, they look so feeble that even a student could kill them.

With greed for runes as motivation. They start fighting. They each held two daggers but that alone didn't comfort them. 

"Fuck this! I will fight these zombies!" One man said and dashed into the crowd of zombies only to get ripped apart.

But that didn't discourage others as everyone dashed towards zombies and started fighting. With this, the pressure on Morningstar got weakened and he even used some humans as shields. He will attack, kill and retreat. Although he sustained injuries but those weren't comparable to what he received from his uncles and those school bullies.

"Arrgh! Help me!"

"It's biting me!"

"Don't... Don't come closer!"

"Mommy! I want to go home! Wuuuwuuuwu!"

And so chaos descends on the battlefield.

Due to how fast, Morningstar stabs zombies and kills them in a single shot all thanks to him knowing their weak points. The battle closed earlier than expected. He alone was able to kill about 120 zombies despite it being his first time.

The exhausted people couldn't help but shiver in fear when they remembered Morningstar's act of fighting the zombies madly.

Some even back away from him in fear of him attacking them for runes.

_What kind of student kills so easily and doesn't even feel tired?_ 

Some of them thought.

Just then, the fairy appeared out of tin air.

"Congratulations on surviving, the invisible wall has been removed! You all exceeded my expectations. Now I hope you know what to do from now on. Fight or die! That's the rule and good luck!" 

With those words, it vanishes again.

_What a tiny freaking bastard of a fairy._ Some cursed inwardly out of frustration.

Some stood up and started wandering around aimlessly.

Morningstar with a curious look opens his stats panel.

Speed: 9.5

Stamina: 11.5

Perception: 10.5

_Although it's not that big, but number is number._

His future self told him that for starters, speed runes are the best. Sadly, it's hard to get one.

Thinking about his future self. He couldn't help but remember some images of a hidden dungeon located somewhere in this bus station. If, only if he can complete it, then he might even be ahead of everyone in terms of strength.

The difficulty of clearing the dungeon is high, but one thing for sure is, the rewards are very enticing.

"Should I attempt or leave it?" The truth was, Morningstar didn't even have the guts to attempt it but knowing that a mysterious being would wipe out all humans in a while, he couldn't help but have that urge to get strong. Even if he might not be able to beat that being at least going down with a tough fight won't be hard right?

_Let me set my goal for now. Go into each dungeon, clear it and obtain their rewards._

With such thought, he snapped awake and decided to head for the station. Right at that moment, a ruckus suddenly took place among the crowd. Curious, Morningstar looked at them and clicked his tongue.

"Why are you blocking my path?"

"I want to move alone not with you guys!"

"You're not going anywhere as we need to group together in order to survive!"

"No way am I staying here!"

*Punch*

_Each with his own choice. But sadly only the strong make the rule in such an environment. It will take them a while to realise it._

Morningstar thought as he watched the chaos unfolding among the humans who just finished the battle.

"Hey! Morningstar! Wait up. We coming with you!"

Suddenly four young people dash towards him. Leading them was his cousin's brother who had been cruel and wicked towards him. When his grandmother died. The asshole has collided with his parents to make life a hell for him.

But unlike how you will expect Morningstar to kill him now that he has power.

_Let's just leave him alone. Hopefully, he will change._ 

Following him were two girls and one boy.

One of the girls' beauty was top notch and among the crowd spotting her wouldn't be hard because of how beautiful she is. 

"Beautiful... Hopefully, she has the strength to protect herself against the male hyena. Hehehe" He chuckled.

"Hey, Morningstar! Why pretend like you don't know me your cousin again?! Hmph! Protect me and my friends and when we get home I will make sure to tell Dad to give you a better room and lessen those works he gives you." Jayden let out arrogantly with his chest puffing up.
