8 Schemed

Shifting her head upward to look up at the man, Venus curses him for being too handsome that she always act dumb in front of him. (Pfft yes it is his fault, not yours for having a face complex.)

Knowing that she needs to find a way to explain herself, Venus cleared her throat, then introduced, "Hello, my name is Venus Yang!". Then extended her hand for a handshake.

Ace at this time was so enchanted, that he just kept looking at her. Although his face remained stoic, Ace's heart was beating so hard that his workers was panicking.

Underneath Ace's limited edition Audemars Piguet watch, there was a tiny micro chip that was used for his team to monitor his heartbeat and location at all time.

Meanwhile, as the team is panicking, and Ace's being enchanted, Venus felt very awkward thinking that the man before her must have thought that she is crazy as he did not extended his hand.

Disappointed, Venus was about to pull her hand back, when Ace mind came back to the current event and extended his arm to shake with hers.

Then he also introduced himself, "Hello, my name is Ace Liu. Mind explaining what happened gorgeous?".

Ace wanted to slap himself the moment those words left his mouth. He could not believe that he just flirted.

At the same time, hearing the compliment, Venus could feel herself turning red. She was silently thanking herself for putting on make up, if not her whole blushing face would be exposed right then. Which then brought her back to the situation, as she scolded herself silently, "Uhh no, do not tell me the first guy I have liked in 24 years of my life is a player".

Knowing that man is waiting for a respond, Venus then pulled her hand back awkwardly from the handshake. Then started to explain what happened.

While Venus was busy admiring a beauty from across the street, she heard Alice voice from the background.

Following the voice, Venus turned her head to the left, facing the two girls, she responded, "Huh? What did you say?".

Alice then replied, "Nothing, just bored, you both want to bet on something? Winner decide looser's faith".

As the girls often placed bets like this, Venus immediately agreed, last time she won in contract bridge, so the looser, Alice, had to get her a dress designed by Madame Grès. Feeling confident, Venus could not wait for her second dress to come in free.

The three girls whipped out their phone and began to play PUBG. Usually when the girls play, they always come out top one; therefore, they bet to see who's going to kill the most in the game.

Inside the game, every time Venus was about to shoot, Tsuki would distract her with either needing help or better weapons and such. Meanwhile, Alice stole all her kills.

At the end of the game, Venus came out with the lowest kill, making her felt extremely aggrieved.

Feeling soured, Venus looked at Alice and spat "Okay, I lost, what do you want?".

At first, Venus thought Alice just wanted to get revenge for the dress; however, hearing her request, Venus was trying her hardest to not strangle her two sisters.

The request was for Venus to pick a man in a light grey Linen shirt with black Chinos pant, and say "Xiao Ge Ge, you dropped something." Then cup her face like a flower and say "Me, your future wifey!".

Knowing that she had been schemed by her sisters Venus felt extremely wronged, but with no other choice, she walked out of the store to chase the man.

Venus explained what happened, but omitted the part where she was lurking at Ace.

She just say that, she saw him, which made her recall their last night encounter. Being lost in her thoughts, she had zoned out; however, the girl thought it was something else. Which lead them to make the bet, and hence their present situation.

Hearing the story, Ace could not help but felt that Venus was the most adorable girl he have ever met. No wonder her two friends picked on her.

Ace then flashed an understanding smile, which to Venus, it could have lighted up the whole world. Then he said, " Oh so that's the story, it is alright, you don't have to worry, no harm's done right?"

Seeing his smile, Venus mood was also lifted as she responds, " Yeah, also I'm sorry for bothering you, you looked like you were heading somewhere."

Ace then remembers about his dear friend, and said " Oh yeah I need to go meet my friend. I'll see you later gorgeous neighbor.". Then not knowing why, Ace felt very reluctant to let her go, so he added, " Hey, since you three ladies are here, and my two other male friends are coming, do you guys want to have a meal together tomorrow? It'd be nice to get to know my neighbor.".

Venus who was internally sad that Ace had to leave suddenly felt like her sad world was lifted with a mansion of Haute Coutures.

Being too happy, Venus almost squealed, but luckily did not, she gave him a gracious smile, and say " Yeah, we'd like that since we are also running out of ideas on what to do here in London.".

Then Ace smoothly exchanged his contact information with Venus before the both headed to their needed location.
