1 The New Guy

Chapter 1

ANGELA's POV

' I can't wait til I can move out,' I thought. It has been two months since my mom died. Eversince then, I have been living in California with my uncle and his friend who was home with me more than my uncle. He has been really OVER PROTECTIVE!! He doesn't allow me to go anywhere or invite my friends over. I just hope that this week goes well and glitch free.

' Angela get up! ' he yelled.

I got up got ready for school and went downstairs to find my uncle waiting.

' Morning Angela, how did you sleep?'

' Fine.'

'OK. What would you like for breakfast?'

' Don't have time for breakfast, I'll just grab something on the way to school.

MONICA'S POV

AT LUNCH

As we were staring at Nicholas, the new boy in school who transferred from Pennsylvania I saw Angela walking towards us.. He was tall, brown skinned with emerald eyes.

' Hey guys,' she said.

' Hey Angela, how was your weekend?'

' Same ol' same ol', just as every other weekend, home watching movies.'

' Hey Angela, why don't we go say hi?' Jordan said.

' Um.... I can't, I have to go collect my science labs.' she lied.

Since her mom died, her uncle and his friend have been really over protective of her, sometimes I think that his friend has ulterior motives. Jordan and I walked to a table not far from where Nicholas was sitting and sat down and began to eat out luch as Angela walked away.

AFTER SCHOOL

The day was finally over. I walked to the front of the school to meet Jordan. When i got outside we saw Angela running for the bus and it left her. We kinda felt sad for he because of how her uncle's friend acts.

ANGELA'S POV

' How could this day get any worst?' i thought.

Shortly behind me i saw Nicholas walking through the gate. When he turned the corner he saw me and walked towards me.

' Why is he walking towards me?' i thought.

' Hey Angela, would you like a ride home' he asked.

There's a part of me which is telling me to say no because of my uncle and his friend.

' Umm..... Sure, thankx.'
