A Hired Husband For The Billionairess

Olivia is who you'd describe as rich, beautiful and arrogant. She considered herself a woman of worth who knew what she wanted and believed that there was nothing she couldn't get with money. When Olivia is almost cornered by her parents into accepting an arranged marriage, she desperately thinks of a way out and what better way out than using what she had the most to get her way? Scott had a goal but it most definitely had nothing to do with the wealth of the beautiful Olivia. When Scott Richardson is offered a deal to be his long time crush's husband, he wastes no time in accepting her proposal but unlike Olivia's belief that Scott only wanted her money, what Scott really wanted was to win the heart of the woman he loved by any means necessary. Will Scott finally break through the walls of the arrogant and unfriendly Olivia Octavio or will he simply remain as her hired husband for as long as she wished?

Chapter 15

Steven sighed deeply. "You are literally the only person I've seen admire her so much Steve and I swear to God, it's still really weird to me. Don't get me wrong, I get that she's a very beautiful woman but with that beauty comes the nastiest temper. The only reason anyone else even genuinely admires her is because of how intelligent and hardworking she actually is but anything else besides that, I doubt they like being around her for too long. She's the kind of person you'd rather just admire from afar," he stated.

Scott smiled. "You all just think that because you don't actually know her very well. I mean, I admit she does have the nastiest attitude and she's not exactly the nicest person in the world but for me, I see beyond all that. She might have a strong personality but behind that person you all see, is an amazing, hardworking and independent woman who just doesn't want to appear as a weakling to anyone. You know, being a woman in our line of work, you get overlooked and underestimated a lot and I just see her as someone who's trying to fight against the world alone just to prove herself and her worth. The only issue is, she thinks she has to appear arrogant and unbothered to be respected," Scott analysed and Steven could not believe his eyes.

The only thing he could say for certain was that his friend was completely down and that there was absolutely nothing anyone could do to get him up or save him from his deep rooted love for her.

"I feel like there's really nothing I can say to you at this point bro. This woman has completely taken over your mind and there is no stopping you from going for it. The only thing I can do for you now is wish you the best and hope you don't get hurt. Anyways, since your wedding is less than a month away, I just wanted to let you know that if there is anything you need at all, you can just let me know immediately. You know I gotcha," Steven replied.

A smile formed on Scott's face. "Thanks so much man. I really appreciate it," he told him.

"Are you ready to go?" Scott asked Olivia, who was busy checking herself out in the mirror-like window in her living room.

She has always been confident about herself and has never really felt the need to be assured by anyone as to whether or not she looked good.

"I'm very ready," she replied to him quickly with a small smile on her face that made Scott's insides flip.

He stretched out his hands for her to take them and she raised her brows slightly in a questioning manner.

He cleared his throat shyly and kept his hands to himself causing Olivia to roll her eyes.

"Like I've said a thousand times, there's absolutely no need for any kid of body contact whenever we're alone. You don't have to act sweet and I don't have to reciprocate anything. I get that you're excited but how about you do me the favour of containing your excitement till we're outside," she tells him and Scott simply nodded his head in understanding as he didn't want to further embarrass himself.
