Taraji just woke up from sleep after having a terrible night mere which as become a daily occurrence, she opened her eyes only to find herself in the bathroom of her tiny apartment in G city, the tiny apartment is one of the apartments in her aunts big mansion where her maids and butlers lives.Taraji has always believed in keeping hope alive despite challenges and living in obvious abject poverty. Being an orphan at the age of 2 and raised by her Aunt, Taraji as been left to experience the other side of life.

Her Aunt Madam Beatrice is actually a well to d business woman in the country but she never took care nor cater for the upbringing of her niece simply because her sister who is Taraji's mother married the man she as being eyeing for quite a long time while they were in the University. Taraji's mother Felicia is a very beautiful, quite and reserved person whom despite her quietness is very intelligent and humble lady while her sister Madam Beatrice also beautiful but the polar opposite of her. Due to her attributes she was highly envied and hated by her sister Beatrice and also loved and cherished by her family. she met and Fell in Love with her husband Liam whom her sister was secretly dying for so after the death of both her parents she was given custody to her Aunt who promised heaven and earth to take care of her in the absence of her parents only to be tortured and maltreated by her aunt.

Taraji looked around her and struggled to stand up to wash her face so she could prepare herself for the days activities as she could not go back to sleep afraid of having the same dream over and over again so she decide to take her bath and head to the main house where her aunt lives with her precious family to start the days activity.

She is employed by her aunt to work as a cleaner in one of her big restaurant in the city because she was a drop out ,she does not have any certificate, education or experience to search for a good job so she begged her aunt to employ her so she could get money to take care of herself while secretly taking an online course in business administration and management unknown to her aunt and her daughters despite the fact that her aunt as kept her on a tight leash and close monitoring.

Taraji is a very strong willed and beautiful girl even though she did not consider herself to be one but her physical attributes states otherwise, taking the beauty of her mother and the strong will and positive attitude of her father, she believes if the keeps on trying and persevering she will come out triumphant but life has other things in store for her. On getting to the restaurant, her Aunt has been waiting for her because she has called her several time but because she was not in the right frame of mind she didn't hear her phone ring. She got to the restaurant and saw her aunt with a weird looking man having a heated conversation.

Taraji what took you so long didn't you see my missed calls on your phone and why didn't you pick your call? Am so sorry aunt, I lost track of time and didn't hear my phone ring. That's OK take your sit. As Taraji took her sit she was secretly eyeing the weird looking man sitting in front of her aunt looking at her, her aunt turned to her and said Taraji, this is Mr Obama
