7 Chapter 6
SHE STARES AT THE WINDOW, THINKING AND PLANNING.
***How can I get the key? ***
Obviously, the key would be in Damian's room, but how can I get in there without him knowing. The door opens revealing Damian.
"I'll be having a meeting for about an hour. When I return, I expect you to be showered and dressed in this dress."
He hands her the dress and closes the door. She smugly thinks of getting into his room, but then hears the door click. He locked the door!
"Damn it," She shouts.
She immediately goes into the bathroom and into the drawer of hair accessories.
******There must be something here that I can u---bingo! ******
She finds a bobbing pin and she straightens it out. She walks to the door and begins moving the pin within the lock. Twenty minutes' pass and she was going to give up when she hears a click and the doorknob turns completely. She fists pumps the air in victory. She slowly opens the door and slinks out of the room. She walks quietly, as to not move the chains too much to create a lot of sound, to Damian's room. She turns the knob and finds it unlocked. She opens the door and looks around. The room has the masculine touch but kept modern, a bed with black and white sheets. The carpet, black, same as the rest of the furniture. In fact, this room looked more like an apartment. She goes to the nightstand and opens the drawers. She finds a key.
" Jackpot," she whispers.
She walks quietly back to the other room and sits on the bed. She begins to jimmy the key into the lock, and she hears a click. The strong jaws hold the cuff on her ankle unlatch, freeing her. She jumps up and runs to the window. She opens it and climbs out, slowly going down the three stories. Her feet touch the ground and she take off to the forest, freedom from the mutts that imprisoned her.
The meeting finally over, Damian walks to his room. He starts down the familiar hallway when the feeling of uneasiness takes root. As he approaches, his stomach drops. His bedroom door was wide open, same as Lucia's.
He chants to himself," no, no, no."
He looks in her room and sees the chain and cuff laying on the floor and the window wide open. His eyes darken in anger and he storms out the room, down the hall, and down the stairs.
He minds links his warriors," Lucia has escaped, I want everyone looking for her now!"
He got replies of yes, your majesty and storms out of the home, shifts into his wolf and takes off into the forest.
"I will find you."
