3 The black sheep of the exams

Looking at Black tide island from afar was all one needed to do see the difference between a true island and floating island, the port they were entering was big enough to cover the entire Blue whale island and is was built in front of a magnificent city.

This was Cloud first time seeing another island and he was curious to see all it had to offer. Cloud was so excited that he jumped of the boat before it even docked, by the time it other passages docked he was looking the stalls in the market place.

The food smell good and tasted even better and Cloud was having the time of his life, he eat and eat some more and thanks to awakening his curse bloodline he could eat and digest a lot more that he used to.

Cloud eating habit's ended drawing a lot of attention, well Cloud was too busy eating to notice that a crowd had formed around him that was until someone dropped a bucket of salt water into his food.

The act alone was enough for him to beat the guy who did this to his death, the idiot poked a snake in its home and the food was good that alone was enough for Cloud to kill him. When Cloud got up to take a good look at the fool he saw movement on his left and right, with just a single glance he counted seven of them.

It was a gang of boys from some stupid gang called the BK Boy's and from the looks on the faces of the crowd Cloud could tell that this was not the first time they did this.

Cloud studied the one who dropped the bucket, the guy was tall 2.1 meters and with a body full of muscle, anyone could tell that these guys spent most of his time lifting weights. All seven of the them where tall and muscular which did look intimidating, from looking at them Cloud started to hear the silent whisper saying he that he couldn't take that he should end it before they made him feel real pain.

After hearing that voice Cloud felt an deep a animalistic anger that came from the bottom of his heart and within the anger the was also a deep and primal fear of the voice. A fear that he was not strong enough not to listing to the voice.

A fear the he will break his first and ever promise to his mother. Cloud was lost in the anger and fear when he made the first move, he was surprised that his body was stronger and faster than he remembered.

He reached the one who dropper the bucket first and before he could react and with one massive punch to the temple the bucket dropper was sent flying 10 meters away.

After seeing the bucket dropper laying still and unmoving one of the gang members shouted "he killed him with one punch" the others recovered from their shocked and run like a springbok seeing a lion.

Cloud didn't give chase when they run away he was too lost in feeling, too lost in the exciting new strength he had now.

It was like his body had an endless supply of power and the power setting was always at maximum. Cloud didn't recover from the feel for a long time, when he recovered his senses again the BK gang was nowhere to be seen.

Cloud took a look around and didn't see any of them something told him trust him senses and he closed his eyes and listing to his surroundings it took a moment and there 809 meters to the left and running.

Cloud took off like a bullet after them, Cloud pushed himself to see how fast he was and he was amazed to catch the first one only after 5 seconds have passed. Cloud was shocked to see that he could run over 800 meters in just five seconds that speed was unbelievable, Cloud did not waste time with him one kick was enough to send him flying.

By the time Cloud finish beating up the remaining five he turned around to look at the dark spot in the between two buildings, he sense told him that there was someone there and that person had followed him from the market place.

After moment a slim figure walked out from the shadows with a surprised look on her face, she took a moment to study Cloud while he was doing the same as her. The girl was about fifteen years of age with a well figured body with everything well represented by the outfit she was wearing.

She had a pretty face not a beauty like his mother but she was something to look at. After she finished studying him she said "are you here for the seeker exam", Cloud just nodded his head and she reached into her pocket and took out a card and throws it at Cloud and walks back into the shadows and disappeared.

Cloud caught the card and was surprised to see that written on the card was the location and time for the exams tomorrow morning and Cloud knew he was late and had to run.

The black tide forest is the location of this year's seekers exams, the black ride forest covers 90 percent of the island. The reason it is called the black tide is because every few years a tide of magical beast will come out of the forest in hopes to conquer the entire island.

This event was named the black tided because of the large number of lives lost. The people of Black tide island didn't go to the black tide forest, but today is different just outside the forest the is a huge gathering of people from the young to the old and all of them are here to take part in the seekers exams.

in the middle of the crowd the is a huge raised platform and on the platform the is just one man, the man not much to look at he is in his late 20's and had a normal build body someone you wouldn't pay attention to when you pass him on the street but now he had everyone's attention.

The man is wearing a strange looking budge on his chest, this is a symbol that this man is a professional seeker the man walked to the edge of the raised platform and take a look at the participants and spoke in a calm and low voice but to everyone could hear him perfectly even the one's far away from the platform.

"Listing up this the black tide forest and inside you will find the most dangerous magical beast and you all are in luck because according to the seekers organization the next black tide will occur in the next few days which means that the black tide forest is filled to capacity with magical beast. As a seeker one most have the ability to solve any problem they come up against, so that means you will not be told what you most do to pass the exam and have to figure that yourselves. The is one things I can tell you and that is the test will end in a month"

The professional seeker raised his gun and shouted "ready". As he was about to fire that gun that signed the start of the exam another loud and "YOU THERE STOP AND GET ME SOME WATER".
