20 Chapter 19 : The aftermath !

Third person point of view

Luke kissed Leo's forehead. Leo opened his eyes when he felt the touch of lips on his forehead. His heart skipped a beat. He waited for Luke's lips to make contact with his, but it never came. Instead he felt it on his forehead. Leo could feel the turmoil in his stomach. He couldn't bite back the smile reaching his lips. He could feel his cheeks grow hot. Luke let his lips stay there for a few seconds and then moved back. He then nuzzled his nose with Leo's put their foreheads together. He could see the blush on Leo's cheeks and also how red his ears were. He put his hand around Leo and hugged Leo, startling him.

Leo has gone through so many shocks continuously, blow after blow. He was scared something might happen to his heart. It was beating so hard, he could feel the pulse in his ears. He hugged Luke back and hid his face in his neck. He felt as if he supported himself by hugging Luke from fainting. He knew that he was as red as a blood right now. His heart was thumping so hard like it would burst out of his chest. Everyone cheered for them, they were hooting and clapping. They turned towards the crowd and smiled when they pulled away. Jade picked up his camera to take pictures. Ken was standing beside him.

The cake was brought to them after that. They held the knife together and cut it. Luke picked up a piece to feed Leo. Leo ate it and then he did the same to Luke. Leo had cream at the corner of his lips. Luke held Leo's face and used his thumb to remove it. Leo could only stare at him. He wondered what Luke was up to. Luke then licked his thumb. Leo could only look away. Luke smiled at how shy Leo was. Ken and Jade couldn't help but exchange a look. They rolled their eyes smiling and looked back at the couple. Ken observed as Jade took pictures and then turned to the front. Jade glanced at Ken and turned to the couple again. He even took photos of Ken, a few with permission and poses from him and the other were candid.

Luke and Leo spent the whole day greeting people and talking with most of them. The four of them had lunch together. They were lively and laughing. " You guys don't have any gift for us ? " Luke asked looking at Ken and Jade. They exchanged a look. " We were your best men and helped with everything and even attended the wedding. What else do you want ? " Luke was looking at them with his face resting on his hand. " Not buying it ? " Ken saw Luke shake his head. Ken's eyes lit up. " How about bed sheets ? They will be very useful ". Leo choked on his drink and started coughing. Jade gave him a tissue. " True right, they will be useful ". Jade nodded in agreement. Leo glared at Jade who looked away with a smile.

" We will talk in the office later ". Ken gave a big grin. " The decoration of this hall is so good ". Ken started speaking to Jade who was sitting beside him. Jade nodded. " Yes, of course. We chose only the best for our dear friends. Please have your food ". Luke rolled his eyes and they continued to eat. " How do you guys like it ? " Luke looked up. " It was good ". The sweetly sickening smile was a warning to Ken. He laughed awkwardly. " Luke, can I get a leave ? " " If it is for a life time then sure ". Ken grinned. Jade chuckled. Leo shook his head smiling.

" You should save me. Why are you laughing ? " " It's okay, don't worry. He won't do anything. If he does we can just complain to Leo, right ? " Jade looked at Leo. Leo raised his head to look at all of them and then at Jade. He nodded not so surely. Jade and Ken cracked up. Luke smiled looking at Leo, who met his eyes and was back to eating. " Jokes aside, everything was perfect. Thanks to you guys ". Leo nodded. " True. It went on very well ".

" Ayeeee~~ No mention. You need not thank us. Can't we do that much for our friends ". Jade agreed. " It is for you guys. So of course we will make sure everything is at it's best ". " If there is anything in the future, we will be willing to help you guys as well. Right, Leo ? " Leo nodded. " Then-" Luke stopped Ken mid sentence. " No leave ". Ken didn't finish his sentence anymore. " Tsk. So mean ". Luke shook his head. All this while, Ken and Jade were the saviors. If not for them, it would be too awkward. It was almost night by the time they left. Luke drove to their new house. They have removed their coats and were only in the dress pants and shirt. Leo went to put the food they bought for dinner in the kitchen.

" I am going to take a shower first ". Luke shouted as he walked up the stairs to go to their room. Leo walked into the room after a while. He sat on the bed and was totally tired. He waited for some time and Luke came out. Leo went next to take a shower. " I will heat the food ". Luke said and Leo nodded and closed the door of the bathroom. Luke went down and removed the food to put it in the oven to heat it up. Luke served everything on the table by the time Leo arrived. " Come. I was about to call you ".

They sat facing each other. None of them spoke as they finished the dinner in silence. They put the dishes to clean them. " I will clean them up ". " Let me help you ". Luke suggested when Leo said that he was fine alone. They finished it and then went to the bedroom. Leo was nervous when he entered it this time. They were too tired after a long day, when they came back. But now everything was clear. It was so awkward for the both of them. As he turned around to see Luke walk towards him, he gulped hard.

Luke walked closer to him with a smirk. He pushed Leo on to the bed and got on top of him and their faces were inches far. " What are you doing ? " Leo was scared suddenly. " Why ? What is wrong with this ? It is our wedding night after all ". Luke said with an evil smirk. Leo pushed him away. Luke fell on the bed beside him and laughed. " Wedding night, my foot ". " Awww. Come on baby, don't be like that ". " You have a death wish ? " He loved teasing Leo. He was so cute like an angry cat. He could only laugh at him.

He slept in a proper sleeping position. They were at two ends of the bed. " Leo~~ ". Luke called out in a sweet sing-song kind of way. " One move and I will kick you out of the bed. I don't care if you sleep on the floor or the couch. I don't care even you freeze. Got it ? " Luke couldn't help but laugh. " So fierce ". Leo turned towards Luke. " You are definitely the wifey in our relationship ". Luke winked at him. " You don't want to sleep on the bed ? " Luke grinned and Leo turned away and puffed his cheeks. They fell asleep pretty quickly after a long day. They were pretty tired after all.
