19 Chapter 18 : The (not so) most awaited day !

Third person point of view

It was quite difficult for the both of them to digest. The few days went by in a blink and now the next day was their wedding. No wonder people say time flies by. Luke was not able to sleep. He was sitting on his bed playing on his phone. He tossed it aside. He was not able to calm his mind and fall asleep. But he has to. So, he slept on the bed and closed his eyes and was training his mind to sleep. If he doesn't sleep, he might look like a zombie with dark circles and blood shot eyes. He took deep breaths trying to sleep. Eventually he did fall asleep.

Meanwhile, Leo was tossing on his bed trying to get some sleep, but he couldn't. Leo tossed and tossed but couldn't. He sat up and wriggled feeling frustrated. He checked around his room. Most of his things were shifted to the house they were going to live in. His mother bought him many clothes as well, again. They were all shifted to the new house. His room felt like a body without a soul. Everything is there, but still empty. It was the same with Luke as well. He also went to check once and to see that things were in place in the new house. There was a walk in closet which was filled with both of their clothes. It was nothing smaller than a room, it was big enough.

Leo stood in front of the window. He looked out and saw his surroundings. He might not see this anymore. He doesn't know what it will be like to live with Luke. He sighed and felt like his head was spinning with so many thoughts running in his mind. He couldn't find the reason for his restlessness. He went to his bed and closed his eyes. This time he was able to manage to finally fall asleep.

The next morning everything was hectic with people rushing around. They were not going to be many people. It was going to be their families with a few relatives and important business partners from both sides. They reached the hotel around 2 hours ago before the start of the ceremony. They had their own rooms to get ready. Everyone was excited and happy, except for those two who were nervous and anxious. Leo was taking deep breaths trying to control his racing heart. After everything was done and it was time, Luke and Leo stood in front of the door.

It was closed and there was no one with them. It was only the both of them, since everyone else was in the hall. Luke could see that Leo was nervous. His expression told it all. He smiled at him. " You are nervous ? " Leo was startled and just nodded subtly without saying much. Luke chuckled at him. " Why are you laughing ? " Luke held Leo's shoulders and turned him to face him. " It is going to be fine ". He smiled warmly which made Leo relax a little. He looked down taking a deep breath.

But then Luke pulled him closer by his waist. He was shocked and put his hands on Luke's chest as an instinct. He was looking at him with wide eyes, blinking continuously looking so innocent to Luke's eyes. " You will always be safe in my arms baby ". He pushed Luke away and dusted his suit. Luke laughed at his reaction. " Baby, my foot ". It only cracked up Luke even more. " Smile when you walk out. I don't want to scare the guests with that frown ". Leo narrowed his eyes at Luke only to earn a goofy grin from him. Something Leo didn't realize was that after their little banter, he calmed down.

The doors were opened. Luke extended his arm for Leo to hold. Leo put his arm around Luke's as they walked down the aisle together. They smiled at the people around as they walked. The hall was decorated very well. It was elegant without too much extravagance. The credits would definitely go to Jade and Ken. They went around to see a lot, to pick the best one. They took care of everything regarding the wedding, from the place to decorations to sending invitations and the cake too.

Luke was busy, so Ken helped him and since Jade was Leo's friend, Ken decided to seek help from him. Jade was more than happy to help Ken. They planned the timings, so that both of them will be available and even during weekends, they were busy picking things. Ken and Jade exchanged a smile when they saw the couple walking down the aisle. They were standing on either side holding the rings.

Once they reached the priest, Leo removed his hand and they stood beside each other. The priest finished reading the vows and blessings. They turned to face each other. " Do you, Luke, wish to take, Leo, as your lawfully wedded husband in the name of god and promise to be with them in all their happiness and hardships and trials in life and promise to support them through everything ? "

Luke looked at Leo in the eyes with a smile. " I do ". " Leo did the same as well. " I do ". Their eyes were shining as they were looking at each other. " You may exchange the rings ". Luke took the ring from his best man, Ken. Leo extended his hand. Luke put the ring on Leo's hand and kissed his hand.

Leo was surprised at the gesture. His cheeks were turning red. He felt embarrassed. He thought why Luke keeps acting cheesy out of the blue. Leo took the ring from his best man, Jade. He put it on Luke's hand and smiled. It had the letters carved on it like they ordered. Luke smiled back at him. " You may kiss ". Leo was scared at this. Leo was anxious about this moment and it finally came. He didn't know what to do. His already racing heart picked up even more speed. But then Luke smiled and took a step towards Leo.

Leo's eyes suddenly went wide. He gulped hard looking at Luke. Luke held both of Leo's hands and moved closer. Leo closed his eyes as Luke's face came closer to his. He was thinking he might kiss him and waited for it. Luke grinned and thought Leo was cute, getting all worked up. Luke saw that Leo closed his eyes as his face was going closer. Making him want to tease Leo so bad. Leo opened his eyes in surprise.
