Chapter 66 - Return

It was already dark outside, I could see through the holes in the roof and through the window of the house that was partially open. I could hear the kids playing outside even at night.

I could also hear some drunks laughing and I even heard the sounds of carriages passing along the street.

And even after so long, the man still hadn't come back.

I hadn't asked his name and I hadn't even looked at his Status, so I didn't even know exactly who he was, I won't find out until he arrives. Time passed and I was hungry.

But as he told me not to force my body, I continued lie down.

After so much waiting, finally a movement at the door. It was him.

He came in carrying some bags that looked like they had some bread and also some herbs that I didn't quite know what they would be used for. Seeing me lying there looking at him, the man just smiled.

Taking advantage of the situation where we were both silent and I had nothing to do, I took a look at his Status.
