9 Necromancer Soul's Surprise

Hidden within the depths in corners of Huo Yuhao's mindscape, an ash grey orb of light, strongly radiating the aura of death, which is the soul fragment of the legendary Necromancer Yi Lai Ke Si.

The necromancer soul has been watching Bei Bei fighting the thousand years old datura snake the entire time, watching the battle through the eyes of Huo Yuhao.

A strange idea suddenly came to mind when it saw the numerous corpses of the recently deceased wild wind baboons, lying on the ground, being carried around by Sun Wu straggling their tails with his strength.

'Hmmm...' The necromancer soul then thought so to himself.

As it then decided to a spark a conversation with Huo Yuhao, who is the host of the body that he is currently residing in.

The necromancer soul tries to establish a mental connection with Huo Yuhao, as he spoke to Huo Yuhao. 'Boy, can you hear me?'

Huo Yuhao was pleasantly surprised by the unfamiliar voice that he inside his head, but nevertheless, he then remembers that Daydream Ice Silkworm explains that there was also another individual that resides within his mindscape.

And that unsuspecting individual is the very same necromancer soul that is trying to communicate with Huo Yuhao, right at this minute.

Huo Yuhao was a bit hesitant, seeing it is his first time communicating with the necromancer soul, 'What do you want, Sir?'

Huo Yuhao does not know the name of the necromancer soul that resides within his mindscape, so he decided to refer to him as sir instead.

'You can call me Electrolux for now, or simply Lux for short.' The necromancer soul conveyed itself towards Huo Yuhao.

'Alright.' Huo Yuhao responded, with a simple nod of his head.

'I want you to ask the other boy, the one that controls the yellow vervet monkey called Sun Wu to let you have one of the corpses of the deceased wild wind baboon. Alright.' The necromancer soul gave clear instructions for Huo Yuhao to follow, but nevertheless, he was confused on the reason.

'If you give me one of the corpses then I will show you something useful that could help assist you on the road of cultivation. It will instead make up for your lack of man power and weakness.' The necromancer soul said so towards Huo Yuhao, communicating through the spiritual connection with Huo Yuhao.

Huo Yuhao was quite curious on the surprised that the necromancer soul was going to bring, so he doesn't seem to see any points to refuse the offer of help from the necromancer soul since it would only benefit him in the long run.

So Huo Yuhao then asked Li Yan, "Is it possible for me to at least keep one of the seven corpses of the wild wind baboon."

Li Yan then shrugs his shoulder and answered, "Well, why not. I don't see how one corpse will be extremely useful to a spiritual attributed body type spirit master. So be my guess."

Li Yan then proceeded to suck the remainder of the corpses of the deceased wild wind baboons into the inventory space of his spirit grimoire, except for the one that was given to Huo Yuhao.

Huo Yuhao then places the freshly intact corpse of the ten years old wild wind baboon into his replica of the twenty four moonlight bridges spirit essence tool, that was given to him when he first joined Tang Sect.

'Good. Once you have arrived at a safe location and are all alone by yourself, with nobody watching. I will teach you how to reanimate the corpse of the ten years old wild wind baboon, and slowly turned it into a corpse puppet that will follow your every command.' The necromancer soul communicated to Huo Yuhao through the spiritual connection.

'What? Necromancy!' Daydream Ice Silkworm who was listening on the conversation with Huo Yuhao, upon hearing the content of the conversation. He was extremely disturbed.

'Well, I will then... Humph!' Daydream Ice Silkworm said, whilst staring intently at the necromancer soul, who was only an ash grey orb of light.

Huo Yuhao was dozing off for a second, as he then listens intently to Daydream Ice Silkworm and the necromancer soul communicating with each other.

Huo Yuhao's train if thought suddenly drifted, 'Necromancy? The ability to control the dead. Do I truly want to go down this path...' Huo Yuhao then clenched his right hand in frustration, as he felt a bit conflicted.

Surely, he seeks revenge on the ones who wronged him, treated him badly and his biological mother. At the same time, the horrible perpetrator who singlehandedly killed his biological mother.

But is he willing to forsake everything for a chance of revenge, whilst losing whatever opportunity he may had at seeking his own happiness.

And it wouldn't have been as easy as defeating the thousand years old datura snake. You have my and Xiao Ya's thanks, Huo Yuhao."

Bei Bei honestly thanks Huo Yuhao at the bottom of his heart, as things won't have gone and proceeded as smooth as intended with the thousand years old datura snake as he thought, without Huo Yuhao's help.

Bei Bei then said to Huo Yuhao and Li Yan, "After Xiao Ya finishes absorbing her purple thousand years old spirit ring, we can then return to the academy. Having analysed the situation, there were only a couple of hundred and ten years spirit beasts within a thirty meters radius of them, but they are in no way near the location of the suspicious red leaf plant.

So Li Yan and Sun Wu then head towards the direction of the suspicious red leaf plant, with the protection of Sun Wu who was already a hundred years spirit beast.

No spirit beasts that are under the age of a hundred years are considered their match. Even a hundred years old spirit beast is smart enough and wary to enter the hunting territories of other hundred years old spirit beast, thereby risking a chance of confrontation, which may resulted in a life and death battle.

When they could easily hunt ten years old spirit beast who are weaker than them, so why would they then challenge someone and risk the inevitable chance of losing everything.
