25 Jin Yi

"How is our chance in this tournament?" The Chief Patriarch ask the most important question for them right now. Winning on this tournament not only bring pride to their sect, but there is some wager made as the prize. The five sects in the heaven have some resources they pooled together to be distributed through some tournaments. Usually those tournaments are held in the heaven, but once a while, gods can get bored to. The patriarchs been in the heaven so they are familiar with this custom, but as to why this tournament will be held here none of them have an idea.

"Out of the five sects we are the youngest and more often than not considered as the weakest." Patriarch Blue subtly answer the question. Champion is not supposed to be their goal, since they are the youngest sect out of the five sects competing. This answer from patriarch Blue will ease it up for the masters to answer this question.

"Black Leaf Sect is certainly the top runner to win this, except of course… if…if that freak joins this competition. If that freaking Jin Yi still allowed to compete, than there is no question, right?" When Master Shen Yi mention this, all the others just nod their head.

"That freak is still in this world? What he actually wished to achieve?" This time the second patriarch asked as he truly confuse. He heard about this guy before and find no reason for him to stay at this world.

Jin Yi is a name that able to give a shock to even the patriarchs, and rightly so. He is a disciple from the Silent Wind Sect of the Han Kingdom. This sect supposed to be the closest to the Wing Sect in terms of power, of course that is pre-Jin Yi calculation of strength.

As far as the five sects knows, there is no disciples in their sect can match Jin Yi in terms of talent, and that including Guo Feng and Feng Yanlei. Every sect has their own super talents, but nothing come close to Jin Yi. For the Wing Sect, Guo Feng is like their own Jin Yi. However, not every other sect agrees with this.

Talent is one thing, but how much he achieves from his full potential is another thing. For most people it still far too early to assess Guo Feng's talent. He is not even reaching the Qi Absorption Stage yet, where everything starts to matter.

People believe Jin Yi can easily reach the Soul Core Stage, and ascend to the heaven. All the bets are about to when he will do so, rather than is he able to or not. None of them get it right, Jin Yi never reach the Soul Core Stage until now. At the peak of Qi Absorption Stage, he chose to stop his cultivation and serve his country.

Serving their own country is a usual thing for any sect disciples, but only to those who does not have any chance to ascend. The sects not going to help their disciples reach the Soul Core Stage, only for them to serve their country. Everyone that reach that level has to continue their apprenticeship at the heaven.

Jin Yi is not come from a royal blood, so he will not have the privilege to become a Soul Core Cultivator on this world. He does come from a noble family, but his family is killed when he still a child. As an orphan he should have a hard time to become a cultivator. "For the last tournament, his Silent Wind Sect is ranked just above us. It just that along with Jin Yi this sect has made a lot of improvement. It is unclear how much he is involved in it, but it seems those are linked with each other.

At the opposite of them is the Iron Desert Sect, as the second placed sect last time they had been quiet recently. Without any prominent young talents, they looked like the weakest sect as of now. The Beast Sect is always our biggest rival, and now I think we can challenge them head on.

We will not get the last place this time. Second place will be our target, but I think it is realistic to say we are going to be placed third. Again of course this prediction can only be valid, if Jin Yi is not in this competition." The Wing Sect is not the only one worried about Jin Yi.

All the five sects knew about it, the outcome of such a huge tournament can change a lot just with a single person presence. Such is the power of Jin Yi.
