11 First Kill

With creatures of demonic nature approaching us near the path as we ride the horses I couldn't help get worried a little but seeing the Guider calm I kept my cool as well. The demonic creatures varying from different sizes and shapes. Along the path on the trees were hanged skeletons and body parts with some bodies being staked on some trees. The Guider slowed down as we approached near a bubbling purple lake.

"we have to be careful here, we don't want 'it' to notice us" the Guider silently warned me. "it?" I asked, "its notorious demon, it may look friendly but that's how it traps you. You look it in the eyes and you wont even know how you died" he said. "oh..-smirk- well then lets see about who kills who" I say as I get of the horse and approach the lake with shotgun loaded and in hand.

In the middle of a lake a head popped out and looked straight at me. It had the face of a gorilla skull with orange eyes with yellow hue in it. It stood up and it was huge it not only had a head of a gorilla it had a body to fit it with a long tail and what seemed to be thicc bat arms. I avoid looking into it eyes as the Guider warned him not to and started blasting at it.

Since it had a crystal protrusion on its chest it was where I aimed at. With some angry grunting it took to the air and spread it giant wings. So as any normal hunter would I shot at its wings, as it fell I kept shooting it till it stopped moving. I approached it carefully and poked it with the shotgun. It looked straight t me and started to stand up, before it could I shot its head with the shot gun and crushed its head with the machete.

It fell back down as black blood oozed out of it. I looked over to Guider to see his lower jaw wide open. "was I not supposed to do that??" I asked worried. He regained his composure and answered "well not really, I'm just surprised you took down a high class demon in a few minutes when it killed all of the top notch mercs that came to kill it". "oh..so does that mean its body will go for a high price?" I asked being curious about the economy here. seemingly knowing where I was going he somehow conjured up a caravan and made the corpse appear in it. Not that surprised I get back on the horse and we start riding.
