He is living in an apartment, has some nice friends, has a decent-paying job at restaurants where he enjoys working till late at night to get money to pay all of his bills. But one fateful night, he accidentally discovers that the world is not the same as he used to think, when he finds out his friendly, drunk landlord is a Vampire. Things don't help him much when he pokes his head more inside this invisible curtain separating the Hidden world. He finds out that not only Gods exist but other things like Mages, Conjurers, Werewolves, Demons, Dragons, etc. But his Excitement of discovering the Hidden world soon turns into horror when he realizes that All of these supernatural are now on the hunt to kill him. Well, not All as it seems. He became 'Wanted Man' in the magical community, the day he discovered that it exists in reality, not some myth. Reasons he doesn't know, he is suddenly running for his life and somehow finds himself in the Land of Tokyo. His good wishers or what he thinks them as wants him to start his new life there but looks like Hunt is still on. Follow Orion Trudger on his journey through discovering and embracing the Hidden world. Is He just a normal guy who accidentally discovered this hidden world or is he drawn to it for something else entirely? December 2012, Earth.....
Ominous dark clouds gathering in the sky. Wind and thunder howling in madness.
A lonely man was sitting amidst the vast Barren wilderness. Darkness all around him, spirits and phantoms circling around him.
In his ear, the Bluetooth speaker was continuously spitting noises,
"Don't do this…..come back. We can talk. We can find a solution….
Are you listening! ….
Stop… You are going to throw your life….that's it…"
The man stood up and in one motion removed the speaker from his ear and threw it on the ground. He stepped on it to reduce it into pieces, ending any prospect of communication.
He undid his coat and threw it over his shoulder,
With Madness in his eyes, a small grin on his lips. He began walking ahead.
'Step,
step,
step'
Thunder began grumbling louder, sound so harsh threatening to break eardrums. Winds raging like a storm all over the area but The lone man walking through all of it with a small grin on his face.
Soon Clouds congealed to take a vague outlining of the unknown form, it opened its mouth in a deep voice,
"Stop Mortal. You can't accomplish your goal.
This is the last chance to return to your world, Don't overstep the Boundaries."
The man chuckled lightly and flicked his finger. The Cloud figure dispersed into fractions. He walked step by step and reached the point where there was a fracture in the dimension of this world.
Ignoring his friends, enemies, Gods, demons, he was here.
His mind was like a broken piece that was not able to think straight. Insanity would be the right word to describe it. He was grinning, licking his lips in anticipation of what was coming next.
In the place far far away, the middle of the bustling city. There is a high-rise building with the most powerful humans on the top floor were huddled together.
One Man was repeatedly screaming on the phone, his face filled with a mixture of terror, pain, and confusion.
Suddenly the line he was speaking to went dead. All of the people took a sharp breath.
The phone from his hand fell on the floor breaking into pieces. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Send an Extinction Alarm!"
A woman sitting on the chair stood up in horror.
"Are you out of mind?..."
One person stepped ahead and kept his hand on her shoulder stopping her mid-sentence.
"Are you sure?"
The man who was talking on the phone was holding his head in his lap. He was struggling to cope up with the pressure. He replied in a small but firm tone,
"Yes, I am sure. "
In a few seconds, all Humans living with powers outside of this realm were informed of the Extinction level threat to Mankind and Earth.
Most were horrified, there was a vast discreet movement in several parts of the world reacting to this threat, preparing for it.
In the highly secured building, underground, an abandoned Church in Europe.
"Threat! How can it be? From which Pantheon it is?"
Several people were sitting around at the table, a young man raised his question in panic.
The old man sitting in the leader position sighed deeply,
"This time the Extinction threat is not because of some extra-dimensional entity. This time, Yes, For the first time, it is because of a Foolish human ."
All people unaware of this sensitive and secret news stood up from their chairs. Those who knew just sat there quietly without any response.
"How can it be? What is he doing? Summoning or Helping in Descent of someone?"
The old man chuckled nervously and said,
"Well not descending or Summoning, he is going with the intention to slay a god. "
There were no horrifying gasps or mocking laughter. Only pin-drop silence in the room. There was terror and shock written on every face there.
God, deity, or Divinity are the beings who are always followed by humans since ancient times. Even now Conjurers who hold powers took these powers from Gods and such.
Mages, the small community doesn't respect or believe in following them but even they know not to challenge things that are higher on the food chain.
Going against such beings, unimaginable to humans even when they are holding the most power in their realm.
"So we have to immediately prepare for the consequences…."
Several of these types of meetings were held in various places in the world. Top Members who were given access to this knowledge were astonished and horrified at the news.
On this day, There was a new era of Magic starting in Humanity. And like Many other starting of new eras, this too would be written by the Blood of countless Conjurers, Mages or Normal humans all the same.
Period of Conflict, for evil beings this was a period of gaining power. They live to strive in these periods.
So starting from today these would also come out of their hiding holes to take advantage of the chaos.
This was the start of the Mayan prediction of the end of the World....or is it?
