2 Meeting a Diety

I felt as if I was floating in a endless abyss.

It could have been days or months, but I didn't care. I could sleep and do absolutely nothing! That is a hundred and twenty percent of all I want to do. This is what I call paradise!! As I cross my legs and recline back, ready for another nap, I thought.

Just as I was enjoying myself in the never ending darkness, a bright light appeared. I noticed that I was being hurled towards that light and did everything in my power to stop me from going there. Clawing and kicking at the darkness; like that's going to do something.

'No! No! No! I absolutely do not want to go where ever it's taking me! I love this place! Don't make me go!' I screamed as I was thrown into the light. I quickly shut my eyes from the blinding light that surrounds me, as I still scream.

"Oh shut up already!"

Startled I looked around, opening my eyes to find myself in a stark white room. The room had nothing inside of it. Just four walls, a roof, and a ceiling.

"Over here you moron".

'Like that helps' I rolled my eyes. "I'm down here you human!" I looked down in the the white room, near my feet, and saw a little kid in white. 'So adorable! Kya! I just want to pinch his cheeks' I screamed internally.

He had pale skin with pink cheeks. With blond hair as fine as golden silk. "You have been delaying your stay here for way too long. You, according to my calculations, should have lost your memories and moved on to reincarnation. I came here to investigate, but who would've guessed you in no rush to move on, nor had forgotten your memories like the rest" he said in an exasperated tone.

"It's not my fault you made that space so damn comfortable . If you didn't want me to stay, try making sure I can't relax. And what do you mean by losing my memories? And who are you?"

I am starting to get a little annoyed with the angelic looking boy. I wish he didn't pull me out of that abyss. I was perfectly fine there. No one could bother me. No annoying voices.

"I am Dasies, the god of reincarnations to the different worlds of the universe. Not the point. Anyway, you were supposed to move on!"

"I don't want to." I stated.

"Urgh! Do you know how much you have delayed my work! All because you didn't want to!"

I shrugged.

"You little..!" It's quite funny in my opinion considering who's little in the situation.

"Tell me what you want to be reincarnated with. Because you missed the time to return back to earth, I have to find a suitable place for you."

"Can't I just stay here?"

"No. Though you could wish for OP powers and cool skills or even a system that I have seen in those reincarnation novels you used to read. "

"No. Too much work"

"Well... I could send you to a world with no books." Dasies said with a sigh.

"WHAT!!!" No! That would be a torture all on its own. Books are an escape from reality when you need to get away from it. I would often read or have more books in my bag and room than clothes put together. I would have gone insane if I didn't have books and light novels to help me find an escape from the academy's torture and the grief from losing loved ones. If I get reincarnated into a world with no books I will go insane!

"That sound good. Right?" I sputtered and tried to reject what he said. "Well, I could add an extra gift... I got it!". He said as he snapped his fingers, " I'll allow you to have your original body with all the previous modifications,though you will have to grow from infancy to an teenager again... but you have all the powers of the new world and since you love dragons... aha! A dragon form! Along with this deity's one in million years blessing! Now off you go!"

'Wait! What!'

"Wait! I didn't..." my voice got cut off as I was sucked into a vortex into my new world; one that I had no option to go to.

"I wonder what she was going to say... oh well!" The deity then clapped his hands and a recliner with popcorn and soda, along with a tv appeared in the white room. He grabbed a remote and jumps into the recliner. He turns on the tv to watch the k-dramas that the mortals had made.

"Time to get back to work"
