Finishing his annoncement, the Principal left the class and the teacher started his lecture. Jonathan pulled a desk and sat near Sandriya who was still standing surprised.

"Are you gonna stand for the rest of the class?Jonathan asked in a hushed voice

She quickly sat down."Why did you come here?"

"Come on Sandriya.Is this how you treat a friend?"he asked as he crossed his arms

"Sorry.That was not what i meant to say.I was surprised to see you here.Thats why."she said with an apologitic smile.

"Its ok dearie I forgive you."He replied as he turned to the board.

"Don't call me Dearie" she said loudly.

Jonathan made a shh sign.But the teacher had already spotted her.

"Sandriya.Jonathan.Go out"the teacher said in an angered tone.

Jonathan stood up and walked out casually with his hands in his pocket whereas Sandriya felt a little embarressed as it was not often she was sent out like this.

The two stood in the corridor.Jonathan leaned against the wall as he stared at Sandriya.

"Are you feeling bad for standing outside?"he asked with concern

"No.no.Thats alright.Its not like I have never been sent out"she sighed"Now tell me.How did you come here?"

"Oh that.I didnt have any friends in my previous school.As i have a new friend here i decided to shift and asked my parents to make arrangements."he said with a charming look.

"You are unbelieveable."she chuckled"Does that mean you came here for me?"she asked jokingly.She then added"Your family must be very rich.I guess."

Suddenly "What makes you think that Dearie?" he asked cornering her against the wall as he looked deeply into her eyes.

Sandriya flustered."Dont act weird and dont call me Dearie." she said as she tried to push his arm away.Her ears started to redden,as it did whenever she got nervous.

" You still didnt answer my question" he said smiling at her reactions.

"I..I just thought.Because you have a vibe of royality"She said still flustered.

"Oh...is that so?.I will take that as a compliment.But I am not rich as you think.And I was not asking about that.What makes you think i came for you?" he asked in seriousness.

"That was supposed to be a joke you idiot.Dont get any wrong ideas."she answered with anxiety.

"Hmph..But i kind of like you" he said releasing her and returned to his original position.

The bell rang and the two entered the class for their next subject.

Two days had passed.The school commenced as usual and soon it was time for lunch.Sandriya,Cathy and Elena took their lunch boxes and went to their usual place to have their lunch.

"He sure has gained the attention of a lot of girls in class."Cathy said as she pointed to some girls who were discussing about Jonathan.Sandriya nodded as she kept a spoon full of rice into her mouth.

"But he doesn't seem to be interested.He won't even face a girl if she tries to talk to him.In just two days he has already rejected three proposals" Elena informed.

"He looks like he is from a rich family."Cathy commented "Then why will he study here"Elena asked back.

" Yeah i had the same doubt"Sandriya said

" Looks like someone still doubts me" Sandriya's body became stiff and she choked on her food as she heard Jonathan's voice from behind.

"If you are so curious you can come to my apartment after class and check for youself if i am lying" he said smiling mischeviously and patted Sandriya on her head gently"Careful with your food now.Have some water"he said stretching out a bottle of water to her.

"No.That won't be necessary.I don't have my doubts anymore.Because a person from a high class family wont behave like an idiot"she said

"Wow Dearie.First you called me your friend and now you are calling me an idiot"Jonathan asked jokingly as she sat beside her.

"Stop calling me Dearie!"She yelled.

"Calm down Dear" Cathy and Elena tried to calm her as a few people were staring at her.

"Why shouldn't I?.All your other friends call you that.Then am i not your friend?"he asked not willing to leave the topic

"Its different when i hear it from you.Just stop teasing"She said angrily before getting up and leaving the place.

Jonathan realized that he did a little too much.He smiled apologitically at Cathy and Elena for ruining their lunch time and ran after Sandriya to calm her...
