2 Chapter 2: Miracle In A Grimm Encounter

"RRRRAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

An ear-piercing roar echoed throughout the whole complex as the tube initially containing the Faunus boy shattered revealing an abomination of black ooze shifting between forms of Grimm. Suddenly the Black ooze broke through the ceiling and brought chaos in it's wake, as it destroyed the servers containing all the saved project files then proceeded upwards.

"No. NOOO!"

The roof of the manor explodes as the black ooze leaps into the sky with large bat like wings which it uses to get as far away as possible from the facility.

"NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

Arthur was livid. His prized project that was within his grasp flew away in a matter of seconds. What's even worse is that it knew where the servers were and destroyed them, rendering all their research completely useless. All the years of research and sacrifice have now been turned to ashes, and he must now start the project from scratch all over again… wait.

What was he thinking?

It worked, the treatment worked.

He just needed to retrieve the specimen.

"M-master Arthur! We were unable to track the location of the specimen, but it has been spotted heading South-East at immense speeds. We will send Bullheads to track it while tapping in to the CCT stations to locate its whereabouts."

"Then how come you're still here? GO AND GET ME MY SPECIMEN!!"

""" YES SIR"""

As the troops head out to track it down, master Arthur turns towards the one in charge over the experiment. The most prominent smile spreading over his face as he walks over to him.

"Congratulations doctor! You have created the first ever Grimm hybrid in history."

*SHING*

"Tiss only a shame that you let it get out of control like that."

In that moment nobody knew how but as master Arthur walked past the lead scientist, he collapsed on the ground spraying blood all over the equipment as his head was rolling on the floor. Terror washed over the other researchers as Arthur moves closer and closer the now dead scientists second in command.

"Salvage whatever you can and continue research on project 'GRIMMOIRE', and for goodness sake make sure to get it right this time. Unless you want to join that lump of rotten meat on the floor."

"N-N-No sir, right away sir."

"Good."

As Arthur walks out into the corridor his smile fades away again.

'Useless bunch of vermin, they've cost me so much already. I cannot afford another mistake.'

As the boy lays in the burning wreckage that is his village, he does not feel sadness nor panic within the chaos and destruction. Only the empty void that grows ever larger within his heart has kept him company, as well as the Dragon that continues to stare at him from the sky with its piercing red eyes.

It wasn't flying but standing in the air as if the world was on its side.

The Dragon opens its mouth but what came out of it was unexpected.

'WHAT DO YOU FEAR OF MORTAL?'

The question itself was a little weird if a person spoke it but from this Dragon it would make any man fall to their knees in sheer panic. But the boy just stared at the Dragon, not as a monster but as someone who he feels a strong connection with.

'If you're wondering whether I'm afraid of you or not, then the answer is no. I don't feel anything when I look into your eyes except for a little bit of familiarity, as if you and I want the same thing.

The only thing I fear now is letting the real monsters continue to breathe the same air I do. Since

they took everything from me, it's only fair if I tear all of their dreams to pieces.'

The dragon stares at me for a few more seconds before it started to laugh.

'HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. YOU'VE GOT QUITE THE FIRE IN YOUR EYES BOY, BUT THIS IS NO TIME TO BE LYING ON YOUR BACK."

The dragon unfurls its humongous black wings that devoured any and all light around it, a powerful and majestic aura emanating from it as it continues to look through my very soul.

'RISE MORTAL. SO THAT WE MAY DESTROY ANY WHO STAND IN OUR WAY, AND DEVOUR EVERY HOPE THAT OUR ENEMIES POSSESS.'

These words. These words alone struck a cord with the boy after so long of being the one to take care of everything on his own, there was someone who's finally giving him support. Even if the one offering was a Grimm he felt happy, for now the boy felt that he has a chance of getting revenge not just for him but for Feri as well.

The boy sits up then pushes himself off the ground, literally rising off the ground until he stopped a few feet from the dragon's face.

'Thank you. May I ask for my benefactors name?'

'HMHMM, VERY WELL. I AM AMON, BRINGER OF CHAOS AND A BANE TO ANY WHO STAND BEFORE ME. NOW TELL ME MORTAL, WHAT IS YOUR NAME?'

'I am Luc Samael, the one who will stop at nothing to bring my enemies to the gates of hell.'

'PERFECT.'

*SNAP*

In an instant the Luc was no longer in his village but instead is now standing on a beach, staring out into the horizon. A gentle blew in from the ocean as the smell of salt filled Luc's nose while the sun was setting, turning the sky into a gorgeous gradient of oranges and purples. When Luc looked down he saw that he was standing in the water but something more important caught his eyes.

His appearance had changed significantly as he continues to stare at his reflection. His short black hair had grown out a little and is now completely white the same with his horns which look like polished ivory, his skin was more pale than it used to be, and his once blue eyes have now turned as red as a Grimm's.

After looking at his face he then focused on his body, and he was once again shocked at the changes that have occurred. The most significant one being that he now stood much taller than he used to, now standing at 6'3" rather than 5'2". His body which used to be frail from undernourishment has become more muscular and solid, like those martial artists shown in movies. The worn-out baggy clothing he was wearing now hugged his form tightly showing off the definition in his dense muscular structure.

'Holy Monty. What the hell happened to me?'

'BEATS ME, BUT THIS LOOK FITS YOU WAY BETTER THAN YOUR PREVIOUS FORM'

Luc, surprised by the voice in his head searched his surroundings until his thoughts caught up with him and remembered the owner of that voice.

'Amon?'
