5 Chapter 5 : Finding solutions to the problems.

Third person point of view

The next day, Luke went to see his father in his office. He knocked on the door and entered when he heard a 'come in'. He pushed open the door with much force than usual. He saw his father turn to him as soon as he saw him. " What is it ? " " I don't like this marriage ". Luke said with a deadpan expression, bluntly. " I didn't ask for your opinion. It is not a choice, it is an order ". " Why is it like that ? Why does it have to be that way ? " He was angry and his tone showed it.

His father removed his glasses, massaging his nose bridge and looked directly at him. " You know that your company has not really been in good condition. There are going to be a few collaborations between our companies. It will help you as well. I think you got it, no more unnecessary discussions. Go back to work now ". He turned away to continue his work. Luke understood that there was no more place for argument and decided to leave. He walked away angrily to his cabin. Leo saw the building with the name Elite enterprises, standing tall ahead.

He went to the office, since he decided on meeting Luke's father. The ladies at the reception greeted him when they saw him. The staff has orders from the chairman, that if Leo ever comes, he is allowed to go around without any permission. So they recognized him immediately, because they saw him come a couple of times. The lady at the reception guided him to the elevator. The elevator stopped at one of the top floors. He walked out of the elevator and walked in the direction of the cabin. Leo was walking slowly looking around to find the office. But then he saw a very angry looking Luke walking into a cabin.

Luke clearly angry, walked into his cabin. Leo went to look at him. Luke entered the room and threw things all around the room. He was furious could be an understatement. He removed his jacket and threw it as well. He sat on the couch and fell back taking deep breaths trying to control himself. Leo saw it all from the glass and without even thinking about the purpose he was here, he turned around and left the place. He didn't know why, but didn't feel like speaking to Luke's father anymore and just left the building. He went to meet Jade again at the same place.

As soon as Jade saw him, he put his phone aside. He was curious as to what the result was, but looking at Leo's expression he could guess that something went wrong. " What happened ? Did you speak to him ? " He was curious and couldn't help but ask. He watched as Leo's expression turned more contemplated. " Tell me already ". He was growing impatient. " I went there.." Leo told everything to Jade. Jade laughed at the end. " So you just came back? " Jade scoffed when Leo nodded. " Why did you do that? " " I don't know ". Jade didn't know the reason for the uncertainty in Leo's voice and also his actions from before.

" Do you like this marriage ? " " What the hell Jade!" " Then? What is it ? " Jade couldn't help but exclaim. Now it looked like he was scolding Leo. He shook his head in disapproval at Leo. " Do whatever you want. That was your chance anyway ". Jade immersed himself in his phone after that. Jade really didn't understand why Leo did that. Leo couldn't help but think about it. He should have spoken to him. Since he found out that both of them hate each other, he should have done it. He felt frustrated about it.

Luke tried speaking to his parents a few more times but, there was no use. They just continued insisting on it. He saw his father's secretary and the stats analyst, walk in to his cabin. He looked at him curiously. " Good morning ". Luke just nodded at him. " I have something to show you ". He opened his laptop and put it in front of him. " You know the situation of your company right ? " Luke looked away. " Seems like you do ". Luke turned to look at the screen. It had different statistics of his company. " You might have a clear picture now. So these are the upcoming projects ".

He showed him some slides and also a few other documents. " If we can do these, this will be the change in your company ". He showed Luke the graphs with the changes made. Luke couldn't help but think again. It was indeed profitable. He nodded at all the things. When Luke saw him leave the room, his assistant Ken entered the room. " Good morning ". Luke nodded at Ken. " Why did he come here ? " Ken gestured towards the side the stats analyst just left. Luke understood that he was asking about his father's secretary.

" You don't know ? " Ken cocked his eyebrow at Luke. " The projects that we are going to sign ". " Oh yeah. He gave me a few files the other day. It seems like we are doing a lot of them with the same company this time. Do you know why ? " Luke slouched in his chair. " I am going to get married ". " WHAT ? " Ken had his eyes as wide as spaceships. He felt like he was hit with a whip lash out of nowhere. The level of shock was something else. " What are you shouting for ? " " You are not joking are you ? " " Do I look like it ? Does my expression look like I am ?"

Ken shook his head. " But still it is so surprising ". Ken's voice drained away at the end. " Tell me what happened ". Ken asked as he met Luke's eyes. Luke told everything that happened. " I don't know. No one is listening to me. I cannot even do anything about it ". Luke saw Ken trying to take it all. " Have you spoke to him ? " Ken said after he digested everything. Luke shook his head. " Why didn't you even try it ? " " Should I do it now ? " He stood up and rushed out. Leaving Ken shocked in his place. Luke rushed out and took his car to the place he might find Leo. Ken sighed and walked out of the cabin to go to his own.
