Khan grabbed the house-elf in a tight hug.

"DEEK?!? IS THAT REALLY YOU!?!?" Khan practically shouted, overwhelmed with emotion at the sight of his familiar friend.

Letting out a squeak, the house elf quickly pops out of Khan's tight grip with a quick snap of his fingers, appearing on the other side of the large Botanical table situated in the middle of the room.

"Deek?" Khan calls out hesitantly. "It's me. Jordan."

Cautiously walking closer, the house-elf moved to get a better look at the young man.

"Are youuz The Great Jordan Khan?" Squeaked the house-elf.

"Yes..." Khan responded hesitantly. Yes that was his name, but where the hell did the 'Great' come into the picture....

'YIIIII' Squeaked the house-elf in obvious excitement. "Please wait right here sirs. Zeke will be right back!"

With a quick *POP* the house-elf snapped and popped away.

"Wait... Zeke?" Mumbled Khan to himself confused.

Khan's thoughts were even more a blur than previously.

'He had just seen his old friend Deek!

He looked exactly like him!

He even had the same clothes!

He and Deek had been through so much together!

They had saved so many beasts working side by side!

If Sebastian, Natty and Poppy were his 3 best friends, then Deek was his 4th!

Theres no way he could confuse Deek for another house-elf!

Could he?

He was in a coma for over 100 years. Maybe he forgot what his friends looked like.

Maybe he forgot what his family looks like.

Maybe...'

As Khan's thoughts spiraled out of control, thunder and lighting started to gather right above the tower where the RoR was situated.

*CRACK*

Lightning flashed across the RoR Botanical glass ceiling in anger.

*BOOOOOOM*

Thunder was heard, and felt, shortly after.

The once tranquil RoR had taken on a foreboding feeling.

Gone was the sunlight chamber, blossoming with life, with nature to comfort you.

What replaced it instead, was a dark, eerie room. The sense of unease and fear permeating the air was palpable.

*BOOOOOOM*

Thunder crashed against the glass ceiling in anger, rattling the table, subsequently shocking Khan out of his thoughts.

'What was that?' Khan wondered to himself. 'Did I just see the table shake?'

Glancing outside, through the glass ceiling above, all he saw was sunshine, with some butterflies flying through the air.

Shaking his head, he mutters to himself. 'Now you're seeing things Jordan. Get it together.'

Walking up to the large table, he pulls out a chair taking a seat to wait.

'Well….. no use dwelling on things.' He comments off hand. 'Guess il relax and wait for my new friend to return.'

Khan had made up his mind. Regardless of who this house-elf was. He would try to befriend him. He looked too much like Deek, not to try.

A few minutes later, a pair of loud *POP*s were heard a few meters from where Khan was currently seated.

Khan glances towards the 2 elves, before resolving himself.

Holding up his hand, Khan states with genuine emotion. "First of all, I want to apologize for losing control of my emotions and acting in an unrestrained manner. There are a great many things I am confused about, so I apologize with how unreserved I previously was. It shant' happen again."

Slipping back into his old pure-blooded etiquette, Khan eloquently apologizes to the mistaken house-elf.

Getting a better look at the house-elf, he did notice some slight differences. Less grey hairs. Less abused. A bit larger than Deek was indicating a healthy upbringing.

Squeaking out in response, the house elf hurried replies. "It is ok great sirs! Zeke has heard all about youz since Zeke was quite young. It is an honor sirs!"

"Oh? You've heard about me?" Khan asked intrigued.

"Yes sirs! From my grandfather and father as Zeke grew up!" Zeke states quite proudly. "Zeke tells Leek now every night before bed!"

Walking up to the two elves, Khan holds out his hand.

"The honor is all mine." Khan states, shaking their hands in gratitude. "Thank you for taking care of my RoR all these years."

Squeaking in obvious excitement, the other house-elf begins to flap his ears yelling excitedly. "YOUZ IS THE GREAT KHAN! TEEK IS HONORED GREAT SIRS! TEEK HAS HEARD ALL ABOUT YOU FROM HIS FATHER! TEEK HAS BEEN TAKING CARE OF THE ROR FOR 60 YEARS SIRS! NOW IT IS IT WAS TEEKS HONOR TO TAKE CARE OF ALL THE GREAT KHANS BEASTIES!"

In shock, not just due to the House-elf's tone or obvious excited, but also due to the implication, Khan was at a loss for words momentarily.

Pausing to rearrange his thoughts, he finally manages to ask stupidly after a few seconds of stuttering, "Are my beasts ok?"

"YES SIRS! THE GREAT KHAN'S BEASTIES HAVE MADE MANY BABIES! TEEK STILL ENJOYS COMING TO PLAY WITH ALL THE BEASTIES!"

A huge wave of relief floated over Khan. His beasts were still alive!

His Phoenix Sol! Highwing! His Golden unicorn, Stella! His all white thestral, Yama! Lord of the Shore!

'Speaking of Lord of the Shore…' Khan mumbled to himself fondly. 'I really have to come up with a better name. At least a shorter one….'

Thinking to himself for a second, he realizes, staring at the 2 house-elves looking at him excitedly, they look strangely similar.

Pausing, to consider if this question is racist, he eventually continues, his curiosity getting the best of him.

"Are you two related?"

Teek, with his ears still flapping excitedly exclaims, "THE GREAT KHAN IS WISE! FATHER ALWAYS TOLD TEEK SO! NOW TEEK SEES IT WITH HIS OWN EYES!"

Nodding his head up and down quickly, his whole body was soon shaking, as he continued proudly, "TEEK IS FATHER OF ZEKE!"

Nodding his head in understanding, (and slightly pleased he wasn't in fact racist towards house-elves and them all looking alike), Khan continues to ask politely.

"May I ask who your father is Teek?"

Continuing to nod his head at hypersonic speeds, Teek exclaims. "TEEK HAS HEARD ALL ABOUT THE GREAT KHAN FROM FATHER! EVERYNIGHT AFTER CHORES, FATHER WOULD TELL TEEK OF ALL THEIR ADVENTURES TOGETHER!"

'Adventures together!?!?' Khan thinks to himself. Looking over the two house-elves again more carefully, it eventually clicks for Khan.

"Is your Father Deek?!?"
