7 Chapter Seven- Go retrieve Harmony Smith

She whips her head around, wiping the aftermath away with the inside of her shirt, avoiding the door window. She uses her thumbs to wipe any remaining mascara, adding a second coat. Opening the car door, she keeps an emotionless face, stepping one foot in front of the other. She rubs her hands down to get rid of any wrinkles and gathers her blonde hair to shield the sides of her face. Not like it would help.

Alex stands, a hardened expression with her Matcha Tea. She grabs the tea with a clammy hand and attempts to walk by her angry friend. His taller frame blocks her view from the school. "What the hell did she do?"

"I don't understand," she keeps a short reply. Sipping the green rich flavor through the plastic straw.

"Hannah was the last to walk out after her man-whore," he does a double-take of her face. "and you were obviously left crying."

"I wasn't crying," she divulged, laughing it off.

He scoffs. "Your dumb little cosmetics cant hide your puffy eyes."

"It's my problem to deal with, leave it alone." Harmony shoves past his heavy shoulders, zig-zagging through cars, her hair being picked up by the wind. The sign, Seaside High, hangs above the huge glass doors. Most of the red-bricked building consisted of huge, floor to ceiling windows throughout the three-story building. The first floor used for the cafeteria, auditorium, and the first gym, and so on. The second floor and half of the third are classrooms.

"No, her bullying has gone on too long. This is the third time this month that the whore has made you cry," he asked with an isolated humorless voice. "Or are you so far up her ass, you can't see the light."

Harmony gripped onto her temples, bookbag bouncing as she speeds up the concrete stairs. She didn't want to hear this. None of it. "Stop."

"Why are you taking up for her." She wasn't taking up for her, she was trying to save her own future. Alex is her best friend. If he acts irrationally, it could come back to bite her. JUINS don't usually socialize, in any way, with outsiders, especially Naturals. Hannah didn't say anything about Alex and Harmony wanted to keep it that way.

"Just shut up, please," Harmony pleaded. The sooner she was alone, the greater.

"Mhph your too scared," he murmured. "of course you are. I can't stand you hurting, you know."

Harmony pushed open the glass door with some arm strength, leaving behind Alex. Her head was killing her and her upper backside throbbed. Dodging people, she disappeared into the girl's restroom.

*Ring

After Seaside High's bell goes off, Harmony's classmates fill into the chemistry room. Posters and science memes hang around the room. Rows of desks eventually lead up to a desk with a laptop and to the side of that, a highly known technology to take place as a board. Victor sets his backpack that the corporation had provided with its logo. After the dozens of tapping feet stop and the late bell goes off, he rests his hands on the edge of the desk as his eyes roam the room, searching for a special someone. Instead, he comes by more than a hand full of empty seats.

Adoni and Enzo could be spotted near the back of each corner, slouched in their seat and grinning. Victor scoffs and does another recheck of his surroundings. The environment is totally different from the orphanage education system. This building was a lot closed off and the rooms are smaller. But Victor wouldn't expect anything less from mortals. They obviously like to live in cramped spaces. Anyone can see that from the houses Victor drove by and a dog he hit by accident just to get here.

There is barely room behind his desk to stretch his wings, not like he would in front of a bunch of irritating youth's. He has been getting weird looks all day and he assumed from his hair. He was getting snotty attitudes from the female staff and determined eyes from the students. Some flirtatious eye flutters from female students and strong glares from the males. That didn't affect Victor the least, it only boosted his ego way beyond recognition. They felt threatened by him and they should.

Victor gives a bright smile, teeth brighter than a whiteboard and that made some of the girls fall into a silent frenzy. This wouldn't be too hard, thought Victor. He picked up a piece of paper.

Okay, names. "Sam Hundson," he called out. A hand was raised. "Okay, then." His index finger slides down the paper as names are called out and 'Here's' are replied. A smirk crossed his face and he looked up. "Harmony Smith!" Nobody.

"Mr. Vic, she and the JUINS are planning the Halloween Dance for this Saturday, the school does it every year. Ugh, I can't wait any longer. They won't let anyone into the gym, not even the teachers," a girl called out. It explains the missing students.

His eyebrows shrug. "Who are The JUINS?"

Another girl let out a giggle. "JUINS is a female club set up at the beginning of this school's existence. Mr. Vic, how could you have not heard this, it is like disrespecting the JUINS directly."

Mummers spread throughout the classroom. "I would give anything to join."

"If they accept me, hopefully, I become more appealing to Dean Miller."

"Do you know that Hannah starves her crew just so they can be skinny. You never see them eat at lunch."

"Did you see the nice tits on Hannah's little slave."

"I heard the JUINS have tons of orgy's on the weekends."

Victor gave out another toothy smile and said, "I see, so I'm guessing these admired JUINS run the school of some sort?"

"Yes, sir." Everyone nods. Adoni taps his fingers on the surface of his desk, thinking.

"Well, I don't give a damn. You," he points to a random student closest to the door. "Go retrieve Harmony Smith."
