99 Chapter 92 Commissioned by Deathknight

The Einzberns especially knew the value of those golden apple tree cuttings and thus when Avari dramatically pointed at my booth and spoke, they cheered along with the auctioneer's announcement. "And the VIP from room thirty-two has purchased the Golden Apple Cuttings congratulations!" She said heartily as my heart bled at spending like ninety percent of the dragon's hoard altogether.

After paying for the cuttings, I heard a servant knocking on the door, and after letting them in, this time the scantily clad maid wheeled in a large crate that was to be holding the would-be saplings for the trees in question.

"Lord of the Unfettered Winds here is your purchased prize. Do you and your servants need more refreshments and appetizers?" She asked dully and I shook my head as I put the cuttings into my space bracelet.

"No. That will be all thank you." I said dismissing the servant who bowed low as she retreated from the room.

For a moment the booth was silent as Avari let people relax and get their breaths back from shouting out their offers for the Golden Apple Cuttings that got to me thankfully. Until Irisveil quietly broke the silence as I just relaxed at the knowledge that I got the main item and resource that I wanted altogether.

"Sir, what do you think the most valuable item will be here?" She asked and I ran my hands through my hair as I shook my head wryly.

"Doesn't matter honestly... I literally spent like a whole dragon's hoard of precious metals and treasure hoard on these cuttings and god knows if my plan to get them to properly grow will even work." I finished with a dawning horror filling my guts at the thought of Poison Ivy failing to help the trees grow healthy. "Anyway, I don't know what the last item is an-"

Before I could even finish my damned sentence, Avari spoke out again loudly but this time with her voice being husky and hushed to build up tension. "It is now time... For the final and most important item to be sold here at the auction this year." She spun around as the maids wheeled in a long case and I raised an eyebrow as Avari literally left the stand and Lord Glory himself took her place on the stage.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately, the lovely Avari is incapable of being within a short distance of this item lest she melt like a candle left beside a roaring fire." Glory said gently as looked the part of a medieval gentleman or nobility as he undid the locks to the case, I shuddered a bit as undiluted light energies filled the auction house but were held back by Lord Glory to keep the energy from killing like a quarter of the 'evil' beings within the auction house.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, let me offer you a side weapon of an upper-level angel that was retrieved by one John Constantine to be the highlight of this auction. The fool owed me several favors and I decided to spice up this year's auction." Lord Glory added proudly as the short sword glowed with holy light that made my eyes sting looking at it.

I would actually be all over that sword, but I already had God Killer in my space bracelet, and I had no interest in dual-wielding... That and as people offered the most outlandish of things directly to Lord Glory, I realized I was now fucking dirt poor unless I wanted to actually bid the whole corpse of the dragon I killed.

Which I wouldn't, as it was my first dragon. No way in hell I was going to lose that.

"Alright, girls it's time for us to go home and get you all settled in," I said standing and stretching as the four girls likewise did the same as they fell in behind me and I frowned as I felt a powerful demonic energy approaching my booth. "Dammit Trigon is coming." I cursed muttering as I considered my options before shrugging as there was little either of us could do without making an enemy of a great many of powerful beings here in the auction house if we began fighting.

So, like a kid being escorted by the school's principal I fearlessly threw open the door to my booth, and followed by my new maids I strode out into the large hallway that circled the auction house's upper floor holding the VIP rooms.

Trigon in this form was a solid ten-foot-tall giant with his stereotypical red skin and large horns atop his head and I wordlessly stared up at him as he huffed making black steam shoot out of his nostrils at how I met his gaze with no issue.

"You are blocking the door... Move." I said blandly and Trigon's grinned in response, with blood-stained teeth being barred at me colored from the previous victim that he munched on.

For a moment we stared at one another with my two purple eyes meeting his fiery glowing four eyes until Trigon broke the silence. "Where is my daughter?" He demanded of me, and I felt the Einzberns recoiling at the demonic energies wafting off of Trigon.

"I said before... Retract your filthy energy lest I devour it." I warned him one last time as my spiritual might rose to push back his demonic power in this lesser form he had taken. "Raven is mine now. She has entered my protection as not only my subject, but she has also become mine in all things." I said and Trigon's eyes tightened on me.

"So, you admit to stealing away my prized daughter?" He questioned and I rolled my eyes at his stupid ass question as I never denied it.

"Yes I 'stole' your daughter, and yes she now calls me daddy as I fucked a baby into her... Now get the hell out of the way so I can return home to continue plowing your daughter." Trigon was a plane and dimensional conquering warlord, but my crass retort actually stunned the demon lord long enough for me to move the girls past the demon who was locked in a mental battle of deciding whether attacking me in the auction house was worth the fury he was feeling at this moment.

And by the time he made his decision, I had already moved the girls out of the way and with a couple more steps we left the auction house as we stepped outside of space in time using my dimensional traveling abilities.
