11 Astral Projection

Lu Yan has spent a few days cultivating in this cave now. Even though his cultivation base never changes his body are getting far stronger by days. This new technique he has certainly are more potent than his Divine Wing Techniques before.

"You don't have to worry about your cultivation base. It never matters where are you at before building your soul core." The God just said it while Lu Yan still eating, he again read his worried mind.

It only took a while and he see himself out of the cave already. He was at his room there is only, it was exactly like when he leaves. Except of course it missed some books.

Even everything seems the same Lu Yan feel something is missing. He can see, hear and even smell but somehow still lacking. Everything is right in front of him yet it feels like he is watching from some distance. Soon he realizes his body is incorporeal and floating above the ground. All he does now is staring at the "God' beside him, waiting for an explanation.

"This is called Astral Projection. One very complicated and advanced magic skill. However, this skill is dangerous to use when you still only have one soul core." The God explain it without being asked this time.

"More than one Soul Core? Is that possible?" He never heard anything like that before.

Soul Core created by merging your own spirit with Qi power. Creating an infinite source of qi inside one's body, as well strengthening their spirit. This soul core function as a power source that surely will explode if met with another. Having more than one inside your body is basically impossible, but of course this is a God he is talking into.

"You should at least be at the Soul Core Stage first before we start this discussion. Anyway, your soul will gradually get weaker outside your body. Without the Soul Core and my support on this matter your spirit will start to injured soon after it get out of your body and will vanish eventually. With the soul core your spirit will be ok, but your body will wither in time. For a few hours maybe it is still doable, but more than that you might get crippled after. Not to mention someone can kill harm your body without you realizing it. In my case, I can get one spirit out of my body and another still inside. So, I am perfectly safe and in time you will be able to this also." This speech is surely to lure Lu Yan's motivation to further cultivate faster.

This time they travel at slower speed than before, but still much faster than what Lu Yan can do running. He still can see they move around the outer sect compound from his house to another, although it is rather blurred. They travel even faster since there is no need of any doors with this kind of travel. Since their body is incorporeal, they can go through doors and walls.

They arrived at another room that look like his room but much nicer. From the outside look Lu Yan know is it night here so the person in the room is asleep. Lu Yan try to guessed who the person is, he never needs to however. The God flick his finger and the owner sleeping suddenly wake up screaming and jumping from his bed. Lu Yan immediately recognize him as Yan Rui.

Seeing Yan Rui's confused face excites Lu Yan. This is a man that almost killed him before. Lu Yan has a chance to kill him as well, but opted not to. Yet this ungrateful bastard still wants to kill him, he had injured Lu Yan worse than anything he ever experienced. So, anger been engulfed Lu Yan's heart in his days at the cave.

The God gave Lu Yan a grin than suddenly moves behind Yan Rui and slap the back of his head gently. The effect is great though, he screamed as loud as before and start to trembling. Yan Rui so scared he almost pee in his pants again while tears already pour from his eyes.

Lu Yan almost feel sorry for him as Yan Rui kneeled asking for forgiveness to the heaven. The worst come from the humiliation as few people start to barge into his room to look at this odd scene. They are his friends who live around him and worried hearing Yan Rui scream his heart out. The scene is just too funny Lu Yan change his pity into a burst of laugh.

"In this form I still can do anything I please without being detected. Of course, with a higher cultivation base someone might be able to. This time Lu Yan not even have the chance to open his mouth before he already travels. The speed is similar or at least close to the first time, since he can't see where he is going.

As they arrive Lu Yan close his eyes at first, but slowly peek to the place he is in. This place somehow familiar to him, only after a while he realize where he is. It is his home, his actual home.

Emotion burst into him at that moment and Lu Yan run immediately into his parents' room. It has been almost two years since he left his home, the longest time he is separated with them in his life. He always wants to come back and see them again, but he still waits until he at least has something to brag about. His parents are always against him going, so he can't come home empty handed.

This time however even though he can see them, they can't see him. It is enough though at least for him. His tears leak from his eyes as he sees them asleep. This is more than he can ask for. He stays there for quite a while and the God behind him stay silent. Everyone does until Lu Yan back to his sense. It is enough, if he takes longer in this place he will stop thinking about cultivation and come running home at once.

"So, I think we can go to one more place, where will it be?" This time he asks Lu Yan slower, as if he understand what his feeling.

"We already go to my house, so how about if go to yours. Can you do that?" This question is quite unexpected.
