Shivaay's Pov

I softly raised her head with my index finger and said, "Hey, I'm not going to pass judgement on you. Why didn't you trust me, if you claim I'm your favourite person? "

After taking my hand off her chin, I waited for her response. It bothers me that she believes I'm going to judge her when all I want is to get to know her.

"I'm sorry. It's just... I'm not a big believer in blind trust. That's how I've always been," She apologised profusely. I replied with a nod and added, "I understand. It's difficult to put your trust in someone you've just met. "

She gave me a friendly smile before stating, "I finished my meal and I must tell you that you cooked extremely well. Thank you so much. " She said this as she rose from her seat and walked over to the sink to wash her bowl. I, on the other hand, simply keep my gaze fixed on her as she washes her dishes.
