Kim Namjoon was scrambling to get ready and look his best for his interview with the new CEO, of the  company he worked for. He was so incredibly nervous, that he could feel his heart pounding and his palms sweating profusely. He had heard from a lot of his co workers that they had been fired and that the CEO was brutally blunt and harsh. One of his co workers, and his best friend, Park Jimin, came out in tears.

"Hey what's wrong, Jiminie?" Namjoon asked while Jimin was wiping away his tears.

"Its the CEO. He's so mean and blunt. He yelled at me and bullied me for an hour straight on my height and weight. He said I'm worthless and I'll never amount to anything,"  Jimin said in sniffles.

"Hey, don't listen to that asshole, you deserve way better than this. I'll help you find another job okay?"

"Thanks hyung, it just really sucks. I've been here for 5 years and this is the thanks I get," Jimin sobbed.

"I know, I'm next on the list for interviews. I'm so nervous since you aren't the only one who has left or ran out in tears. Jihyo even, left sobbing her heart out, and she's normally the rock of this company. I tried to comfort her but she really wanted to be alone," Namjoon sighed.

"Damn, that sucks, I'll go find her. Good luck hyung, you're really going to need it for Mr. Seokjin. We'll wait outside for you until your interview is over," Jimin smiled.

"Ok but don't worry about this, okay? I'll help you find a job and you're my roommate, so that helps." Namjoon grinned.

"Yeah, I'm so grateful for you hyung," Jimin smiled as he hugged Namjoon tightly.

"Kim Namjoon," The receptionist called out.

"Yes?" Namjoon asked.

"He's ready for you, just walk in and he'll start," She said.

"Okay," Namjoon said in a weary voice.

"You'll do great! You better be sure to tell me how it goes," Jimin laughed.

"Ok I will. Y'all can go ahead and go to the bar. I'll meet you guys there when I'm done with my interview," Namjoon said.

"Ok," Jimin grinned.

Namjoon gulped before walking into the CEO's office, he had been there before numerous times, when Lee Taemin was the head CEO, but now it felt foreign and terrifying to Namjoon.

"Well, are you just going to stand there like an idiot or are you going to do this interview? I don't have all day," Seokjin snapped.

"Yes sir,"  Namjoon said while scrambling to his chair.

"Now, tell me about your position, and all that good stuff. I'll try not to get too bored," Seokjin said.

"Well I'll try not to be too boring since you apparently don't have all damn day," Namjoon snapped back.

Seokjin seemed surprised at the response but allowed him to keep talking.

"I am the secretary and chief financial officer of this company. I handle both because the pig that was the chief financial officer before me stole a lot of money from this company, and the previous CEO never got a replacement, since I handled it all. I answered all the calls even the ridiculous promo calls I had to sit through for hours. Those insanely boring  calls are mind numbing and repetitive, I also handled all the paperwork, and kept everyone in line. I was basically the right hand man as they say. Did I bore you or are you just that much of an asshole?" Namjoon asked.

"Feisty. I like it. You seem more than qualified to keep your current position but I would like to promote you to my assistant. Do you accept?"

"Can I think about it?"  Namjoon asked.

"Yes but don't keep me waiting. I don't like waiting," Seokjin said as his eyes turned red.

"What the fuck?" Namjoon shrieked.

"What?" Seokjin asked.

"Why the fuck are your eyes red?!" Namjoon asked.

"I don't know what you're talking about, doll, but you're dismissed. I expect an answer in 3 days regarding the position I offered you," Seokjin snapped.

"Whatever," Namjoon grumbled.

Once Namjoon stepped through the bar, he was enveloped in a tight hug.

"Hey Namjoon! What's up my man?" Hoseok smiled.

"Not much, where's Jimin?" Namjoon asked.

"He took the bus home, since he was so upset. I tried to ask what was wrong but he just ran outside sobbing," Hoseok said.

"I'll go check on him since he's most likely at our place, thanks again, Hobi," Namjoon laughed before quickly heading home.  He unlocked his apartment door and was instantly greeted with hysterical sobs coming from their bedrooms. Namjoon found a hysterical Jimin curled into a ball on his bed sobbing his heart out.

"Jiminie, what's wrong?" Namjoon asked in concern.

"It's nothing,"  Jimin said in sniffles.

"It's something if you're this upset.  Now tell your hyung what's wrong,"

"I was just thinking about the interview and how he could possibly be right about me," Jimin sobbed.

"Listen to me, Jimin. He is NOT right about you or your abilities. If he knew you like how I know you, he would've hired you since you are the most determined person I've ever met. I think he's terribly wrong about you and I can prove it to him," Namjoon assured.

"R-really?" Jimin sniffled.

"Yes. Now come here let's snuggle and watch Netflix Namjoon smiled.

"Okay, you better turn on Stranger Things! I need to see the 3rd season,"  Jimin laughed.

"Anything for Chim Chim," Namjoon laughed. Once Jimin was sound asleep, Namjoon opened his email to find an email from Kim Seokjin.

~Kim Namjoon,

I was emailing you regarding the position I offered you. I have another potential candidate and need your answer by tomorrow. Don't be an idiot. I don't like to be kept waiting.

~Kim Seokjin (CEO of Bighit franchises and Starship enterprises)

Namjoon quickly opened his email and typed his response to Seokjin's stupid email.

~Kim Seokjin

I will accept the position on one condition.

You need to hire my assistant, Park Jimin, back. If you don't meet my condition, I will gladly choose the other company that offered us both a position at higher pay.

Kim Namjoon.

He refreshed it and found another email by Seokjin.

Kim Namjoon,

Fine, I'll hire the brat back as your helper, but you will definitely be hearing about this tomorrow. I will inform Park Jimin via phone call tomorrow. I expect you and Park Jimin early tomorrow. Goodnight.

Kim Seokjin.

'Geez and they call me an asshole.' Namjoon thought. Namjoon snuggled with Jimin and fell asleep quickly.

Namjoon was awoken to Jimin yelling his name in an excited voice.

"JOONIE! Wake up!" Jimin yelled.

"Huh?" Namjoon asked Jimin who was still bouncing excitedly on their bed.

"Joonie! He hired me back! He hired me back!!!" Jimin smiled.

"Congrats Jiminie! Let me check my email to find out the time he expects us to arrive."

He saw he had 3 emails from Seokjin. He internally groaned at the thought of what Seokjin had to complain about this time to him.

Kim Namjoon,

I expect you here at 9 am.

I also informed your "friend" of his hired status.

Kim Seokjin.

Kim Namjoon,

I changed the uniforms for the company. Make sure to order for both you and Jimin. I'll make an exception for today but tomorrow I expect you and Jimin in uniform.

Kim Seokjin.

Kim Namjoon,

Additionally, I have another receptionist since he was my original one at my other company. I just  transferred him over today but he knows to let you in. His name is Min Yoongi and he will ring you up when you arrive.

Kim Seokjin.

"Are you ready hyung?" Jimin asked.

"Yes, now let's go. I really don't need an ass chewing on our first day," Namjoon laughed.

The drive was filled with Jimin singing music from the radio, while Namjoon smiled fondly at him.

Once they were at the immense building of Starship enterprises, they parked in their designated parking spot and headed up to the receptionist.

"Good morning, Mr Kim Namjoon and Park Jimin. I'll ring you both up." Yoongi smiled.

"Well it's about time you both got here. What have I told you Namjoon? I don't like to be kept waiting and I certainly don't like employees who are late."

"Don't give me that shit. You said in your email 9 am. It's 8:30," Namjoon snapped.

"Really? I thought I said 8," Seokjin huffed.

"Nope you said 9. I have the email on my phone if you want to see," Namjoon smirked.

"That won't be necessary just get to work both of you," Seokjin snapped.

"Yes sir," They both grumbled.

Namjoon just arrived to his desk when the phone rang with another mind numbing  promo call.

"Fuck. I hate these promo calls since they are  usually a bunch of grade A bullshit," Namjoon grumbled.

"Yeah, those certainly aren't fun to listen to,"  Jimin giggled in agreement.

Namjoon put it on speaker while Namjoon and Jimin mocked the salesperson advertising their potential business for investment purposes.

"Are you still there, Mr Namjoon?"

"Yeah I'm still here. I was just listening to your fascinating content," Namjoon said sarcastically.

"Really? I'm interesting enough for the CEO?" The salesperson asked.

"No,"  Namjoon said and hung up.

The phone rang again but before he answered he told Jimin,

"I swear to god if it's the same salesperson I'm going to die laughing."

"This is Kim Namjoon. How may I help you today?"

"Ummm hi I'm Kim Seokjin's divorce attorney. May I speak with him?"

"Yes I'll transfer you to his office right now."

"It was his divorce attorney. Honestly I don't blame them if they left him. He's an asshole," Namjoon said .

"That's the truth," Jimin laughed.

"I can't believe he hasn't bothered us yet. He seems like the type to drive you crazy," Namjoon laughed.

"He's probably on the phone. He'll probably come when he's off the phone," Jimin sighed.

That's when they heard yelling.

"I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE HER WITH NOTHING! SHE ISN'T GETTING A CENT OUT OF ME, EITHER DO YOUR JOB OR YOU'RE FIRED! Seokjin yelled in his office.

"I feel bad for her and the attorney," Namjoon said.

"Yeah I know," Jimin sighed.

"Well I think we're done. We should let him know," Namjoon sighed.

"You go," Jimin said.

"Ok," Namjoon sighed.

Namjoon headed to the receptionist and sighed in annoyance.

"I need the key for Kim Seokjin's office."

"I can't give you that, sir. It's only for Jin," Yoongi said.

"Look, just give me the key and quit wasting my time,"  Namjoon snapped.

"Fine, but if I get an ass chewing I'm blaming it on you," Yoongi said.

"Go right ahead," Namjoon smirked.

Namjoon unlocked the door to a pissed off Seokjin on the phone.

"Look here, you lousy bitch, you aren't getting a cent from me now fuck off and don't call me again," Seokjin said slamming the phone down.

"What the fuck do you want? And who gave you the fucking key?" Seokjin growled.

"First off, I came here to tell you that Jimin and I finished the paperwork, your welcome by the way, Secondly, I got the key from Yoongi since you weren't answering my knocks,"  Namjoon snapped.

"Fine. You can both leave but  come here tomorrow morning in your new uniform and ON TIME!" Seokjin yelled.

"It's not my fault you made a stupid typo," Namjoon shrugged.

Jin's eyes turned red yet again and he slammed Namjoon into the wall at inhuman speed.

Namjoon gasped for breath until Jin's hands wrapped tightly around his neck restricting his breathing even more.

"Don't talk to me like that. I'm still your boss and I own your sorry ass and your little friend. Now watch it," Seokjin smirked.

"Say ok or I'll fucking choke the shit out of you," Jin growled.

"O-ok," Namjoon choked out in sharp gasps.

"Good. Now you're dismissed for the day," Jin growled.

"Holy fuck Namjoon what is that purple hand print on your neck?" Jimin asked.

"Seokjin,"  Namjoon grunted.

"I should've went in there. I'm sorry Joonie," Jimin sniffled.

"Hey it's ok. I wanted to go in there in case he was in a bad mood. Itreally is okay Jiminie," Namjoon assured.

"But-" Jimin tried.

"No. I made the decision to protect you, now let's watch Hulu and forget about this. What would you like to watch, Jimin?" Namjoon smiled.

"Anything is fine," Jimin laughed.

"Ok, Blindspot it is!" Namjoon laughed.

"Yay, I love that show! I forgot what season I'm on,"  Jimin giggled.

"We'll watch the third season, okay?"

"Okay!" Jimin smiled snuggling up to Namjoon and shortly falling asleep.
