The next day brought Iben to Louie's doorsteps. Iben was a big man but not so imposing like Louie.Even then there was something in his stare that brought chills down the body of his listener.But this never daunted Louie as he had his own way of making his presence felt.Iben was also handsome with long golden hair tied in a small ponytail at his back.He was wearing a tailor-made suit,even so it was difficult covering his large frame.His face had morning stubbles and it seemed he had many sleepless nights.

"What brings you here Iben"

"Hmm.What,no pleasantries.We met after such a long time.Louie. How are you?"

"Get straight to the point.You are here because of the recent attacks on our packs as well as humans,isn't it?"

Iben had a smile on his face till then but hearing this his face darkened and he nodded.It was a grave issue.For centuries they kept peace with the humans and lived among them.In return they even hunted for rogue vampires who went astray.But that was long time ago,with modern advancements they also had to move forward.They concentrated on their business and led a somewhat normal life.But it seems someone is creating nuisance.

"I know you don't like hunting anymore,Louie.But it has to be done.There are some rogue vampires who are feeding and even killing people.They need to be stopped before humans know about our existence.Otherwise they will come again with their pitchforks,remember",saying this he laughed his heartfelt.

"Hunting makes you happy it seems,I know you never completely left it in all these years.But this time you may be right."

Iben looked insulted, "I never hunt now"

" I am a businessman,but I keep my ears to the ground.Tonight we leave and look for clues in all the places where the bodies are found.But let's start with the first place in the south"

"That's the plan then.I will be taking your leave now."

At midnight both the men were ready to hunt some vampires along with there second in commands.

In the other side of the city a woman dressed in black was already on the prowl for slaying.She and her team mates were all geared up for some nightly adventure.

"Sarah,there is nothing here at this part of the town.Lets start looking from the south"said Gabriel. "If you say so.But I have an ominous feeling that today something will happen"

"It's just your imagination.Lets move if we want to kill some rogues today"commented Zoe.

It was a long time before Louie and Iben felt something.There was a different smell in the air.Louie started feeling uncomfortable and adrenaline rush.Its really been a long time since his last kill.

Suddenly something flashed near their eyes and they were ready for hand to hand combat.Transformation was always the last resort of werewolves as it is a messy affair.And once they are back to their form,always they become naked which is another nuisance to take care of.

Nathan wanted to attack,but Louie wanted to test the waters first to judge their opponents.All at once they found themselves surrounded by five people covered in black.All of them had their weapons drawn.

No one was sure who will make the first move.All of a sudden Iben sniffed the air and declared that all of them are vampires and there is no need to wait.We can finish all at once.His eyes were gleaming with joy.But Louie was rational.Normally rogue do not wait to attack but these people are waiting and synchronized.They are different.

From nearby a loud noise was heard which broke their trance and all of them concentrated on the noise.From the shadows came out four rogue thirsty for blood.Within a second the whole place turned into a battlefield.In the midst of all this Louie realized that the other group were also fighting rogue,that too in an adept manner.This makes them kinsmen,all on the same boat.

One particular person attracted his attention a lot.Her stillhoute was that of a woman,with curves and bossom but her fighting style was that of a man.She had medium length hair tied in a bun and was wearing black jacket with black pants and black boots.There was not a trace of makeup nor any accessories on her.Yet she looked fresh.Louie was mesmerised for a moment.She never felt like this for any woman before.He was so distracted that even Iben had to save him twice.This totally hurt his pride but he could not avert his eyes from the woman.H e heard someone call her Sarah.This piqued his interest and he wanted to know everything about him.

After every rogue was killed the woman thanked them for their help and was about to leave when Louie offered them their help.He wanted to know their whereabouts and their reason for vampire hunting.Sarah was skeptical at first but Gabriel spoke first.They were a group of vampires who took the responsibility of slaying rogues for years.

"Doesn't that make you betrayer"laughed Iben

Sarah looked affronted and replied none of your business.We thank you for the help but no need to comment on our intentions.She had spark in her,this made Louie happy.But he did not like Iben looking at her.He suddenly felt territorial.This was yet another first for him and it was frustrating the hell out of him.He needed a reason to meet her again,so he hatched a plan.

He invited them to his office the next day to discuss the problem at hand and how they can solve the problem together.Iben looked flabbergasted.He did not expect Louei the mighty to take help.But here he was.There is first time for everything.

Sarah took his business card and left with one last lingering look.
