116 Chapter 108 - After The Incident.

Chapter 108

It was the night after La Folia's incident. Because of the incident, the party will continue tomorrow before I go back to Japan. Naturally, there is no need to rerun the party but it seems La Folia's gift which I don't know what was extremely important. Therefore, she wants to give it in front of everyone.

La Folia Rihavuain, the princess of Aldegyr Kingdom. Besides being a princess, she has another identity that as important or even more important which is a Hime-Miko. Moreover, a powerful one who can channel a god that lent her its ability. And this ability is called Divine Possession.

Each Hime-Miko has a different power for example Future Telling for Alice, Divine Possession for La Folia, and Spirit Vision for Sayanomiya Kaoru. Incidentally, there are two other Hime-Miko in Japan whom I haven't met.

One of them is Seishuuin Ran's granddaughter who is going to be my knight as she requested before. Still, except for the fact that she is a Hime-Miko, I didn't know what her power is. Meanwhile, I still don't know the other one.

At any rate, I looked at La Folia who was sleeping soundly in a room at Alice's mansion. Her pale face has been healed by me and right now she is as healthy as before. However, she still needs to rest because possessed by a god took a toll on her mental strength too.

"Don't worry, she will be okay after resting." I casually said to the worried King and Queen of Aldegyr Kingdom.

"Thank you very much, Lord Kitahara." The King bowed his head and said with his expression expressing intense gratitude toward me.

"Yes, I can't imagine living without our only daughter. Therefore, thank you very much, Lord Kitahara." The queen also has the same expression as the King as she bowed her head.

"You are welcome. It is my promise to protect you all from a heretic god after all. Anyway, you need to know that it is unlikely that the god became a heretic by his own will." I thoughtfully said. Hearing that, the King and Queen looked at each other and shakes their head.

"I am very sorry, Lord Kitahara. We didn't know who might do that to our daughter." The King answered with a worried tone. It can't be helped, knowing there is someone who could do that except Divine Ancestor Guinevere would make them worry about their daughter.

"There is no need to worry about that too. He won't do this anymore, my intuition told me so. Still, do you know a man with tanned skin, golden eyes, and white hair?" I asked. The King looked at the Queen who shook her head.

"We are very sorry, Lord Kitahara. But, knowing he won't do that anymore made us relieved." The King apologetically said then stroked his chest relievedly.

"Alright. Anyway, you said she was late because she is making something for me? I wonder what is it?" I casually asked to change the topic.

"For that, I think our daughter wants to tell and give it herself, Lord Kitahara." The Queen smiled and said as she tenderly looked at the sleeping La Folia.

"I am sure you will like it, Lord Kitahara. It needs her a month using the power of God to make it after all." The king added with a smile.

"Well, I am looking forward to what she made using the power of Hephaestus." I smiled and said.

The god that lends its power to La Folia is the famous divine blacksmith, Hephaestus. Hephaestus himself hasn't awakened as a heretic god but he allowed La Folia to channel his power as a divine blacksmith causing her able to make strong magic swords.

That's most likely what she will give to me. However, a normal magic sword doesn't need a month to make as she can casually make it. That's why this one might be more amazing than that.

According to Alice, La Folia was able to channel Hephaestus's power because of a miraculous encounter with the hammer of Hephaestus which they found at a ruin in Athens.

Naturally, not all people can even use it. For other people, the hammer was just a normal hammer until La Folia touch it. And the moment she touches it, she got the permission of Hephaestus to use his power.

Of course, she doesn't need to use the hammer to use the power, nevertheless, the channeling process would be more smooth with the hammer. Still, the problem is the hammer itself was destroyed, or should I say absorbed as an authority of mine.

"At any rate, I am going to Alice's chamber now. Please let her rest and hope she could attend tomorrow party because I am interested to meet the healthy her." I smiled and said.

"Understood, Lord Kitahara!" The King and Queen smiled and said. I nodded and about to teleport to Alice's room but I stopped as there is one thing I want to ask.

"Oh before that, is here a member of your family that went missing about 16 years ago?" I asked.

"As far as I know, we don't have one." The King shook his head and said with a confused face.

"I see...Anyway, see you later."

Right now I am sitting in Alice's bed with a hammer in my hands. The hammer was brown with fiery red lines surrounding it. Yes, this hammer is the hammer of Hephaestus that became one of my authorities.

Alice didn't ask why it became my authority as it is natural that a Campione usurped an authority after killing a god. Alice also didn't ask about the change of color which means this is the real color of the hammer.

The hammer wasn't black like yesterday. This shows that the black color was what made the god, Hephaestus almost became a heretic god.

"This hammer was actually black when La Folia used it yesterday," I said while inspecting the hammer in my hands. Hearing that, Alice tilted her head for a bit before widened her eyes as if understanding something.

"You mean... The god didn't intentionally possess La Folia?" Alice asked with a shocked expression.

"Indeed... Don't you think it's weird that Hephaestus that lend his power to La Folia for years suddenly goes berserk and about to become a heretic god?" I nodded and said.

"When you said it like that, that's true... But who? I don't think there is someone who has a grudge against La Folia or her family who can do that..." Alice said with a thoughtful expression.

"The problem is, that's not the reason why he did it. The man likely only did that to test my power. And yes, I did saw him. Although only an illusion made by magic, my intuition told me that's without a doubt his real appearance." I said.

"Still, I am very intrigued by his expression when he looked at me. The man was looking at me with a hopeful expression. He had even bowed his head before he went away. It seems like he wanted me to do something but he can't say it because of a reason.

In addition, the thing that made the hammer black wasn't the work of magic. It's like divine power but more evil. I also believe this black mass-like power wasn't the man's power. Most likely the power of something that made him can't act as he wants." I explained the things I saw and my assumptions to Alice.

"Evil Divine Power, black mass-like... With only these clues I can only think this is the work of an evil god. And probably a strong one based on how a bit of its power can make a god who hasn't become heretics fall like that.

But as far as I know, there is no evil god that has that kind of power to even made a god became a heretic. Even the divine ancestor Guinevere can only awaken the one that already exists because of the holy grail in her hand." Alice answered.

'Evil God, huh... If it's an outer god, I have one in my home that loves pancake.'

"I see... Well, it seems that evil god cannot appear in a while. Because if it can just show itself and wreck the world before getting killed by a Campione." I casually said to lighten the atmosphere.

"....That's true. Oh right, how about the appearance of the man?" Alice chuckled after hearing what I say and then asked.

"The man has a quite handsome face, tanned skin, a pair of golden eyes and white hair. He also wears white magician robes combined with red ornaments on his waist and shoulders." I said.

"Hmm... Alright, I will order some people to look for it." Alice said after thinking for a bit.

"Okay, I will wait for the news. And now, shall we sleep?" I smiled and said after retracting the hammer.

"Nn!" Alice nodded with a smile on her face.

I laid down on the bed with Alice right beside me. She tightly hugged my body and laid her head on my shoulder. Then, I looked at her and kissed her forehead as I also hugged her body.

"Good night, Hime-chan," I said with a smile.

"Good night, Izumi." Alice smilingly said after pecking my cheek.
