Ch. 209 What Can I Do For You?

Richard didn't understand his wife's attitude and let Anxia hug his neck tightly, and her tears wet his collar. He was still trying to find out what had caused his wife to become helpless while remembering what had happened to her today. He only knew from Lori that Anxia had gone out of the house, which meant something had happened the moment Anxia left the house.

The next question is, where did Anxia go? Who did Anxia meet? As far as he could remember, there wasn't a single person in this world who could bully Anxia. Who had made his wife cry so desperately like this?

His wife's wailing was still so loud that he was sure that Anxia would not stop crying for the next few minutes. He started tingling in his knees from being bent on the floor for so long while supporting his wife's weight.

Even so, Richard didn't complain—he patted her gently on the back, patiently and caringly, while repeatedly kissing her head.
