1 Let Darkness Bring Light

Somewhere in a Old vast Forest.....

It was late into the night, clouds blocked out the moon which added to the darkness that blanketed the forest. As far as you can see there were massive old trees at least 1000ft tall with 100ft thick trunks, yet at this moment sum of these massive trees where burnt and broken into many pieces. right at the center of all this destruction you could see 8 humans wearing robes of different colors and designs, yet their robes were torn and burnt in different places.

Either because of the darkness of the night or their hoods you could not make out their faces. before the 8 humans stood 2 huge tigers roughly 400ft long and 200ft in height they had silver white fur with golden lighting emblems along their massive body's. At this moment both of these massive silver tigers had wounds along their bodies, yet only anger and vigilance could be seen from their expressions, at this moment one of the robed humans spoke in a deep voice.

"Too find 2 lightning tigers in the beast forest, with one being in the 3rd rank and the other in the middle of ascending to the 4th rank, truly our luck is not small"

At that point another spoke "If it wasn't for this lightning tiger ascending to the 4th rank, even with the 8 of us we wouldn't be able to take them on, this years competition location sure is a blessing"

Then the 4th rank and most wounded lightning tiger actually spoke in a human voice "You damn humans, your greed will be your undoing"

another robed human laughed as he spoke "Sadly the only thing you could keep from your halted half advancement to the 4th rank was your ability to speak if not then we would truly be wary"

With that said neither the 8 humans or the lightning tiger spoke again, the 8 humans began too move and release different arrays of fire, water, ice, wind and earth attack against the 2 tigers. The 2 tigers used their strong legs to jump around using the trees to aid in dodging the attacks, as well as summoning lightning from their bodies to fight of the incoming attacks.

But anyone could see they were losing in the exchange as they accumulated more wounds and while the humans although not being reserved in their attacks they were not reckless.

many different rays of attacks lit up the dark forest from giant fireballs to clear almost invisible air in different shapes of a half wheel, attacked the lightning tigers those that they would dodge burnt or cut these tall tree's in half. Giant holes accumulated everywhere on the ground. Although the lightning tigers fought back viciously they were wounded and out numbered.

As the battle turn from bad to hopeless the 3rd rank lightning tiger growled and communicated something to the 4th rank half step lightning tiger, it wore a resolute expression the rank 4th lightning tiger tried to reason with its partner, but its stance didn't change. the rank 4th lightning tiger had no choice but to accept its partners will. it soon turn around from the battle and try to escape. the humans were a bit surprised but soon divided their forces to chase, yet at this moment a humming sound came from the 3rd rank lightning tiger, lighting shot down from the clouds and the lightning tiger began to glow in golden blue light as its body expanded. soon all the robed humans understood what was taken place yet they couldn't stop it as they had divided their forces, the 5 humans chasing the 4th rank half step lightning tiger realized that they would have to do hold their ground and group their power to defend, yet that would mean letting the 4th rank lightning tiger escape.

Quickly not even 2 seconds passed before they decided to use their most powerful abilities to take it down even if they suffered from the incoming explosion. As the 4th rank lightning tiger ran it could feel the immense power accumulated by its partner and soon he also felt a dangerous sensation behind him, but it didn't come from its partner, rather the humans that wanted to follow it. these humans where so greedy they disregarded part of their magic protection power to claim his life.

Soon a blinding light lit up the most of the forest, and behind it a massive blast echoed through the forest, trees where burnt in an instant as other further from the blast where shredded, the 3 humans cultivators facing the 3rd rank lighting tiger did not come out unscathed from the blast, missing a limb and small burns, yet they were able to layer their strongest defensive spells together in time. As for the 5 that tried to claim the life of the 4th rank half step lightning tiger were worse of even if they were a bit further away, a few of them were missing limbs and vast part of they bodies were burnt to the bone, yet they didn't seem to care as they hurriedly flew towards were the 4th rank lighting tiger was when they launched their spells, but too their misery all they found where 1 of its legs and its tail, yet they did not despair they quickly grouped and began too search, the 3rd rank lightning tigers body was gone they had to get something for their losses.

A few miles away the wounded lighting tiger moved through the air, it's condition was far from good it had lost one of its leg and tail as well as a lot of blood and he wasn't delusional to expect that the humans wouldn't chase him down. he travel as fast as he could he was depressed, yet filled with rage as his partner had self detonated her body and soul so at least one of them would live, yet it didn't seem that even that was possible.

seconds passed then minutes, he could feel himself becoming weaker whether the humans were still chasing him he didn't know and wouldn't risk it yet he would within an hour or so be unable to keep using his magic energy to fly through the forest. He had lost his sense of directions at this point and only kept moving. more minutes passed, yet he didn't stop he was already starting to fly lower his magic power was becoming exhausted. After a few more minutes he could see the trees becoming smaller , this meant he was exiting the beast forest. Where he was going at this point he didn't know, after the constant running he had truly understood his body condition and he knew he wouldn't see the sunlight tomorrow.

He soon left the forest behind he moved fast for a few more minutes, then he saw a broken down village "will this be where it ends" he thought to himself. As he came closer to the village he could see the blood on the ground and buildings, whether it was the humans that killed the villagers or beast he didn't care, he entered what remained of the village. although he could tell the blood wasn't too fresh yet it wasn't old as well. As he limped through the village everything was deadly quiet, a desolate place. "you sacrificed yourself for nothing" with a bitter tone and full of hatred and rage he mumbled.

Yet at this moment he heard a small cry coming from deeper in the village. He followed the small cries, soon he came up to a small hut surrounded by hay stacks, he could clearly hear the cries now it was a human child. He took the roof of the hut and in the center laid a small frail child no older then 10 months old, seems either he hid here or his parents hid him either way alone in this world his fate was death. "so i will not die alone after all" the tiger sign.

He moved the child from the hut, the child didn't stop crying he didn't even seem to notice what was happening. "death is coming for us both little one, humans killed my partner and soon i will die too, and its seems humans killed your family too. now isn't that funny little one" the tiger said as he laid weaken next to the boy. "Yet I'm unwilling to just die little one, and let does humans win" angered filled his body but he couldn't do anything now. "say boy, if you had the power would you seek revenge for your parents, would you seek revenge for this miserable tiger" the small child only kept letting out cry's yet they were begin to become softer as energy and life where leaving him.

The Tiger hesitated for a few seconds before saying "I'm unwilling to die just like this boy, you will have to suffer for the both of us in the future". At this moment an increasing amount of blood stared flowing from the lighting tiger towards the small child on the ground. when the Lighting tiger had step into the 4th rank if only for a moment besides unlocking his speech capability he had as well unlock the inheritance from his bloodline, his lighting tiger race was descended from a heavenly lighting tiger. A lighting tiger could sacrifice part of its blood essences and soul to strengthen its descendants bloodline and soul, yet to be done on a human child this would most likely be the first time as the lighting tiger had to willingly sacrifice part of its being and it also was not meant to be used on humans.

"whether you survive is up to your destiny little one" soon the tiger glowed in a faint golden blue light which then floated onto the small child along with its blood essences.

"I will give you my power, my hatred, and my destiny, survive for the both of us little one" soon the tiger closed its eyes falling into an eternal slumber, its body fell apart not much was left but a dried husk and its bones.
