1 Chapter 1

I was rushing down the street after just finishing my part-time job, I still had some work left the teacher had given me which I hadn't yet finished. As I was walking down the street, I suddenly felt a wet drizzle on my cheeks, and I looked up to see the grey sky rumble as it started to pour down on me.

"Ahhh... bollocks I'm never working overtime again."

I quickened my pace and started running down the wet path until I stopped at the crossing. The crosswalk sign was red but there was no one around plus there wasn't a single car on the street so I decided to just quickly cross it. I don't know if it was the rain or if my shoes had worn off or just maybe both, next thing I know I'm on the ground.

I opened my eyes and the world around me had gone crimson red. I staggered as I tried to stand up, suddenly I saw a light turned red by my blood speeding towards me. I realized I needed to move out of the way, but my feet stumbled as I was still shook from the fall, the vehicle tried to skid away but alas it was too late. Seems like it's Lady luck's turn to abandon me, the last thing I remember thinking is "Is this really how I die?" Before darkness took over.

What happens after you die you ask? Nothing, I've been stuck in darkness for the past 30 minutes and nothing, when I say nothing, I mean I can't hear, see, feel, smell or hell even taste anything. I have a feeling if I stay here for too long, I will lose my mind. I've been trying to move around but it's as if I've been tied down by these weird jelly-like constraints which only allow me to squirm a little. As I was thinking this, I suddenly saw a light suddenly illuminate the darkness and even my constraints started to push me towards the light.

Last time a light came close to me it screwed me over no way in hell was that happening again. I started to squirm, move and heave with all my might but all seemed for naught as I got pushed closer and closer to light, as if a moth was trying to resist its attraction to a flame.

Alas I met the light and as soon as I did, I heard voices, "Congratulations, it's a boy."

"Thank you Madam Elizabeth, you were of great help and your support was much appreciated."

I'll say, I'm a little perplexed at this point as to what is going on, not even ignoring the fact that I was being lifted by what looked to be a middle-aged woman, but what truly shocked me was what came next.

"Oh please don't say that, it was my duty."

At that point a man barged in and stopped to look around towards the woman in the bed first then at me and said, " No, credit is due where it's due Madam Elizabeth, you have my thanks for saving my wife and my son. The Malfoy family will always remember you."

He took me in his hands and lifted me up, which is when I suddenly saw my arms, they were of a child's! A baby! Wait, what? No, have I been reborn, and did I just come out of... no, never shalt today's events be spoken of again? Wait more importantly what do they mean by Malfoy, don't tell me...

"Have you two decided on a name for the child?"

"Yes, he'll be called Draco, Draco Malfoy. He'll be the greatest wizard to be ever born."

"Ahh... a very powerful name indeed."

F*ck my life.

-----3 Years Later-----

I must say I had just about become accustomed to my well crazed lifestyle, don't get me wrong I wasn't the one with a crack in the skull it was my dear father, Lucius Malfoy. Well, he wasn't always that crazy, but an event took place which shook him, hell from what I heard it shook the wizarding world.

One of the strongest wizards in the country had been stopped by a mere child, yes it was little Harry Potter surviving Voldemort. Now why did it cause father dear to snap? Well from what I can guess Harry's father and mine were on opposite terms ever since their days at Hogwarts and Harry had survived a magical attack from an extremely powerful wizard and he wanted me to be of the same standard which led to not-so-great things.

One might call them dark rituals to increase my magical powers, but our family calls them 'daily tuition'. Pretty sure it isn't normal to try and put a beast's blood in the body of 2-year-old and keep him floating for the rest of the night. See that's not the worst, the worst is probably I'm being forced to learn potions and herbology as I quickly picked up reading as I could already read from my past life. That prick gives just gives me so much work, I feel like this is child labour and I want to learn magic not bloody chemistry.

As I was dazed in my own thoughts while having my breakfast a voice suddenly called for me.

"Draco, honey stop daydreaming and finish your food. Your father has called you to the basement as soon as you finish."

""Ahh... Yes mother."

I gulped down my breakfast and rushed down the stairs because I today might just be a bit special.

"Took you long enough. Sit down, do you remember what we're going to do today?"

"Bond with a powerful creature to allow me to use magic, father."

"Yes, you must know I'm only doing this because I have high expectations of you, you've achieved a high level of mental maturity at a young age allowing your magic to reach maturity faster, but it's still not good enough. You must always strive to be the best and nothing else. Also do you know what you'll be bonding with?"

Yes father, I know to come second is to come last." Now I didn't entirely believe that, but I had once tried arguing my point and well I learnt never to do it again. God, my cheeks hurt for the 3 days straight after that.

"Well, I'm not entirely sure, is it a griffin?"

"No, not a griffin. We'll be bonding with a creature which is known to be the most sensitive to magic in the world, the Nidhogg Dreki."

"What sort of creature is that?"

"The Norse dragon."
