37 The Dark Ghost

The dark ghost landed on the ground steadily after it hit Xiao Yu and charged at him again.

Xiao Yu could only judge the attacking direction of the dark ghost by vaguely sensing its movements. Sensing the dark ghost leaping at him, Xiao Yu knew he had no chance of dodging it in time. "I've been discovered." Xiao Yu stopped recovering his health and stood up. He faced the dark ghost while taking a fighting pose.

The dark ghost pounced at Xiao Yu.

A thick shrub in front of Xiao Yu was crushed and got sent flying. The dark ghost landed on the ground, crouched slightly and then leaped at Xiao Yu again.

The sharp claws of the dark ghost emitted cold flashes. Seeing the powerful strength of the dark ghost, Xiao Yu was terrified.

Xiao Yu looked around and retreated swiftly. He came to an open area that could offer him an opportunity to use his skills. Seeing the dark ghost about to pounce at him, Xiao Yu backed up a few steps and then launched a reversed backstab.

Xiao Yu had no way to see the dark ghost clearly in the dark. Relying on the dim moonlight, he had to mostly guess where the dark ghost was. With a flash, Xiao Yu hit the dark ghost forcefully with his dagger.
