9 The Encounter 2

As soon as the news of Mr Richards arrest got to the ears of Mr Obama. he got so furious and angry that he almost destroyed his office so he immediately called his most competent boys to look into the matter and report back to him in 2 hours but after the lapse of the 2 hours his boys came up with nothing. He he was that the whole thing was clean and there was nothing he could get his anger reduced so he thought it might be me work of another rival or company whom Mr Richard has offended because according to the police report it was said that they were anonymously tipped about the information so no one knew the identity of the secret informant so he immediately called his so Kelvin to keep a tight leash on his daughter who has been in their custody for a long time.

At the same time William received a call from his father which was a rare occasion because his father rarely calls him or his brother because of his guilt so when William as been of age to take care of himself and his younger brother, he left them the company and resigned to live a secluded life not interrupting their lives except on rare and important situation such as this. In fact the brothers will sometimes forget that they have a father if not for Williams constant reminder Stephen could care less about their because William was the only father he knew, took care of him loved him like and father or mother would so he would gladly go to any length for him even if he asked him for his life he will gladly give it to him.

When Mr Felix heard his son's voice after a long period of time he got emotion and he was short of words but he quickly composed him self and replied.

Hello son, I heard what happened to your Uncle is it your doing?

William felt a little bit disappointed but he didn't allow it to show in his tone. Father if this is the reason why you called then am sorry but you give me no choice to cut this call. Immediately he said that his father Quigley apologized.

His father paused for a moment before he spoke. Actually I want to thank you and apologize for the way I treated you and your brother. I know I don't deserve to be call your father but am grateful for all you have done for this family and the company, I just want you to know that what ever decision you make in regards to your uncle am in full support because he deserve to punished I am just too weak and gullible to do anything against him back then which even made him continue with his atrocities.

William listened carefully to his father but he did not respond nor interrupt him until he finished what he had to say. Father am sure you had your reasons for doing what you did and whatever those reasons were. I don't want to know nor neither do I care but I will consider what you have said.

Goodbye father. William dropped the call and continued going the the documents he was reading before his father's call came in.

Meanwhile Taraji was busy preparing for her meeting with Stephen which she as already agreed to go, it is better she at least hear what he has to offer her than to turn a blind eye and later regret he decision so at exactly 8pm she got out of her house to board a taxi to meeting place. Because the traffic was not much she got to the garden the paid the taxi driver and went it.

Immediately she stepped into the garden her phone rang, checking her phone she saw the private number again calling her so she quickly picked. Hello Mr Stephen I am here where are you?

Turn to you left, the last bench by the river where those trees are you will see a white envelope on the bench. There are two documents which have been signed by me in the envelope, one for you and one for me, read it and if your are satisfied with the terms and condition on the document, there is a pen in the envelop sign and keep it back on the bench, go back home I will call you back in the next one hour.

Taraji did as instructed. On opening the documents and seeing the content she almost fainted she was running from an arranged marriage and here she is reading a contract for another arranged marriage to a person she has never meet or spoke to before in her entire life and not only that she will have to get married immediately as the marriage documents are included in the envelop once she decides what to do. she quietly sat down thinking on what to do. Actually as soon as he walked into the garden, Stephen has seen he because the garden belongs to him it was his 21st birthday gift given to him by his brother so the garden is under high surveillance as there are cameras every where so as soon as Taraji picked the documents, he zoomed the camera to capture he facial expression. He felt pity for her because he understood the impact the decision is going to make in her life.
