2 My opinion

A few moments after his disappearance, the villagers started chatting, gossiping, and even begun a rumour on who will the unlucky couple be.

Mariko couldn't bear the peoples chitchats, so she stood up and started walking home. Adonis followed after her.

While walking, Adonis had ideas on why there's another prophecy about some dangerous children, and on who the parents of those children be but he didn't dare to share this thoughts to his spouse for she might fire him with questions. Seeing his unfazed state, Mariko waved her hand in front of him and asked, "Is something bothering you? you haven't said a word to me after we the crowd."

He didn't reply. Being annoyed with his face, she punched his left arm which was able to make him return to reality. "Ow!, what was that for?!" She clearly ignored his question and started to continue walking."Did you hear what I just said you ignorant woman?!" Hearing those words were enough to piss her to her limits, he didn't know he was the one who ignored her first.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know what I was thinking." Speaking with a calm yet sinister voice was enough to make Adonis loose his soul."I couldn't help it, you were ignoring me and I couldn't think of anything else to make you come back." Adonis hadn't realize he was actually ignoring her. Maybe because he was so busy thinking, he forgot about the love of his life was walking beside him.

Unable to find words the right words, Adonis apologized, and walked ahead of her.

At home.

Adonis was still quite while lazily sitting on the floor and Mariko could not bear any of this anymore. She sat down next to him and asked in a soft voice, "You can tell me if something's bothering you. You can tell me anything and I promise I won't overthink it." Being moved by her words, Adonis started talking about what was on his mind without even giving himself a warning that the beast inside her might get awaked.

He took a deep breath and begun speaking,"Don't take this so seriously, it is just a thought on who the parents of this children be and why there is another prophecy." He paused and looked into her eyes. They were filled with curiousness. He continued,"I was thinking that we will be those childrens parents because of our deep background and family roots, and also our capabilities. That's all i could think of as of now---" before he could even finish his sentence, Mariko gave him a fierce look. "WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU THINK OF THAT?!".

Adonis felt like he was punched in the chest because of those words. She obviously didn't hear out his reason on why he thought of that. "Look, all I'm saying is that Meccah will give us those children to raise for the sake of the world. Even if we like it or not, we need to accept it." He already knew he pushed the beast out of its cage.

"You don't even have a clear explanation and proof that we are the unlucky couple!" She said with great rage. "Stop thinking about that rubbish in your thoughts." He ran out of words to defend his opinion, instead he kissed her cheek and patted her head in thought that it will calm the beast.

"Stop it!" His beast commanded. A light blush can be seen on her face. He laughed at her and said, "It was just my opinion don't get so mad. I only came up with that opinion because we're the only ones in the village who are fearless enough to even kill a person using our bare hands." He smirked at his own thoughts.

Mariko didn't say a word for he was right at some part. They were the only two people who aren't afraid of getting into a fight.

While calming his wife, Adonis looked at clocked and saw it was already time for dinner. "Oh it's dinner time." He whispered, "Why don't we grab a plate and continue this talk tomorrow?" She nodded in agreement.

They walked to the kitchen and scanned the whole room to find something good to eat. Afterwards, get some shut eyes.
