41 An Event

During the weekend, is when people relax without worry about the world. Aside from people who have work shifts during the weekend and people who generally have trashy jobs, the weekend is their time for relaxation. And the ones who benefit the most from these divine days are the lifeforms called students. Whether they be kindergarten, elementary or high school, there is no exception since the weekend is a, free for all event.

And what is a good way to spend the weekend?

"… to go home and never come out." Ye Han sneered as he scrolled down the comment section.

When not busy cooking, he would usually distract himself by surfing the internet. Since the manager hasn't said anything about his free time hobby, he would naturally stay silent lest he gets scolded. But he would not play any games in his free time. Although he could multi-task by playing and cooking simultaneously, his principle of solely focusing on his hedonistic conquest without disturbance is what drove him to not play games during his work.

It's not a matter of diligence but it's the inner desire to have fun and fun only, a selfish reason but it resulted in a positive outcome.

And while scrolling he came across a post about weekends. His curiosity piqued, he decided to browse the comment section only to find it was full of cringe.

"Who are these people? Why am I part of this group? I need to get out." But he was helpless. "How do I remove myself from this group?" A genius is a brilliant person but a newbie cannot be possibly taught in a single night. An account barely a week old is bad enough but imagine the owner to be a complete loggerhead when it comes to technology, now that's a recipe for an interesting dish.

But forgetting the lazy take on weekends of our hero, how do other people spend their weekends. A normal person will definitely hang out with their friends, right?

So, we have a group of teenage girls consisting of 4 members. Don't get it wrong, these girls are not part of the rabid fan club that keeps on visiting for the sake of their prince. They are part of the small percentage of customers who are genuinely trying to find a place to hang out and eat good food. And hearing that the new chef of this place can actually make delicious food spurred the 4 girls to verify the truth of the place.

Now if Ye Han were again to see this is he would exclaim in shock, "Is this a hangout place for my school." It is because the 4 girls were once again from his schools and not just any school mates. 2 of them share a rather close relationship with him. The blue-haired beauty, Akari and the bubbly pink Alice. Together with 2 other girls that Ye Han is definitely unfamiliar with, they calmly stepped inside the restaurant only to find the interior rather deserted. All the tables were empty aside from an old man sipping a cup of black coffee.

"Are you sure that this is the place?" The blonde rich looking girl frowned at the lack of people inside.

While Alice and Akari appeared to be unaffected, the other girl looked visibly distressed.

"Were you really not scammed by others? This place looks more desolate than a DVD rental store. At least those stores would have someone behind the counter, unlike this place. They don't even have a single person to greet us."

"Do those things still even exist?" Retorted Alice.

"I don't know. But I'm very sure that Xue'er has been lied to. There is no way that this place will have good food. And maybe perhaps it was just some random creepo luring her here."

"Uhhhhhhhhh." The shy Xue'er immediately hid behind the stern Akari in panic. Meanwhile, Alice stared at the blonde distastefully.

Akari stroked the head of the scared girl, calming her down. "Stop bullying her."

"Akari's right, Eleanor." Alice chimed. "We can't blame it all on Xue'er. You have to remember that each one of us read the same post. And people were genuinely recommending the place. Aside from the self-proclaimed fangirls that I have no idea of, almost everyone praised the good food. And your theory is very unlikely to happen."

"Maybe it was an elaborate scheme to lure the four of us here?"

"You need help."

"The one whos getting help is the person who pranked us." As her voice trailed inside, a dagger slowly took shape on her palm.

"What the-" Alice cried out in alarm.

"Even if you have a license, you should stop bringing your weapons out in public." Akari tried reprimanding the blonde. But one word to take note is tried, as the girl appeared unperturbed by Akari's words.

"Who cares? This is a pre-emptive move on my part. Ever heard of self-defense?"

*sigh*

Akari and Alice can only sigh on their friend's antics.

Meanwhile, somewhere not inside the restaurant.

"Oh yes, keep on coming baby." A woman said huffing, with her face contorted in perverted ecstasy. This woman is none other than the manager. For the reason she was out of the restaurant, it was because she was participating in a convention she personally organized.

What convention, someone might ask? Obviously, a fan convention aimed specifically at the fanatical and loyal members of the Entente.

Entente? A dedicated organization aimed to present pure and unadulterated adoration towards their respective Prince. A group not even a year old, it has withstood the most ferocious and brutal upheavals before its formal inception. A history painted with cancer and toxicity, an amalgamation of the horrors a human being is capable of. The bravest of the keyboard warriors and the most valiant of fangirls clashed against one another to determine who is the better Prince of them all. A chronicle none better than a savage's sense of hygiene.

The conflicts continued to rage on for a while, tearing apart friendships and destroying relations of different women. Until one day, a courageous and wise champion united (by shipping through the use of fanfiction, p.s. people are weird) the hearts of her comrades and brought them under one other.

Now, the scattered faction has gathered together. Throwing their differences away, they marched towards a future of peace and harmony. Further expanding the Entente and flaming other fandoms, the group has evolved into a state where they could confidently proclaim to the world that, they are invincible! They are unstoppable! They are one!

And now celebrating their first month anniversary, the manager has managed to take advantage of such momentous occasion and arrange a celebration with the kidnapping quartet as the protagonists. In partnership with the de facto leader of the Entente, the week-long of planning is what it took to organize the whole event. And together they brought joy towards the fans and the manager's bank account.

As the manager joyfully peered towards the uncomfortable quartet, she could not contain the wide grin on her face. To make the event more successful, she decided to bring all of the staff, leaving the poor cook to man the place by himself. To why she did not bother to close the restaurant in the first place, "every penny counts" is what she would explain.

She then locked gazes with the leader of the Entente and both displayed their own perverted smiles. "I should have charged for the picture taking." She thought out loud. "Forget it. All the merchandise is selling well and I've got to thank Steve and Freyja for the fact that they created quality merchandise in such short notice. The fans could consider themselves lucky since it's their 1st month anniversary and besides, those 4 idiots can't beat my Ye Han in every single way possible. I wonder what he is doing right now."

*Ding*

Speak of the devil he shall appear, not quite exactly. It was a customer notification. "Someone actually went inside to dine? I thought that all my customers were fans of those idiots.

*ring ring*

Speak of the devil once again and he shall truly appear. Now in the form of sound waves, Ye Han could be said to have announced his presence.

"Hello, manager." He respectfully stated. "There are customers here."

"I know. I was already notified."

"About that, there seems to be no one here and I'm left work alone. How am I supposed to-"

"What's that?! Was that the sounds of a subordinate defying his own boss I heard?"

"…no. I will be entertaining the customers by myself."

"Then can you clarify what I just heard earlier?"

"It was a subordinate respectfully fulfilling the decree of his manager."

"Good. Now get back to work. And do your best to satisfy the 4 of them. Don't worry, you'll be getting a raise (because I love you). See ya, ciao."

"Thank you very much!"
