11 Chapter 9

'Oh? Are they done chatting already?' I peeked out from behind the tree. My eyes widened in surprise as I see the group walking in my direction. Did they see me or something?

I then heard a chuckle, "Yes we did see you." Amelia looked from behind them, her eyes twinkling with surprise and happiness as she dashed towards me and tackled me to the ground.

"Ow!" I cried out in pain as my bump hit the cold hard dirt ground.

Amelia hugged me tightly, I felt like my bones were being crushed as I struggled to breathe, "A-Ame-li-a....To-To ti-ght." I managed to choke out.

Amelia let go of me as I took a big gulp of air.

Amelia smiled at me cutely as she had never almost choked me from a hug just now.

I sighed and made eye contact with the boys. Xlec smirked and winked at me.

I stared at him.

And flashed a middle finger in response.

Damon snickered and Xlec responded by almost knocking Damon off his feet by waving his hand, summoning an extremely strong gust of wind directed in his direction.

Xlec smirked at him and Damon summoned a lighting strike, Xlec jumped in fright as he heard the loud crackle, the lighting almost hitting him.

The grass turned to ashes as it sizzled loudly.

Arties waved his hand, metal walls rising from the ground, enclosing them.

I could hear bangs and sizzles coming from it, I sweat dropped and gave an awkward smile.

Amelia was clinging to my arm, Arties and Kain was chatting with each other.

"So...Can we go back now?" I asked.

I collapsed on the ground and laid down for a while, on the way back, was probably the worst trip I have ever had.

Xlec and Damon wouldn't stop arguing, throwing insults from left to right. Shouting loudly, hitting each other.

Oh my God, I wanted to kill both of them so badly.

Amelia rushed towards me, "Are you okay Kari?" She asked worriedly. I nodded weakly as Arties walked over and helped me up.

"I want to go back to my dorm..." I mumbled, "How about I take you there?" Arties suddenly offered. I showed a stunned expression on my face, quickly changing into a stoic one.

"There's no need for that. I will just ask Amelia to help me. Thanks for your suggestion though."

"

I insist, besides Amelia still needs to hand in the cores." Arties said, "I can wait." I replied back quickly, no way in hell am I going to go back with this guy to my dorm!

Imagine all the rumours that will appear and circulate around the school!

And those girls who also live in my dorm? I bet 200% that they will start kissing Arties's ass and try to flirt or gain his attention.

'Spare this girl from seeing your puckering lips and makeup caked face as you try to get Arties, okay!?' I shivered as I thought of the scene.

I once again politely declined but Arties was stubborn and didn't give in.

I sighed at my defeat as Arties dragged me to the dorm as I told him the directions, I made him wear a mask and a hoodie to cover his hair. I thought he wouldn't do it and changed his mind about accompanying me to my dorm.

But surprisingly, he actually did it...'Does he really want to see my dorm looks like that badly?'

Maybe because he's a Prince he needs to know what others' room looks like? No doubt his form is probably much more extravagant than ours.

Arriving at the dorm, the glass doors slide open as I tapped my card on the scanner, feeling the burst of cold air, Arties dragged me to my room.

Standing in front of my door, "Uh, thanks for bringing me back. You can go now." I said as I looked at him. He simply nodded at me and stood there.

'Oh God...is this the moment where he won't go off unless he sees me going in?!'

After a few minutes of my hand resting on my door's handle, Arties hasn't moved one inch from his position.

I concluded I was right and I bade Arties a goodbye, slamming the door in his face. I heard footsteps as they got softer and softer.

I groaned as I cracked my back and my neck, stretching. 'I should go take a shower...'

Getting an oversized black shirt and blue shorts, I got into the bathroom and started to shower.

~After showering~

I yawned loudly as I dried my hair with a fluffy towel. Entering the space room, I saw Shadi snoring loudly on the couch, I went upstairs to see Yuki knocked out only my bed, her arms wrapping tightly around a shark plushie as she softly snored.

I couldn't see the others so I checked the training room and forest room but couldn't find them either.

I went back upstairs, I got startled as the hallway suddenly got longer and 7 doors appeared. Walking up to them, they had a symbol on each door, showing the rooms which belonged to the spirit pets.

Zeke had a black, glowing dragon, it was curled up into a ball with elaborate designs on its body and was on the door.

Austin had a grey shaded coloured skull on his.

Pyshic had a pale blue rose, Yuki had a dark blue shark, colourful and elaborate corals surrounding it, Isabella had red demon wings and a yellow halo above the demon wings on hers and Sazuki had an image of animals crowding together.

'They must all be asleep...'

I went downstairs, opening a cabinet that stored extra blankets and pillows, taking two pillows and one huge blanket, I made my way over to Shadi.

Lifting his head and laying it gently on the pillow, I covered him with the blanket as I lifted his arm and put the pillow in between so he could hug it.

I sighed as I saw his calm and peaceful expression. Yawning once again, I exited the space room and went to sleep.

'I don't understand. Why am I here? Why is this happening?' I internally sweated profusely as I look at the four boys in front of me.

Turning my head to the side, I saw Amelia enjoying the meal I cooked for her, she looked like she had just ascended from the heavens.

Earlier today, I was dragged by Amelia here. You know I was excited to see Amelia and the boys get closer despite me being like the sixth wheel.

But that's okay! I get to see true love appear in front of me.

But...the boys have been staring at me intensely. And I have a feeling that they achieve some sort of goal when they invited Amelia. I was..still trying to figure that out.

Xlec was trying to initiate a conversation with me which I smoothly avoided by chatting with Amelia.

I could see him pouting out of the corner of my eyes as Damon gave an amused expression at his failed attempt.

Xlec stuck out his tongue at him in disdain.

Amelia suddenly clapped her hands together, "I forgotten! We are gonna have a field trip in a few days!" I wanted to hit myself when I heard that.

"Yea, to MY kingdom," Damon said arrogantly, his face showing a smug expression.

"Do we get special privileges if we go with you? Cause if you do, I'm sticking on." With no shame, I was definitely gonna stick with him.

Kain nodded, "Yup, but it depends who's lucky to get teamed up with us."

"I see..." I mumbled as I poked my fork into my food.

~Fast forward to the trip~

"I can't believe we're taking planes to get to Dirus.." I said in disbelief as I looked at the big bodies of the planets lined up.

This just shows how poor the schools from earth were... Well... Maybe the school I went to was just broke.

Xlec waved at us from the stairs to the aeroplane, "You gonna come up here or are you gonna just admire!?"

People around us stared at me and Amelia in envy, I wasn't even supposed to be in the team but Amelia only.

But...Xlec bribed the teachers to put me in their group too.

I sighed as I was dragged by Amelia to the plane. She was super excited as she has never gotten onto a plane before as she wasn't able to afford it.

I could only assume a school sent a vehicle to pick her up from her hometown.

Entering the plane, I was stunned by the extravagant design. My eyes sucked in every corner and area of the plane.

Xlec suddenly popped right up in front of me, scaring me. He grinned widely, "Like it?" I subconsciously nodded as he grabbed my hand suddenly and led me to a sitting area.

I regained back my consciousness and took my hand back from his grip.

I really felt uncomfortable with skin contact if it wasn't the same gender.

Stunned, Xlec gave a frown before gesturing to a seat.

Amelia was sitting next to me, playing with a small screen that held controls to her chair which kept raising up and down.

I placed down my backpack withheld all my essentials whole my luggage was in the special containers which were somewhere on the plane.

I walked around the plane, exploring it more. There was a long wide table with a white cloth draped over it, on it were deserts and food.

There were glass plates and cups secured under a round metal thing that was nailed to the table.

I assumed they did that to prevent the plates and glass from falling onto the ground and crashing.

There was also a counter which held all kinds of drinks, two toilets. One for female, one for male.

It was fancier than my living room in my past life.

"How is it?" I felt someone's hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see Kain with a smile on his face.

"It's...nice... it's very fancy." I voiced my thoughts out loud.

"That's great, wanna play some games with me?" (Kain)

My eyes lit up at the invitation and I nodded.

He brought me over to a table that held 4 computers.

I sat next to him and opened the laptop, seeing the password.

I almost hacked into it by instinct. Luckily, I stopped myself in time and turned to Kain to ask for the password.

He told me and I entered in, picking a game.

We played together until we had to go back to our seats due to the plane launching off. Getting comfy in my seat, I asked, "How long is the plane ride gonna take?"

"1 day, Diruis is the furthest country from here," Damon answered.

I nodded, thank God I packed extra clothes in my bag. "There's a bathroom right?" Damon nodded.

That's good...

Walking around, I spotted 7 doors.

Opening one of them, I realised it was a bedroom. I checked the other rooms and noticed it was the same thing.

Walking back to the main room, I asked Arties if the bedrooms were ours and he nodded.

Bringing me over to one of the bedrooms, I thanked him as I look at the large-sized bed.

I picked the door, closing my eyes. I entered my space room. I didn't have a chance to do it, but now I do.

~In the space room~

As usual, I saw Shadi lounging on the sofa, asleep. Going to the kitchen, Austin was eating a bag of chips. I greeted him and went to the fridge to get a soda pop.

Drinking it, I went to the forest room to go check up on Sazuki. I was shocked when I saw a cute wooden house, seeing the animals surrounding it.

I cautiously approached the house. Luckily, the animals didn't seem to take me as a threat so I entered the house.

Sazuki was surprised but happy to see me. He hugged me tightly, almost making me spill my soda pop.

"Where did this house come from?" I asked, amused as I looked at the simple interior.

"The animals built it for me!" He said with a smile.

I expressed 'I see', as he led me over to a table with two chairs and started chatting with me. Why isn't he just a living version of Snow White?

Telling me about the things he could do with his attribute. I stayed there for a few hours before eventually going back.

Luckily, no one noticed my disappearance and thought I was sleeping in my room.

Kari stumbled down the staircase from the aeroplane as Amelia held her worriedly. "Why didn't you tell me you had air sickness?! I could have brought some pills for that."

"I-i didn't know..." Kari managed to choke out.

Covering her mouth again as Kari vomited into the plastic bag Amelia carried for her.

Meanwhile, you could hear Arties talking on the phone. "Bring some air sickness relief pills to the airport." He hung up as he looked at Kari, showing a worried expression on his face.

Kari sat in the black limo, breathing a sigh of relief. Her stomach had finally calmed down after Arties had handed her some pills which, she took gratefully.

"Are you sure your okay now Kari?" Amelia asked for the nth time. Kari sighed and nodded, "Yes I'm fine Amelia. No worries."

Taking my phone out of my backpack, I opened a map app. "Where are we staying at?" I asked.

"Sikan Hotel," Damon answered. I searched it up on my map, seeing that we were going to arrive in a few minutes.

I kept my phone back in my bag as I waited for us to arrive.

Kari took her luggage from the trunk as she made her way over to the Lobby who had somehow managed to get there faster than her despite Kari being the first one to dash out from the car.

Kari saw Damon chatting with the receptionist at the counter as she handed him 6 room cards.

Damon handed everyone their own cards. They will be rooming in pairs. Kari will go with Amelia. Arties with Xlec and Damon with Kain.

"Come on Kari! Let's go see our room!" Amelia dragged Kari away.

"Meet us down at the Lobby at 3 pm!" Kain said to Kari before she got completely dragged away.

Kari gave an 'ok' sign back in response.

Amelia landed on the bed, giggling as she hugged the pillows tightly.

Kari went to find a closet, tossing her luggage inside.

She quickly found a pair of clothes to change into after she had showered.

Kari took out her laptop as she lay on her bed, typing away.

Amelia scooted over, brimming with curiosity as she saw what Kari was doing.

"You better go shower and change, we have 40 minutes more before we have to go down to the Lobby." Kari suddenly said.

Amelia blinked and suddenly remembered, she quickly grabbed her clothes and sprinted into the bathroom.

"Hurry up Amelia! We need to go now! We are literally 10 minutes late!" Kari said unhappily as she waited for Amelia impatiently.

Amelia finally got out of the shower, her hair still dripping with water. Amelia showed a sheepish and apologetic expression.

Kari glared at her and Amelia quickly grab her bag, stuffing whatever she considered necessary inside.

Kari tapped her foot as she waited for her by the door.

Glaring at her furiously while Amelia had imaginary tears running down her face *sob* *sob* Don't be angry at me!

Pushing through the crowd of the girls and boys surrounding the princes. Kari stumbled out, finally reaching the middle.

Kain immediately went over to help Kari. "Where were you guys? We were waiting for quite a while." Kain asked as he helped Kari up.

Kari glared at the culprit, Amelia whimpered and hid behind Damon.

"Anyways, why were we called down here?" Kari asked.

"The teacher is updating us on our schedule. We are gonna go to some popular landmarks around here." Kain answered.

"Oh, okay then."

The teachers arrived, making the students finally shut up. "Alright Students. We are here to inform your schedule for the rest of the trip. Please hand out these papers."

The teacher at the front passed a stack of papers to the students at the front and they eventually passed it down until it reach us.

"That's all. You may go back to your rooms now. Please be at the dining area tomorrow for breakfast at 9:00 am. If you are late, feel free to walk to your destination as you will miss the bus."

The teachers then walked away. Everyone burst into chatter.

"Wanna come to our rooms?" Xlec asked.

Amelia almost went to say yes before Kari stopped her.

"No thank you, I don't want endless rumours going around please."

"It's okay, I got some masks and hoodies for you," Kain said as created one out of thin air.

"Here you go." Now you can come with us right?" He handed it to Kari and she had no words to refute it.

Amelia dragged Kari to the toilet and they changed into it.

~After changing~

Following the princes, they went to the top floor and surprise, surprise. They were all staying in a suite.

"Well? Come on in!" Xlec said as he opened the door.
