'Who is she?' I thought as I was mesmerized.

The girl was wearing a dark dress which was black and droopy. The dress appears to be lose but it was tight in all the right places.

Her hair was purple like mine and so was her eyes. I wondered if it was my narcissism but she - who stunned me - was like a female version of me.

Her face was innocent with a healthy hue of pink on her cheeks. But as if to oppose her innocent face, her body was a sin.

Her waist was extremely small, leaving me to wonder if she wore a very tight corset beneath her dress.

Her hips were a child bearing one. Her wide hips poked out this raw instinct in me which tells me that she was very fertile and I should do everything in my power to breed her.

The shape of her body could not avoid making men wonder what it would feel like on top of her. Oh, such obscene fantasy.

But what caught the most attention was her pale white boobs that appears to not only be capable of producing milk but was also made from one.

Her entire upper boobs were visible as those gorgeous globes of flesh were snugly nestled on the breast pocket of her dress. From what was visible, it was clear that she wore no bra, yet her breast boldly defy gravity and did not sag at all.

Then, as if extremely irked with my intense glaze, she turned to me. Her lazy expression froze when she saw me before her innocent and pretty face morphed to form this familiar smile.

'Her smile..' I thought before my eyes widen.

'Marin!!'

"Yuito!!" Confirming my suspicion, the girl - Marin - waved at me with a bright smile.

Now the eyes of almost everyone turned to me. The male's eyes especially were burning holes on my body as they glared at me with obvious envy.

Yuito. That was definitely not a last name so it could only mean that Marin and I were very close.

"Marin!!" I waved back and the eyes of the men wavered before they looked away in defeat.

Marin. That was also obviously not a last name. Which could only mean that we were probably dating to others.

I went to her table and I did not hide the admiration in my eyes as I looked at her from top to bottom.

...

I'm kidding. My eyes haven't really left her boobs.

But who could blame me. I honestly never realised that she was this blessed in the boobs department.

Marin waved her hand infront of my eyes to break off the new relationship between my eyes and her boobs.

"Hello~ My eyes are up here." She said and I finally looked at her.

She was smiling. She was not angry nor shy. Instead she almost seemed happy and proud that I looked at her in such a way.

Oh. Yes. She was probably happy to have someone admire her in her cosplay.

I sat down on the chair opposite to her's and so did she. I chuckled while getting comfortable in my seat.

"I swear they stared at me first." I said and Marin also chuckled before putting her arms below her boobs and lifting them up. I think she was teasing me.

They jiggled.

"See? I think they like me." I pointed at her jiggling boobs and her chuckle turned into a laugh.

"You have no idea." She said with a meaningful smirk that left me just enough clue for my mind to begin working in search for the meaning behind it.

"So, what do you think?" she asked while leaning back. She showed me the intricate details of her dress and she also showed me her cap and the chain which she took off to not appear too weird to others.

"You look fantastic." I said, and for some reason she laughed.

"Not me dummy. The costume." she said, "Do I look good in them?"

"Nah, it's the opposite. They look good on you." I gave a witty reply.

"Oh my god!! That's so corny." She squealed, seemingly embarrassed but she was smiling.

We continued chatting while we ordered some desserts since we just had breakfast. Both of us did not feel bored as everything seems to be a lot interesting when we were together.

There was no awkward moment between us. Every second seems to flow with oiled ease when we were both in the moment together.

I made her laugh. She made me embarrassed.

Then I made her shy. She made me chuckle.

But most importantly, we made each other smile.

Though she had no idea that she was under attack right now. Operation : MMFFMWPC was underway, full force. Every rizz I had was used. Every corny flirting techniques were used.

We enjoyed our 15 minutes time together in the restaurant but after that, we left as we needed to go to the anime convention.

Walking was better with Marin and I did not even notice how far we walked before we suddenly reached out destination.

Different cosplayers and multiple enthusiastic teens was the welcome we got. Both of us were excited since, at the end, we were both also a weeb.

This was practically our wet dream coming true. The greatest weeb dream.

We went from stalls to stalls and looked at different thing, touched different and smelled some other things too.

Did you know that they sell anime waifu's bathwater and even smelling salts that smelled like your favorite waifu's feet.

Many people might find it weird but I think it was genius. A thought which Marin agreed on too.

Then we went to different famous artist to get their autographs and we also bought multiple doujins they sell there as well.

We had a short back and forth with which artist make the best doujins but in the end Marin agreed with my opinion.

We also did not forget to buy some anime figurines. I chose what I wanted and Marin asked me to choose for her too.

After all of that, it was finally time for Marin to display herself.

She put on her full costume, with all the props - her cap, the writing on her thighs and even the metal collar and chain.

She gave me a professional camera and asked me to take pictures of her. I tried my best and took multiple pictures of her from different angles.

Weirdly enough, not many people came to Marin to take pictures with her like in the original anime. And even those who did are either kids or females.

The majority of the people with camera in the event - who were all males - seem to avoid Marin for some reason.

They still took pictures of her but they politely asked permission first and no one asked a picture with her.

I wonder why that is so, her costume was better than what she should have in the anime so why was she getting lesser people who wants picture with her?

.

.

It can't be because I was glaring at all the men who got too close to her. Right?

.

.

.

Nah, it can't be. There must be some other reason.

Though I was happy with the situation as there are many weird men in events like this. So better be safe than sorry.

But Marin was still extremely happy though. She was sweating a lot due to the heat but it appears as if she didn't even notice.

"Marin. We should stop for now." I said and Marin looked at me, waiting for my words.

"We can get lunch and if you want, we can come back again after that." I told her and she agreed even though she was reluctant.

Hmmm.

She was weirdly agreeable with me today. Even before too, in the situation where we would mostly argue over, she agreed with me and if not, she would point out how I was right instead of trying to prove me wrong.

Strange.

She can be quite stubborn in these type of things and was also extremely good at proving her point.

I wonder why she was being like that.

"Let's go." She said and grabbed my hand before pulling me away. "Let's eat at the same place okay? That restaurant has AC I think."

I agreed and we made our way back to the restaurant where we met before.

On our way, Marin met her friend from her middle school. The girl's name was Sakura Yamauchi and Marin was extremely excited to see her.

"Yeah, and he is super awkward and he can be very introverted. But he is a really good person." her friend whispered.

"Really? That's great!!" Marin exclaimed while she happily chatted with her friend at the side of the road.

I think they were talking about Sakura's new boyfriend and what not.

It has been a while and after Marin introduced us, they have been in this conversing together. Maybe they had a lot of thing to catch up with.

Sakura was a really pretty girl with a slim build. She had brown hair and brown eyes and she seemed like a really nice and happy girl. Just like Marin.

Honestly she was just how I imagined her friend to be like. Not those materialistic girl from our school.

As they continued to catch up in the middle of the sidewalk like an asian mom or something, I noticed that Marin was still sweating and trying to cool herself subconsciously.

I looked around and noticed a convenience store across the road. I decided to buy some ice popsicles for her while they talked so I went there.

Everything was normal.

Everything was good.

After buying three popsicles, I went out of the convenience shop with the items on a plastic bag.

The door of the store closed behind me and that's when I heard it...

A shrilling scream full of terror.

Not just one but multiple.

A gnawing feeling boiled in my heart. I had a really bad premonition.

I looked around and I noticed the people running away from the sidewalk opposite to me.

Right across the road.

The sidewalk where Marin was.

Oh.

.

.

No.

My eyes widen when I saw a man with a black hoddie running on the sidewalk. My sharp eyes immediately noticed the glint in his hands.

A knife. A knife so sharp that it was reflecting the light of the sun.

A vivid memory flashes on my mind. My mother telling me to be careful. There was a criminal on the lose.

The news reporting some time ago. I remembered it. The criminal stabbed his victims. Three victims and they were all random and they were all girls.

What was it I thought back then when I heard this news? What was my reaction back then?

'He won't be able to hurt me.' I remember I had thought back then.

But now that I was looking at him running straight towards Marin, I knew he was probably the person who can hurt me the most.

No.

No.

NO!!!

I saw that the criminal with the knife was running towards Marin but she was not his aim. His aim was her friend, Sakura.

I can't believe I am even thinking this but...Thank god.

Take her. Not Marin.

I am not good. I am not nice.

I am a bad guy for wanting Sakura to die instead of Marin.

But that's exactly what I want.

Let others die. Just

NOT.

HER.

.

.

.

But the girl with golden locks, Marin was not like me. She was truly good and kind.

When she noticed that her friend was in danger, she stood infront of her. She was protecting her.

Why Marin?

.

.

The criminal was only a couple of meters away from her. His knife was sharp and it was held with the intent to kill. He was death.

The death of Mairn.

He was only a couple of meters away from her, yet I was only halfway across the road.

Yes, I had ran desperately to Marin the moment I heard the scream. My body moved by itself and it took longer for my mind to catch up.

The whole world pressed down on me. Threatening me that it would crash if I didn't reach her.

My heart came up to my throat. I think it was trying to run away because of the sheer anxiety I was in right now.

I ran like never before.

I was fast. I thought I was fast.

But I realised when I saw how far Marin was...

that I was slow.

I was too far away.

.

.

.

Taken.

She going to be taken from me.

Yet I was too far.

Why was I always too far away to save them?

.

.

.

I don't think I can save you Marin.
