9 Chapter Nine

Steraise can only be used by a rare selection of people who were born during a blue moon. The blue moons glow gave the power of 'control'. Control is the ability to control other people no matter who or what they were. This power could only affect those who within a thirty meter range. It let the owner give any number amount of commands out to the people who were subjugated to it. It wasn't easy to break in fact nobody had been able to overcome this power. Those born with it are almost immediately able to use it perfectly. They also are able to learn things quicker then others and a potentially stronger than the normal person. Possessing this power is also why they found out the truth about the village and were able to leave. Normal people would have been repealed by the barrier surrounding them. You might be wondering why Laelynn and William had never met, but they have actually met before. In fact as children they were really close. William however realized the truth sooner than Laelynn did and was forced into hiding as a kid. When a person leaves the barrier all memories of them vanish as if they were never there. So, Laelynn didn't remember William. William however did remember her which is part of the reason he was helping her.

"Now that these guys are unconscious we can leave without being followed." William said.

"Yeah, but we had better go quick to make sure they don't follow us if they happen to wake up early." Laelynn said.

"Alright." William agreed.

They walk towards Mill-Vill's exit and prepared to move to the next city. Knowing that they were both being targeted, they decided to advance together.
