1 The beginning

The fuck was that?

It was all so sudden, one moment I was in bed, sleeping soundly with my wife, and then the next moment, boom!

For some reason, a helicopter came out of no where and crash into the house, on instinct, I rushed over my wife and used my own body to shield.

"You died, I'm afraid." A voice spoke

Causing me to turn, startled.

"Jack!" My eyes widened at my wife's voice I turned and was instantly tackled. I managed to keep my body balanced, realizing who this was I hugged her tightly as if I was afraid she would leave me.

The beautiful chocolate colored skin, with black hair and onyx eyes, but I smiled at her smile, she looked relieved to see me as I her, and that brought joy to my heart.

But the words of the light being came through me.

It struck me like lightning.

I died?

Wait a moment.

She seemed to let go and have the same idea as me.

"What are you, and you said he died?"

I put my arm around her shoulders and squeezed them tightly. On the bright side I knew death was not the end, because of this, I feared nothing. Only that our souls will be destroyed by a being of strength from beyond.

"What do you want from us?" I asked curiously

"To give you a chance another one at that?"

"Why are we that special?"

"Indeed, you are my defendant after all?"

I frowned, before nodding in agreement, that would explain a few things, why her view of things are different compared to others. The views of everything when it comes to our way of life, but just to be certain, I need to know what he is.

I nodded, then turned to my wife, "what do you think?"

She had a thoughtful look on her face, "what if we don't?"

"If we die a second time?"

He shook his head.

"If you die a second time it won't change, you'll just reincarnate again, if you choose to go heaven just pray, and the cycle will be stopped. However, your soul is sealed, so no being can ever take away your fate."

Me and my wife exchanged glances, then my wife asked an important question? "Will we ever return back to our original world?"

God nodded his head.

"I will give you the means to travel to other worlds, and you will be immortal so you don't have to worry about dieing in the process, however, the downsides is that you can't choose where you are going to go"

I nodded, "fair enough."

"We accept." My wife added with a small smile, causing me to smile.

God pulsed brightly, "very well then. I wish you luck on your journey."

The second he said that, my entire world flashed a brilliant white, before the world faded to black.

I blacked out.
