1 The waters

She stood looking at the horizon,the calm ocean were so still, she felt their weary or maybe it's just hers. She stood silently reminiscing that time. How she had followed him out of the portal to his world. And now, she can't go back home. She has no home. And for 500 years she had looked for him. 500 years she had hoped her savior would be here. And now she is stuck here. Stuck in a world where she will lose her soul and never be remembered. How foolish she had been. If only she knew humans die and had a short life. And yet she still remembered his touch, his voice, the stare... everything. There are days she feels them but how? It's been 500 years he should be dead. she watched as flying birds flew above the waters in beautiful circles, and the waves majestically rushed to the shore hitting the rock she stood on. The splash of waters never bothered her. She loved it. Her home had no vast water like here. Water only fell from above but over here water fell from above and collected below. She never understood how or why but it was beautiful.

For 500 years she had watched the ocean carry men on ships to many places. She had joined them, visited these many places just to find him. She had watched men die of these waters. She had treated them just hoping to find him amongst them. What hasn't she done just to find him? And just 50 years ago she noticed she was losing her soul. Her hair black hair was turning white. Her power was deteriorating. She now fed on souls of animals to preserve her soul. Once she looses it she will die and will never be remembered. Like she never existed, both here and her home. She chose this path.

Then the cool wind hit her face. Her mind came back to earth. Then wiped the tears on her face. She didn't even know when the tears begun to flow. She stood still until she heard a grumbling. She wondered what it was and she remembered it was her stomach. She was hungry. She better rush home before her sister Yang mi finds out that her she was out walking on the beach alone. She watched the ocean one last time and turned to walk back home. Her adopted parent's home.
