A Greedy wish

In a world of fantasy where mages and knights exist and monsters roam and fight for survival there resides a kingdom called Bermula. In this kingdom there are many nobles and commoners who all have their place under the King Helbart lll and the two noble families serving under him, the Goids and the Kleid.

In the Kleid family there was a pair of twins that were born from one of the three mistresses. Unfortunately the mother died due to the stress of giving labour and she passed away without the moral support of her husband. The two children were sent to a mansion where their mother lived along with the butler. The two twins had calming black hair like their mother and one had black eyes and the other had a dark shade of gray almost exactly like black. The butler who was around his 61, named the black eyed twin Astray and he named the dark grey one Darwin.

As time past Darwin was found to have a weak condition and constantly got sick and rarely left the bed while Astray was healthy he started to get educated at 4 and sword training at 6.

Astray often visited Dawin when he could and read him stories and told him about his day while Darwin listened.

Darwin was tended by the maids who treated him as if he has the plague and would look down on him. The butler and Astray were the only people that treated him like family.

*7 Years since birth*

A cough could be heard from Darwin's room

"You go in to check"

"No you go in it's your turn"

The sounds of maids bickering on who went in and the sound of light footsteps was also heard

"Young master Astray we were just about to go into Darwin's room" the maids said simultaneously

"It's fine I will visit him" Astray had a gentle tone as he responded

*cough cough*

The door slammed opened

"Brother are you ok!"

"Yep im ok" a weak reply came out from Darwin

"Don't worry brother I arranged a bishop to come again to try another healing method"

"No it's too expensive just let me rest and I will get better" a small smile appeared on Darwin's face

*sob* *sob* "Im sorry your useless brother can't heal you"

"Your the best twin brother I could ever ask for"

"I have to go do my swordsman classes so I have to leave" he said before wiping off his tears

*door closes* as Astray leaves

"If only I was strong and not sick" Darwin's voice was cracked as he started to cry

He felt agony for a while but he could never show this to the others since he didn't want worry them anymore

A sudden glow appeared on the wall across from his bed, shaping itself, the lines inbetween the unpainted wall started to come together, a section of the wall transformed into a golden door that magically opened showing another room behind the door

"Huh" Darwin tilted his head to see and was confused
