“What the hell is happening here?” A loud voice echoed in the room jerking me from my dreams. I slowly opened my eyes but felt something on my face. It was an arm so I followed it and saw Michaela sleeping soundly next to me with her limbs scattered in all directions. I removed her arm from my face then saw my eldest cousin standing with her baby in her arms next to the bed.

“Morning Harper.” I greeted her then turned to look at the clock. Alarm immediately set in when I saw that it was nearly half past nine.

“Explain all this.” She instructed me while I hurriedly got out of bed.

“Not now. I need to get dressed. Go start your car.” I quickly went to the cupboard and began putting on clothes that were ‘decent’ enough to wear to Henri’s office.

“What are you doing just standing there?” I saw that she wasn’t moving and just stood in place watching me.

“Waiting for an explanation.”
