6 Wrong Target?

Orion managed to speak, but it came out as a nervous stutter,

"He...hello."

The Man didn't mind thinking him to be too drunk. He opened his hand and showed the key to the Orion,

"Is it yours by chance? "

Orion looked at keys and found them familiar. Not sure if because of alcohol or fear, his mind was a little slow in operating.

He then stumbled and checked the inner key pocket of his jeans and found his apartment keys missing.

"Yes, that's my apartment key."

The man smiled warmly and said,

"Here you go, I found it lying on the floor just now. "

He handed that key to him. Orion put that back in his jeans and thanked the guy.

With Adrenaline rushing in his system, he quickly walked out of the hotel and broke into a stumbling jog to his apartment.

The man saw as the drunk college boy walked out of the hotel and stumbled on his way. He snapped his hand and the lobby of the hotel suddenly became bright from the earlier dim condition.

The receptionist was standing at reception. Three men were sitting on the lobby chairs. Few guests were moving along the stairs. It was like the whole place was always like this.

He dished out his iPhone from his pocket.

He quickly unlocked it by his face lock and opened the most recent chat on the messaging app. There was a picture inside it, he opened it.

The picture surprisingly was of Orion taken while he was chatting with his friends on the college campus. He swiped to the next picture which was of details of his profile along with his registered photo which was in the portfolio file of the government.

He scrunched his eyebrows and messaged the number who had sent these details

"Are you sure this is the target?"

He was about to put the phone back in his pocket when his cell vibrated.

It was a reply from that number.

"Yeah, why? any problem?"

Annoyance became more apparent on his face as he typed back.

"Then idiot, why is he normal?

I didn't get any magic fluctuations of Mage or any sign that he was a conjurer?"

This time there was few minutes of a wait before a reply came,

"Maybe there is some mistake. We had the name of him, so he was the only one who matched.

Let me report back to re carry the investigation. "

Man tsked in Annoyance and put back his phone into his pocket. He exited the hotel while hiding his face partially by his hat in front of the camera.

Orion reached the home and plopped down on the chair in his room. He thought for few seconds but due to alcohol in his system, he could not remember exact details.

He slowly thought about the issue and while thinking, collapsed into a deep sleep in the chair.

In the morning, an alarm from his phone woke him up. He lifted himself to the bathroom to fresh himself up.

When he was in the middle of brushing, his mind suddenly jolted in full awake mode. Details of the previous night came into his mind but the face of a man was not clear in his memories.

Slowly he convinced himself that he was seeing things. If that man was from his dream why would he speak and return his key like any normal person? He would surely have tried something more.

He must have in the drunk stupor, wrongly identified him as the man in his dream. He was thinking about his theory when he suddenly saw time on his phone.

'He was late!'

He quickly dashed into the shower and changed into fresh clothes and ran to the restaurant.

Today was the holiday weekend, so Many chefs were taking off to spend time with their families. Therefore only limited chefs will be on duty today.

He entered the kitchen from the back door and saw several side chefs already working on the dishes. He quickly changed into his chef jacket and inquired about the next dish on the menu and began its preparation.

Tyson watched as Orion began to start his preparation, he nodded and focused on his dish. Today he was also busy, as all VIP customer orders were required to go through him.

The Dish name was Grilled Halibut with peach and pepper salsa. He first took the ingredients like fresh lemon juice, one-pound peach, half-pound habanero pepper, and red bell pepper for making Salsa.

He sliced the green onions into thin strips and also chopped the fresh arugula. He combined the all above ingredients with minced clover and tossed gently and put them aside for standing.

He then combines fresh lemon juice, oil, paprika, and clover to form the mixture. Then he coated the mixture on the skinless halibut fillets and let it stand for a few minutes.

After fifteen minutes, he removed fish from the marinade and discarded the remaining marinade. Then placed the fish on the medium-hot grill rack coated with cooking spray.

He gently sprinkled black pepper and salt over fish according to suitable taste. After grilling it for three minutes from both sides he presented it on the plate along with salsa to serve hot to the customer.

The waitress Jenny came and winked at him. He responded with a smile,

"Grilled halibut "

She took the tray and went towards the serving area. Waiters and Chefs have a helping relationship with each other.

If a customer likes the dish, he will praise the cook and leave some tips for the waiter. If a customer was not satisfied, one who would be listening to a bad review will be the waiter instead of the Chef.

Hence both of them were on good terms with each other often. Similarly, Jenny was a young lady from another college who works part-time as a waitress in this restaurant. She and Orion had quite friendly relations with each other.

Tyson finally finished his dish of broth chicken noodles and came to check on other chefs. Upon watching all of them working hard he smiled in satisfaction.

"Yes, good. This is the 'Only Food Restaurant ', I know."
