The Summoning

 I was so Bored. I've been sitting on the throne for five thousand years... Gods, Angels, and demons were looking up to me. I was a supreme Being but why did it even matter? I couldn't show off my power anymore as even a movement of my finger could destroy a galaxy. I was just trying to live as casually as possible and it was slowly killing me. No one would dare to stand against me. Not even the Creator of the Universe, the Unnamed God who was supposed to be the One above all the living beings, and yet, he died by my sword. I was just Sitting there, wondering what could challenge me at that point. There was no answer, or the question could be answered very simply." Servants." - I addressed the weaklings below. "In your pathetic opinion, who could challenge me?"" No one!" - Said Ramael, the Warmaster of the angels. " Who Would dare to go against you, your Majesty!"" Such a boring answer... " - I released a long Sigh and Looked at Baal, the Demon. " Wanna spar with me, Baal?"" Me? Against you?" - He was frightened. "How would I dare to raise my hand against you, my lord."" You have my permission... Ugh... This is so god damn boring. I wanna fight someone."" I don't think there is anyone in the universe who is as powerful as you." - Montana, the leader of humanity stuck in his opinion. It killed my mood." Shut up, Montana. Nobody cares about your opinion."" Consider it, my Lord. Who could Challenge you? You conquered every corner of the universe. Your empire is unrivaled. There is just no one left to fight you. I suppose you will only get pathetic Sparring Partners until the end of time. If nothing changes by that time..."" What could change? Everyone will fear me eternally. It's not like I'm going anywhere. "Suddenly, my surroundings changed. The Throne Hall started glowing. Servants around me disappeared and My body accelerated. I started Flying in the glowing space against my will."What the hell?!" - I whispered.I just waited for this thing to end. All I could see were flashing lights. It Looked like a slow teleportation. It was bothersome to wait for it to end. I could break out of it anytime, of course. I was just curious about what was happening. Whoever dared to summon me would pay a terrible price.Soon, flashing lights disappeared. I looked around. I was standing on a large field. It was barren. No grass, no trees. Only ashes.A little kid was standing in front of me. She was wearing dirty rags. She had two brown eyes which glowed with happiness and excitement." I... I finally Preveiled!" - she shouted. " I summoned something?!"" You... Who are you?"" Me? My name is Katie. I'm so happy that I finally summoned a monster! "" A monster?" - I was surprised. Doesn't she know me? Everyone in the universe knew who I was. She was just calling me a monster? - " Do you not know who I am, you foolish kid? "" Oh..." She coughed and her facial expression became a bit more serious, as if she was preparing herself to say something important. "I will be honored if you will introduce yourself to me. "" I am the king of the seas, skies, space, and land. I am the ruler of all the known and unknown galaxies. Gods, angels, and demons bow before me. I am the supreme being of the universe. My name is Harold, the Almighty."" Whoa! That is so cool!" She smiled again, and her serious expression disappeared instantly." Hmm... How come you haven't heard of me, little girl?"" I summoned you from another world. Probably that's why. ""Another world?""Yes! I never summoned anything before! I couldn't do it."" So there are other worlds..." - I whispered to myself. I was already scheming things while looking around the dark desert surrounding us. Another world. Why wasn't I aware of such a thing? My omniscience was incomplete? What was that place? " What's this world called?"" I'm not sure if it has a name or not. It's been centuries since demons took over it. If this world has a name, it has been long forgotten." Her face turned grim and she looked down at my armoured boot." Demons, huh?"" Yes. Huge, terrifying monsters."" That's why you summoned me?"" Yes. I want you to help me free my world. There are millions of people starving and suffering all over these barren lands. They are forced to work for the demons without any compensation. We are slaves to these beings, we starve and we die."" Why aren't you working then? Are you a rogue?"" I ran away. I couldn't deal with all of this. I wasn't destined to be a slave."" Destined? No one is destined to become anything. We decide that with our actions. We write our own destiny. And slavery isn't the kind of fate I tolerate. You did the right thing by running away."She smiled softly and nodded." But how in the Nine rings of hell did you summon me, kid? You could at least summon a weaker monster or something. Why did you choose me?!"" I didn't choose you. It was probably a random feeling. I just felt so much power and... Boredom..."" That was probably me. You chose me..."" How was I supposed to know?!"" Alright, Alright. Just tell me where those demons are. I left my empire behind. I don't trust any of my servants. Those traitors will take over my throne if I'll leave for a second."" Well... You can start with that. " - she pointed her finger at the monster that was standing far away. It was probably taller than the sky itself. Of course, like all demons, it looked disgusting. It had tentacles and additional legs and arms everywhere. Probably 9 eyes. This massive monster didn't even notice us. Even if it did, what would it change?! We looked like Ants in its eyes. But one ant had the power of the gods and the being would soon become aware of that. - "Are you sure that you can beat such a monster?""Are you seriously asking me that? I killed a god who was the size of two galaxies. His body exploded with the power of a few billion supernovas and I came out Unharmed. You think this ant is a challenge to me?"" I just asked...".I pulled the God Slayer sword from my pocket Dimension. This piece of art was forged in the fires of hell and the waters of Heaven. It was hammered by a godly hammer and was shaped by the best Dwarves. It was Blessed by the Elves, Fairies, gods, and Angels. It was cursed by the Devil himself, Lucifer. It was the strongest weapon in all of existence, made by the remains of the creator of my universe. Just one strong swing of it could destroy galaxies.I summoned my Devil's wings and flew up so I could see the demon up close. It was disgusting. Its body was covered in saliva and other liquids. It had little eyes everywhere. Soon I approached its head." Demon. State your name and Business here!" My divine roar would cause a rupture of any mortal beings' eardrums.The creature twitched heavily as if suddenly waking up, its thousand eyes fixed up on me." Business? This land belongs to me" - Creature said slowly. Its words spitted Venom. - "Who are you, little Creature? How dare you approach me?!"" I am Harold the Undefeated. King of everything and everyone. I claim this land as mine. I demand you to leave this place in peace. You won't be harmed if you will comply."The creature went silent for a while. I thought it was just thinking about its decision, but soon it started laughing in a disgusting voice. Its entire body started trembling." You dare Laugh at me, creature?!" I cried, outraged at such disrespect." You claim my land? I won't be harmed? You must have lost your mind, human. "" I gave you a chance and You dare laugh at me?!"" You made me laugh well. Get lost now. I am in a good mood and won't harm you. Show such foolishness with me once again and I will destroy y... "I didn't even let it finish the word. I swung my sword as casually as possible. The huge wave of Divine energy tore the demon's head off and turned it into small shreds.The yellow Shockwave went forward and destroyed everything in its path. I lifted my hand and Controlled it. I clenched my fist and this huge energy just disappeared. It still left ruins and destruction in its wake, dark sand turned into glass because of the immense heat of the wave and started shining in a spectrum of colors under the soft daylight." Maybe the god slayer sword was too much to begin with..." I whispered to myself.I put the sword into the pocket dimension again and looked at the demon. Its head was gone but the legs and body were still standing. Soon the creature started regenerating its head. Saliva started bursting out like fountains, followed by blood and flesh. The creature slowly started reshaping its grotesque head." Disgusting." - I spat. - "Truly a demon..."" You impudent fool! You dare attack me?!" - I heard the demon's cry, followed by a loud noise, and a purple energy beam came flying towards me. I just deflected it with my hand's single movement." Nice trick you got there, my ugly friend. Demonic energy beam... I've seen a lot better than that but still... "I teleported to its feet and grabbed it. Then I flew upwards into the space and brought the demon with me. Its body started burning as I escaped the atmosphere of the planet. My enhanced senses picked out the smell of the burning, rotten meat. Salivas and other liquids evaporated instantly and the creature twitched in pain." Though, it's nothing special. When you're going against me, you must use special firepower. You should do your best. That half-assed attack is nothing. If you are so weak, you do not even deserve to live."I escaped the upper atmosphere and the darkness of space swept in front of me in all directions. The dark, cold void never felt good. It reminded me of the cold nights of the crusade. I threw the Demon far away, its screams inaudible in the emptiness of the cosmos." Let me show What demonic Energy beam truly means."I gathered a tiny bit of demonic in my right hand, smiled, and released a huge, purple beam. It destroyed the demon's entire body in an instant. The beam went forward and turned everything to ashes: stars, moons, planets, and asteroids. Everything solid has been erased from existence. Everything the demonic energy touched was instantly destroyed and consumed. It destroyed everything a few light-years away. I stopped releasing the beam in two seconds but the damage was done. I couldn't see any stars in the huge round area far away. Only darkness. Maybe I overdid it, but I couldn't care less. This wasn't my World anyway. Even if it was, I could do anything I wanted. No one in the universe could stop me. It was mine to rule.I looked down at the planet's surface with my enhanced eyes. The Girl was on her knees. She was Shocked. I teleported there instantly." C'mon, get up. That is embarrassing!"" You! You are..."" A monster, I know. I don't care..."" Amazing!"" What?"" That was amazing! You destroyed such a huge demon all by yourself. You are very strong!"" I told you that I'm the king of everyone and everything. How could a weak person become a king?!"" I could feel that you were strong, but not that much."" Well... Surprise?!"" I purified her soul and body, healed her bruises, and swept away her exhaustion like a cloud of dust. The demonic energy was corrupting her gentle, soft spirit, its evil fangs were biting at the innocent being, but my holy energy nullified its effects and washed it away from her like a little stain from a dirty rag. Still, the kid didn't wake up." Now that I looked at you, you're so damn Skinny, kid". I whispered.I summoned a little Lightning spirit and let it touch Katie. The shock caused by the electricity woke Katie Up. She was so scared that she gasped and crawled back a few meters." What happened? Did I collapse?" - she almost screamed." Damn, no need to scream. I can hear anything across galaxies. There is no need to mess up my ears when I'm right here..."" I'm sorry..."" Why did you collapse? Is this happening often? I healed any kind of injury in your body but you still didn't wake up. What's going on?"" Oh... Nothing scary. I'm just hungry. I didn't eat anything other than half-mutated Rats and Dirt in 2 weeks. Only demons have access to a few Oasises across the world and they monopolize it. The only liquid I have seen was urine and... Blood. " - I smiled at her. She just ran in my direction and hugged me. I didn't stop her. Just waited until she stopped crying. I was patting her little head and wasn't saying anything.Soon she unhanded me and looked at the lake. It became so clean and blue, Katie was Shocked." How did that dirty Water become so clean so fast?!"" I just used a spell."" So I was right. You are using magic."" Well duh! Wasn't it obvious?!"" I don't know! I know nothing about you?!"" Then she took Water with her palms and poured on it carefully, covered it with a handful of dirt once again, and moved Backwards." What will happen now? Will it just explode? What should I expect?"" I got scared for a second that she was drowning, but then she raised her head from the Lake and exhaled a huge load of air." This water is so Delicious?!"I couldn't help but Laugh at this Point. I forgot about my role as a King-Emperor of everything and just started laughing." You stupid Kid!" - I said while wheezing. - You look like an Elephant! Have you seen them? Huge creatures drinking Water from their noses? You looked like that just now!"" I've never seen such a thing. "" Hahah! You little damn Kitty."We've been joking and laughing for a little while like some idiots until I noticed how The ground around the lake became Green." Katie, look at that!"" I just joked about it. No kind of poison could affect me." You surely brag a lot about how strong you are?!"" Poison and weapon aren't the same."" Ugh, you chicken! Hmm..." - I placed my hand inside the pocket space and picked up a little button. - " I guess The goddess of Cooking, Emilia wouldn't mind. She gave me this Button. If I'd ever need any kind of food, I'd just need to press this."" Whoa! That's amazing!"" Just think about what you wanna eat and press it" - I tossed the little Button to Katie. "Any kind of food.""Anything?""Yeah. Just think about it and press."She closed her eyes and stood frozen for a few seconds, then she pressed the button. Out of nowhere, a wooden table appeared. A fried Chicken was on it along with bread and Some fruit." Whoaa!" - Katie Yelled when she opened her eyes.- this food's real?!"" Really? I said you can imagine anything. If you have the imagination to summon a God can't you imagine more food so you won't starve?!"" I can't think about anything else Right now?! My brain isn't working properly. Can I eat now?""No. Gimme that."- I picked the button from her Palm and pressed It. multiple tables immediately appeared with all kinds of food and drinks on them. You could see everything there: Deer, Cow, Chicken, Pig, elephant Meat. All fried, boiled, or Smoked. There were steaks, Barbeque, and Sausages. All kinds of bread, wine, water, and even energetic drinks from the Past which have been long forgotten. I saved its recipe and Emilia has been producing it for me secretly. I loved drinking it when I transformed into a human and went undercover to live on earth. - "Now this is what I call a feast."Katie's Jaw Dropped. Then she started crying again. Ugh, this Kid..."Stop Whining, Kiddo. Go and Eat!"She didn't think twice. The Hungry kid just rushed towards the first table and Started devouring everything. I was glad that she wouldn't starve anymore and smiled.While she was mercilessly devouring everything in sight, I sat in front of the lake and Started Meditating. I wanted to sense the Energy of this Universe. I wanted to hear humans, understand the nature of this world.The First thing I felt was that The Energy I was feeling in every corner of the planet was tainted. It was unpure, disgusting even. I could sense the presence of the Demons everywhere. They had a dark, evil presence around them and didn't do much except grumbling, breathing heavily and slowly, and twitching weakly. Also, I sent relatively weaker energy that emanated from the humans. There were less than 5 million people across this planet. All of them were starved and Weak. I could feel it from their Spiritual Energy. I could hear their Voices. They were suffering. I could hear their curse words against the demons and their King Who let this Happen. William IV. He was defeated even though entire humanity fought against Demons united, as one. He ran away from the battlefield and died like a dog 20 years later when 2 billion people got slaughtered on the battlefield of Kaltwia. Everyone was calling him a coward and a shameful King.Demons didn't say much. They were mostly Quiet. Looked like they were absorbing Spiritual energy from the Universe to become stronger and Grow. That was why almost all of the Demons were standing still just like the Huge monster from before. They were sleeping and just sucking the life out of the planet. That's how it has been for the past few years if I would believe the voices of the people.I couldn't absorb the Mana from that world. It was way too Tainted and Strange. Not like I needed it but still, such a disgusting Mana was obviously the work of the Demons. Probably that's the reason why Humans couldn't fight back. They haven't been able to use Spiritual Energy as it was Tainted. To produce Magic, you need to learn how to control pure Mana. Inpure mana is called Demonic Energy and only Demons can use it as they are corrupted, evil, and disgusting beings.I started to cleanse the Mana around the world. I emanated my own pure, holy Energy and Divine Power. It purified the energies of the world. I immediately felt the change. All the Demons Suddenly woke up and an entire planet started shaking. It threw me off my meditation state. I saw Katie, trembling with fear. She wasn't looking at me. I followed the direction of her eyes and I saw a huge Demon standing in front of me. It was probably 3 Kilometers tall. It had a humanoid Figure. Two hands, two legs, One head, and Its entire body was black. He was holding a Huge, Red Sword. Demon's eyes were glowing. It was angry. I could feel its hatred."You!" - it screamed. - "You are the one who Cleansed The Demonic Energy?!""Yes, it was me." - I roared louder than the demon."Who gave you the Right?! Who do you think you are?!""My name is Harold, The Destroyer." - I stood Up. - " My wrath Destroyed Galaxies. My sword has slain countless Foes. My spear penetrated the hardest armor. My Shield Has never been broken and my legs never bowed. I am the god of everything and everyone. The king-emperor of the universe.""You sure talk a lot. Let's see how much of an unbreakable your shield Really is."He swung his huge Sword. It went in my direction. It was moving Slowly but The Sheer Size of the Weapon was Astonishing. I smiled."Harold!" - the girl screamed. - "We're gonna die like this?!"I completely forgot about Katie. I just created an invisible barrier around her that couldn't be damaged by a supernova itself and looked at the sword that was flying toward me." You sure look Strong, Demon." - I put my hand into the Pocket Space and Pulled Out My Katana called the Whisper of Beelzebub, The Japanese Sword that has been forged out of the pits of hell. Countless demons have been slain with it and their blood made it even sharper than before. It was forged from the Hell Stone, The most Durable Material in Hell. It was also Poisoned by Beelzebub with the strongest venom known by the universe. It was a Deadly weapon. Not too strong Like the God Slayer Sword and Not too weak. - "Let's see how you will handle my power."I launched myself in the air, swung my Katana, and Cut His sword like Butter. I summoned my Devil's wings and went for his head with incredible Speed. I was about to Slash His brain to bits when he hit me with the remaining part of his sword. The force of the blow threw me towards a nearby mountain and I crashed into the Rocks. I wish I could say that It hurt a lot but It just made me angry. And that was very bad. Not for me, But for the Demon." Couldn't you just die quickly? Why are you making Such a Fuss..." - I whispered to myself. - "You don't have an idea who you're dealing with."I summoned My angel's wings and Flew toward the Demon even faster. I swung my Sword. The Red Shockwave of the hellfire screamed and it slashed the demon's right Hand clean off. It fell along with the remaining wreckage of the sword. The foul creature screamed in Pain but Swung his left fist in my direction. I dodged it easily and cut its flesh into a thousand pieces. He cried out once again. I went straight for its head. It took a single Movement to separate Its twisted brain from the deformed body of the demon. Before it fell, I flew Upwards, Fixed the position of my sword, and flew down with unimaginable Speed. I slashed the demon's body in Half: from the neck to the legs. The separated parts of the creature fell. Black Blood Covered the surrounding field. It was a disgusting Scene. Its black organs fell on the ground and made a disgusting, splattering noise." That is the price of Making Me angry, you filthy Demon."I teleported to the Ground. The barrier Around Katie was standing as if nothing happened, even though the right side of the demon had fallen on it. I just grabbed the arm of the creature and Threw it far, Far Away. The little girl was on the ground as if praying. Who was she praying to?! I am a God and she's praying to Who?!I dismissed the Barrier with a wave of my palm."It's alright. The demon is dead." - I told her and Looked Around. - "Damn, everything is Covered with its blood. An entire area stinks. I hope you ain't gonna Vomit now. You ate a lot.""Damn, that was so scary!" - She slowly approached me and looked around. She was disgusted and Shocked at the same time. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore. You killed it so easily. You truly are a God.""That's what I've been trying to tell you for so long! It was kinda disappointing though. I thought It would be fun but the monsters here are so weak. Ugh... I guess I will never have fun anymore. Not with such pathetic opponents.""There were rumors among the slaves that mentioned the Demon King. According to them, it is the strongest demon that has ever lived. I think he will be able to compete with you. Anyway, those were just rumors. I don't know if they are real or not...""The Demon King, huh? Surely sounds intimidating. Where is this being right now?""At the center of the continent. The stench of it disappeared, as well as the demon's remains and a magical, sweet smell filled my nostrils. Katie's eyes were forced shut by the sheer strength and aroma of the heavenly scent."What is this smell?" She asked."It's just the holy flames' after-effect. Whenever it burns something filthy, it creates completely opposite smell.""I've never felt such a scent. Damn...""You wouldn't. You couldn't."Soon the surroundings were clean and it smelled heavenly. We just sat down nearby."Damn... It's disappointing..." I murmured."What is?""I thought I would have fun here. The fights here are no fun.""Sorry for that... Maybe it's not the kind of fights you have fought, but still...""I know that you needed help. I understand. I do not blame you. I'm just... I don't know...
