Preface :)

Hi!! So the whole point of this book is to get more people to Christ and to help lukewarm Christians realize that they are no better than atheists, I would know. A few months ago I was a lukewarm Christian and I'm still struggling with that and I definitely wouldn't judge anyone who is or anyone who doesn't believe so I'd love to hear your opinions on God, I'll try to change your mind. As I mentioned, I am still trying to figure out my relationship with Christ which means I'm hoping to figure it out and help anyone along the way.

I am not perfect and I am definitely far from good for God is the only one who holds both those titles but I am hoping to be better, so in order to bring people closer to an unconditional love only God can provide, I'd love to hear some topics you'd like me to discuss or some verses because I've found that the Bible is very effective especially when we take the time to understand God through his word.

I probably decided to work on my relationship with Jesus in either May or April and it was all because of TikTok, that's showed me that God is trying to reach out to us and we should listen. He left the ninety-nine (refer to Matthew 18:12), that should show you how important you are to Jesus, that shows us that He loves us even when we didn't deserve a single drop of the blood he shed for us or the knowledge and love he left with us to share with everyone in the world. Back to the point, God was trying to send me a message and I listened as best as I could. I saw all these videos about lukewarm Christians and I could probably relate to every single one of them. I was not a real Christian, I believed in God but my actions, my heart, my life didn't reflect that. I didn't have a relationship with Jesus Christ nor did I really acknowledge what he did for me and as you will come to know, He is the only way to God. I never read my Bible, it was just a prop to me, not only that but I was so comfortable in my sin and disappointing God time and time again. I was even comfortable with ending up in hell mostly because I thought to myself why should I even try, it's to hard to give up sin when you enjoy it. The worst part about it was, i thought I was a good Christian, I never once considered myself a lukewarm but I only prayed when I wanted something from Him which was incredibly selfish on my part and yet He didn't stop loving me, He never gave up on me and I've learned not to give up on Him.

I'd love to leave the names of the tiktokers so you can watch their videos, at the end because I'm not really a professional at this, I'm new to this but I'm sure their videos will help. To live as a real Christian is to be so different that the world thinks you're alien and to hate sin. No human can ever fully give up sin, but Jesus died to take on God's wrath instead of us, Jesus died so that you'd have the chance to go back to God no matter what how much you've sinned. Jesus died so that we could be forgiven and He expects us to take advantage of His love for us.

We must deny ourselves and take up our crosses just as Jesus did. This means we need to live to impress God, we must live up to His standards and sacrifice a lot, basically if Jesus wouldn't do it, you probably shouldn't. Christ must be your example and you mustn't obsess over earthly things because you're basically putting these things before our Lord and savior. God is love, anyone who comes to Him with good intentions, whoever wants to know Him better will find Him. To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm doing a good job at denying myself but I'm trying to figure it out with the help of God.

God can and will take away your suffering, He will make you happier, He will heal you if you just ask. I wasn't one to ask anyone for help not even God because I thought I deserved all that I got and I probably did but God didn't care, God made me a happier person, God brightened my life and gave me a purpose. God made me a better person and He gave me a purpose. He made me feel content, He showed me the He doesn't make mistakes, He loves me the way I am and that's really all that should matter because he literally made me. I'm content with myself because I finally asked for some help, we cannot do much good without God's help.

God will bring you through the toughest of times whether you believe that or not is up to you. He will love you and all He desires is for you to have a relationship with Him, the only way to do this is by first having a relationship with Jesus Christ. A good place to start that foundation is with the Bible, I recommend starting with Mark or any of the gospels. God is real and one day it's going to be too late for you to start believing. Let's not forget, God isn't a teddy bear God's wrath is nothing to be messed around with, hell isn't fun, it's not a party. Hell is eternal suffering, if you can't handle standing under the sun for more than five minutes, then what makes you think you can handle hell. The devil is the master of deceit, satan isn't the lucifer you see on tv. He doesn't care about you and he never will. He is cunning and quite able to lead anyone into sin no matter how righteous you may think you are, he is not fun, he is a spiteful liar and we shouldn't give in to his tricks.

We are so blinded by the world that we don't understand how loved we are, we really should be more appreciative. All of God's wrath is justified, that means being able to preserve your anger for centuries, that means loving the every single person on this earth despite our sin, that means being completely holy while watching all of your creation be anything but. God's wrath doesn't stop Him from loving us unconditionally and just like Him we should not be stopped from loving every single person regardless of their sins or actions.

God is angry and He has every right to be, but if you apologize and start living the way Christ would want you to live, you will be spared from His wrath but rather rewarded with eternal life. Jesus has given us all the instructions on how to get to heaven, it's up to us to choose to follow those instructions.

God is perfection, perfection deserves to be worshipped. We should not be worshipping our phones or praising random people we should save all that for God because at the end of the day, it wouldn't satisfy us but a relationship with God, having a conversation with God and feeling like you truly have someone listening and comforting you every step of the way is satisfying. I once heard that if you're craving something that's not there, If you can't quite put your finger on what it is that you really desire, if you feel empty, only God can fill that vacuum and make you whole again.

So if any of you are interested in a relationship with God, you need to start with the Bible, I'll leave a link below and prayer is another good way to start, whether you have prayed before or not. It's just like having a conversation with God, it can even start with a hi. Ask God to help you and watch some of the videos on TikTok or YouTube.

1 Peter 5:7..... "Cast all your anxieties out on Him for He cares for you."

Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NRSV-CI.... "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose."

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NRSV-CI.

I use a Bible app but that doesn't really matter, just take notes if you're using an actual Bible, it will help you understand God's word and if you need help interpreting a chapter ask for God to bless you with the knowledge to understand God's word. About religion, I'm Catholic (and yes, I'm a real Christian) I don't believe anything that contradicts the Bible and religion doesn't determine your relationship with God, relationship is more important than religion. God calls upon us to be His Church there's a difference between being His church and going to church but you should definitely go. Believing in God will never be enough. We are saved by faith through grace, this basically means because of God's grace we were given His son who made the ultimate sacrifice that we may have faith in Him and His sacrifice. We are only saved by faith but this does not mean that we should continue to live in sin because that will only lead us to hell.

I'd love to hear your opinions and any questions. I promise I'll reply. I'm always here to talk through my private messages or if you want, I can leave my Instagram handle so you can dm me, just let me know.

God loves you whether you like it or not. Hope this helped.
